Zim vs Jim, I love how their names rhyme. Zim might have better ones like Crypto or Sgt. Keroro, but this one seems interesting as well. Gotta love the oldie-video game space fight vibe this track has too!
Another good foe for Zim is actually another character that Stephen Horvitz has voiced.

As for connections:
Both are insanely smart, but extremely short in height and temper
Both have tons of technology at their disposal and have a useless minion that doesn't do much to help out (Gir fir Zim and Glumshanks for Kaos)
Both are seen as incompetent in their universe, despite their achievements and accolades.
Both have helped save the world from bigger threats, but only so they can be the ones to rule the world instead.
The only real difference between the two is that Kaos has magic and can survive any attempt of capture of any kind, including being captured in Traptanium, which is the most durable and hardest-to-destroy material in Skylanders while Zim does not have as good of escape tactics. Heck, he was defeated in Dib's mind by Gaz and was flushed down the toilet in response (he was microscopic at that time)
Finally! An Invader Zim track, It's not Zim vs Crypto, but it's still amazing!
Either Crypto or Jim, or even Martian… Zim will show them why the Irken Armada will conquer all.
Jim is one of the few guys (worms) around who would deal with Zim's insanity and just think it was Tuesday.
Bet the battle ends with Earthworm Jim starts blasting while laughing like an even crazier maniac than Zim, with Zim letting out Richard Horvitz's famous screams.
Probably having GIR in his dog costume being oblivious with Peter's monster form in the side of things, too.
Or Jim launches a cow near the start, only for it to land on Zim at the end for the kill, as a reference to the ending of Earthworm Jim 1

Yeah, Jim has a degree of Superhuman strength due to his suit and a laser gun which Zim can handle.
I haven't played Destroy All Humans yet, but just going by the trailer for Reprobed, Crypto's major advantage would be his telekinesis. Not sure if Zim in the comics has a counter for such a power.
This is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MATCH-UP. Having two intergalactic invaders duke it out, now this’ll definitely come down to tech but also anatomy on both fighters. Now I don’t have much knowledge on these two apart from the minimum so take all my match-up knowledge with a handful of salt.
Invader Zim
Advantages
+Overall better anatomy since he always has his PAK attached to him which allows him to have access to better mobility as well as all sorts of gadgets
+If Zim can get rid of Jim’s suit, it’s an automatic win as without his suit, Jim is literally just an earthworm
+More unorthodox gadgets than Jim which have been proven to be very useful
+His ship seems to be more advanced technologically than Jim’s as we can probably compare Zim’s ship to Tak’s
+Gir, just Gir
+Although Zim may seem like an idiot he has proven to be very intelligent, however lacks much common sense/knowledge apart from Irken knowledge
Stalemates
*Zim’s lack of common sense will definitely be a detriment to his intelligence
*So to be serious with Gir he’s definitely a mixed bag, sometimes he’s useful, sometimes he’s useless, but he’s often more useful in terms of distracting and being a general nuisance which can definitely throw off Jim
Disadvantages
-Zim’s general smaller size to Jim’s suit
-Zim can be shown to be very reckless rather than calculative as when his long convoluted plans began to fail he begins to panic
-Very oblivious, just like REALLY oblivious at sometimes
Earthworm Jim
Advantages
+Jim definitely has the physical and combat-experience upper hand as Zim often uses his gadgets rather than going toe-to-toe in a fight
+I’ve only seen Jim use a ray gun, but that’s definitely something in the ranged approach at least
Stalemates
*Jim can use his body as a whip-like weapon/propeller/lasso which definitely puts him in a glass cannon-like state, while granting him some firepower and much needed mobility
*Jim can be very determined to achieve his goals, but this can also make him turn a blind eye to any other threats (same applies to Zim)
Disadvantages
-Without his suit Jim is a sitting duck
-Jim could be overwhelmed/confused by all the weird Irken technology Zim uses
-Jim has less access to better technology
This is probably wrong because I do not watch much Earthworm Jim nor Invader Zim, I’ve only seen some clips of Invader Zim and Enter the Florpus as well as Whoisthisgit’s videos on Earthworm Jim as well as a trailer that one time. Overall though, I personally think Zim would win this
Edit: So after looking a bit more into Jim, yea no Jim would win, unfortunately for us Zim fans. Jim just has the durability and strength to take on all of Zim’s gadgets while I can’t say the same about Zim. Zim is a pretty tough cookie, but Jim is just way too strong and tanky for Zim to really do any damage to him. Honestly though I personally think this would come down to whether Zim could take Jim out of his suit, if he could it’d be an easy win. Keyword on the if he could, Jim never takes off his suit, and the suit itself can take a pretty heavy beating. Jim in his earthworm form is also pretty tough since in one of idle animations in-game he shoots himself with his own ray gun and walks it off albeit a bit stunned for a moment. So yea, Jim wins it through just by being one hell of a tough earthworm which Zim just can’t keep up with even with all of his gadgets.

I actually would’ve found it more sensical for Crypto(Destroy All Humans!) to fight Zim since he’s also an alien serving for a planet-invading armada, and is somewhat psychotic like, or just ENJOYS chaos as much as Zim.
Also, there could be a joke highlighting how Zim sounds like Crypto’s master!

The fight could begin with Crypto receiving a call from who he thinks is his master, only for it to be revealed that Zim accidentally hijacked his communication frequency.

This is an amazing matchup, holy crap! I'd love to see this.
Zim certainly has a good versatility advantage thanks to his tech, but Jim's just too tough of an adversary for Zim to really hurt. In regards to Zim's own physique, he seems to be less durable than even the average human, so Jim would have no trouble overpowering him. Even if we included GIR and Peter as backup, one Hulk-out from Peter and GIR gets reduced to scrap metal.
I always thought of Stitch being a good opponent for Zim, but Earthworm Jim is a pretty good choice to.

Stitch is way too powerful for Zim. As Jumba said himself, “He is bulletproof, fireproof, can think faster than a supercomputer, he can see in the dark, lift objects 3000x his diminutive size… His only instinct? To destroy everything he touches.” There’s not much in Zim’s arsenal that can really put Stitch down, as even a plasma cannon was suggested as a means to STUN HIM, not even outright kill him. On top of that, Stitch is way stronger and smarter, meaning he could either outsmart Zim, who we know is an idiot, or just break his body easily. Jim is a much fairer match-up for Zim. You’d need someone like Shadow the Hedgehog to even get close to Stitch’s power.

The irkens would make a pretty cool antagonist for am Earthworm Jim game/episode. Lots of eating dirt and doom.
I know it's said often, but I'll be damned if I say that I expected either of 'em to get a commission.
Still, song is solid. Sounds like a classic OST for a game but taken out of 8bit and put into what could be almost freaking metal. And I love it. It has the perfect atmosphere and feel along with the heaviness that a DB track needs.
I'll also note the 2:05-2:39 segment which is extremely unique sounding via that sort of "chanting" font that can be heard in the background which I don't believe was used in another commissioned track ? This also applies to the ending (3:09-3:27) which has soundfonts that I don't think were used ever in commissions and that's amazing. Also on that same note gosh the ending sounds epic. I like it. Just like the entire song, it's really solid. Amazing work as always.

Ok I didn't expect this and well this match is something interesting. but i still prefer invader zim vs crypto and earthworm jim vs bomberman but this one is interesting. because it is very thematic, also the soundtrack is very attached to the characters, it is an incredible musical theme.
Now about who would win, I'm in favor of Jim because he is at Universal levels in AP, strength and durability, he also has great speed along with good weapons and special abilities. But Zim is smarter with lethal weaponry and physical stats close to Jim's. but in the end Earthworm Jim wins but with difficulty

I dont know much about Zim, but considering Jim has toon force and I know Zim doesnt, Jim wins by default.
Zim has status quo retcon though. At one point he was literally turned into bologna. Was fine next episode. When occasionally called out on an inconsistency he just hand waves it that it was always this way. (“Oh that’s minimoose, my other assistant. Been with me the whole time. Yep.”) Also there’s a decent chance that if Jim kills him Zims backpack will jump onto Jim and download Zims consciousness making him the next Zim. Normally that’d never work but Zim is so whacky the body might accept the transfer.
@@kagato23 I could see the mind rewrite thing working honestly, but in terms of status quo retconning I would say thats more possible timelines or endings for Zim. Sometimes Zim is defeated and turned into bologna, sometimes Gir is actually useful, etc
@@socialaccount0000 the parameter were if Jim wins by default. A retconned loss would still be a loss, and status quo reset means lost anything can happen today since it won’t matter tomorrow.

Funny you mention the minions! I was Just thinking about a match up between Gru and the Overlord, from the video game of the same namesake. Mostlt to see the two minion types bash it out at their superiors command. But just as well to have a sort of Spy villain parody antihero go against a fantasy villain parody anti hero
