Yes true, but also some techniques may be easier for one player than another, the artist who wrote the lick or solo did so in a way he or she was comfortable with, that way may not be the rite way for everybody, instead of following tabs exact, play it where you feel most comfortable. As long as it comes through sounding close enough, nobody will ever know the difference besides the person who wrote it,even if you miss a note or two hear or there. The big picture will be shown to 99.9% of the world. Im not as great as id love to be,i have to make sacrifices with hard songs in order to move on or ill end up giving up on the song, sometimes close is close enough i guess
I saw a guy on the tutorial play Joe bonamassa so many roads so many trains, and I could play it just like he could but he played it too fast, and then I bought the tablet your book, and I played the first page I could read the tablet here and the notation together and that's how I figured out how to play it I couldn't do both I had to do both to figure it out but it was just luck, I've never been able to do that again, but I know I can play Joe bonamassa
I would start with understanding how to mute your strings properly. This is the biggest issue I see with beginners and those that have been playing a while. If you can’t create proper note separation doesn’t matter how many scales you practice.

Great advice brother!
Thanks!
What I'm trying to say is I have all the capabilities of playing Joe bonamassa I just can't read the music or the tab.
