- I already test road the 107 Heritage Classic a few weeks ago, but it is time to try the Heritage Classic 114 also.

Heritage is the best Harley ! It’s a cruiser, touring….. I ride everyday from here Oakville to Toronto and it’s a pleasure!

I love my 107 2018 Softail. It's lightweight, rides and maneuvers well. Upgraded it to stage II performance, and the torque is amazing. I ride two up with my wife the majority of the time. Purchased a more comfortable seat, half moon passenger footboards and tour pack (with backrest) for her to make riding more comfortable. I highly recommend this bike. If I had to do it over again, I'd get the 114 instead of the 107. I believe you can only get the 114 for 2022.

What seat did you get? I have a 2016 Heritage and the seat is okay but not great.
@@GlenB I ended up getting the same style seat that I have now but thicker from Harley Davidson. I also purchased a back rest that I really love because it helps keeps me from slouching keeping my back erect and from getting sore.
The Heritage is prob my favorite HD model.

I owned this bike. Was a great motorcycle. Traded it in for a 18 streetglide cvo. N I miss this bike in many ways
a heritage classic is just awesome in so many ways! but I am sure you like your street Glide also :)
@@CorinnaHaimerl yea both great bikes. The heritage has less frills but a awesome smooth solid ride the cvo streetglide has amazing ride but imo alot of distracting things which is one thing in a way I could do without. But as I get use to it it has its perks.

Thank you for this video!! I’m the same height and petite and my husband says the bike is too big for me but I love it! As a new rider do you think this is too much to start on?
It is only too big if you go into it with this mindset 😁 I outgrew my Iron883 within 2 months and wished I had the heritage right away.
It is just a matter of training, if you feel comfortable sitting on it and making sure you reach the floor and handlebars :)
I was also riding big baggers and that was no problem at all :) it is about skill, not size 🥰 you go girl and have fun!!!!
If your feet touch the ground, then it’s not too big.
The weight… ignore that. Bike control and training will overcome the weight of the bike easily for any slow speed and high speed manoeuvres. It has zero to do with your physical size, provided your feet can touch the ground.

Hi Corinna, can you shed some lights on the difference between slim and heritage classic in terms of ergonomic and riding comfort? I understand heritage classic is definitely more comfortable but is it winning by much? I am a big fan of slim’s look. A bit concerned with it’s hunch over riding position tho. Thanks

there is a video coming soon about it, but as a little spoiler:
- the seat of the heritage is way more comfortable, the slim one looks cool but is very thin and quiet hard
- with the higher handlebars and the windshield on the heritage, you are sitting more straight than on the slim. BUT you are already sitting pretty straight on the slim also. You are not hunching over as much as you might think 🥰 by adding risers (extensions to your handlebar) you solve the last view inches. and a new seat 😅 we are just about the same transition and will share the transformation here on this channel also ☺️
@@CorinnaHaimerl that’s great to hear. I am hoping the 4.5” riser will solve the problem perfectly. BTW I am 5’8. I know a 6” riser will give me the same height of heritage handlebar but will affect the slim look adversely. Maybe a HD reach seat helps too? I want either the Road King or the Heritage Classic. I like the looks of the Heritage Classic more then the Road King. But i heard the Heritage Classic is smaller then the Road King. So im thinking i need the Road King since im taller and dont like to look like im riding a kids bike. That being said. So did you notice if the Road King is bigger then the Heritage Classic?
they are both gorgeous bikes but handle different!
the Road kind looks a little bigger bc of the headlight and stuff, but not that much so it would matter:) I am sure by now you have seen my Road King Review video as well :)
they are both different in the feel of it and ride different, and I think that is the most important part when it comes to the final decision. Do you have a chance to sit on both or even test ride it?
I'm 5'11" and I fit like a glove on my Softail. The Road King is heavier and not as nimble as the Heritage. The Heritage and Road King close to being the same price unless you get a Road King Special and that will cost you more.

I don't understand how people dont get wind helmet buffeting with factory windshield. I cant get rid of it :(
it honestly all depends on height, arm length, seat etc.
