Question: Do the outside statue positions change during a single rotation? If not, when the 5 players get frozen, would it be feasible to just stand by your own statue position and the free player just pick up the ghost and dunk it? I haven't done the raid. Just asking.
One thing that NEEDS to be VERY explicit: the "Inside/Solo" team does each 2D shape ONE AT A TIME. Once you have your shapes, send one at a time to each member, and do NOT get both shapes at the same time, or you'll need to reset. The solo players ONLY need to pick up both shapes at the same time when making the key. Good video Fallout! ❤
if you pick up the wrong shape by accident, pick up 2 shapes and deposit to any guardian statue to get rid of both shapes you picked up @@agentgauntlet4092
This encounter will take a while to learn. Be patient with people. But it will click eventually and becomes a very satisfying encounter. Our team got it down in about an hour.

This guy just has a way of fully explaining everything and covering everything we need in way that is very easy to understand, been raiding more frequently after warching his deep stone crypt guide way back then. Fallout really said just grab all your friends who are also too SCUUURD to do the raid and just get it done. I've been doing raids from watching his guides ever since. 😂
It's actually crazy how well you explained this. Like a Destiny version of the Organic Chemistry Tutor. Never even played this raid but I feel like I could explain this encounter to a group of strangers now LMFAO
God this is going to be a nightmare to do on time and/or teaching. Especially given it's random who is teleported and the only visual is based on Guardian's armor. I feel like they should be in different positions/emotes. I can already feel the migraine doing this for hours with an LFG team full of people who claim they KWTD, but don't actually.

Edit: so the real mechanic is to get both symbols you dont current have sent to you. Then the shaddows from the other 2 guardians you see in your room get removed. And then you can (in theory) create any key you want which does not contain your symbol. But obviously it needs to work for all 3 Thats why if you are C: SS TT ST all work for you to leave the room (and this makes the challenge possible) Old comment: If the solo players would do it perfectly they don’t get ported as ghosts and the glass door doesn’t shatter So somehow you need to swap away your first 2 symbols which the proposed tactic in the video does But it’s so stupid that a perfect play results in a softlock because the door doesn’t open
This was happening for my team and the solution we found is that no matter what shapes your back wall starts off as you need to send both of them to the other 2 solo players because the ghost mechanic wont happen until 6 trades have occurred
I finished the raid yesterday and I knew how to do the solo room, but I didn’t understand the logic. After watching this, I finally understand both solo and outside rooms. This is a great guide, I can’t wait to do this encounter again.

I cried laughing nervously yesterday trying to understand how to do this encounter. Everyone was telling me this and that but nobody was able to make me understand. And to be fair there was no structure and they didn't explain why we were making the shapes how and when. You made it very clear, it was so easy to compherend what needs to be done after watching your video. Thank you sir!
Alright I just listened to 3 attempts, all really nice excited people who very clearly understand the mechanics so well that they can't quite bridge the gap to someone who does not. This was absolutely EXCELLENTLY explained - thank you!!
Two weeks later, still haven’t attempted the raid only bcuz I’ve been busy with school and irl stuff but already I feel like this video has helped me understand the encounter better than other guides might have explained. And ur method for the solo player sounds very fluid and precise. GGs man. Can’t wait to attempt the raid and get the pulse, sniper and exotic.
This actually helped. A lot. I did this raid a week ago and I walked away still barely understanding Verity. The Sherpa kinda sucked at explaining it. This helped by giving me something to visualize while giving clear and concise instructions on what to actually do without making it complicated.
just did this. had absolutely no idea what was happening while having it explained twice and taking notes. got through purely because i got lucky and only got pulled in once. this explanation is 30x simpler than what i was told

not in here. there are multiple encounters where all 6 need to participate. Tho I supposeif you are inside you could die on purpose to go back outside if there are 3 competant disectors

Then the UK guys stopped his explanation claming, we got it! Then proceeded to not have it. After I looked at the report and they were in that instance for 3 hours before I joined. I was wondering why they were so pissy..lol

The keys and door framing was great, and clearly stating each team's goal and circling back to it was SO smart

I’m sure the person in the left inside room would realize that they would not need to do anything. I agree it’s easier to move less and that does help move the encounter along. The way he mentions to move a total of 12 times is because it makes it easier for lfg. Obviously it’s quite hard for people to solve the puzzle. Me personally I like to communicate who needs what.

Same length as the section in Datto's guide, but I think this one made more sense to me. Or maybe I was just sleepy watching Datto's. Probably good to watch both. We love complementary content.

Hey I’m glad you felt that way, but it didn’t feel very clear or thorough to me. How do you get rid of your shapes? is that just dunking the two shapes that aren’t yours into your corresponding teammate statues?

Love this encounter. now that I figured out how to do all rolls in this encounter yesterday it feels so much fun. I can be solo, I can dissect, and revive. If everyone know what they’re doing it goes so smooth
This video explains the easiest strategy on the shadow rooms... but it doesn't explain some mechanics that might cause a lot of headaches: 1-Why oggres spawn on the solo rooms 2-What happens when they are killed. 3-Why there is only one knight on the room. 4-Why the wall is blank. 5-Why the waill is showing a weird figure. 6-Why you can't out if you and your statue on the outside room are holding the correct shapes. 7-What to do if you pick up the wrong shape.
First time doing this, you will be confused as hell. After a few runs, my lizard brain finally understood what to do in the darkened rooms. I can't imagine being the day one runners trying to figure this out. Who knew that geometry would be our third greatest enemy?
The first 3 outside dunks are free. The statues will always spawn with a shape it doesn't need. If the inside is CST, you can just deposit CST on the outside with the first set of knights. Then kill Unstopps and only one person needs to figure out the 4th dunk.
when i saw the encounter in the raid race i thought it was pretty visually but now that i understand the mechanic thx 2 u this is such a cool encounter

Not a reset per se.
Thankfully doing the two same shape method will already fulfill that requirement but that is good to know!

If it’s any consolidation, if you die before the encounter starts you can forcefully send the three alive players inside.

Hey I’m glad you felt that way, but it didn’t feel very clear or thorough to me. How do you get rid of your shapes? is that just dunking the two shapes that aren’t yours into your corresponding teammate statues?

Awesome video. I don't do raids but I watch all your raid guides just incase one day I do them. Can't wait for the full raid guide.
This video explains the easiest strategy on the shadow rooms... but it doesn't explain some mechanics that might cause a lot of headaches:
1-Why oggres spawn on the solo rooms
2-What happens when they are killed.
3-Why there is only one knight on the room.
4-Why the wall is blank.
5-Why the waill is showing a weird figure.
6-Why you can't out if you and your statue on the outside room are holding the correct shapes.
7-What to do if you pick up the wrong shape.
So farm the other four checkpoints and skip this one, got it.
Lol yep, this is too much to remember. I have a hard time remembering my wife's birthday let alone remember all this.

For clarity. The inside players CANNOT use a symbol they started with to create a key. You can only use symbols passed to you to create a key.

never seen a more complex puzzle with such a simple way to beat it😁
First time doing this, you will be confused as hell. After a few runs, my lizard brain finally understood what to do in the darkened rooms. I can't imagine being the day one runners trying to figure this out. Who knew that geometry would be our third greatest enemy?

I haven't attempted encounter 4 but this makes feel pretty confident about giving it a shot on my first run!
The first 3 outside dunks are free. The statues will always spawn with a shape it doesn't need. If the inside is CST, you can just deposit CST on the outside with the first set of knights. Then kill Unstopps and only one person needs to figure out the 4th dunk.
The most difficult thing is having your hunters changing their fashion ahah, but really good guide I'm going to try the raid now
