So sorry to hear this has happened to you. When I was preparing to start my channel I knew that I wanted to use music as an intro and also use music for the ends of the video over a montage of pictures of the dolls featured in it. I did a search for copyright free music on TH-cam itself and came across the music that I have been using from the start. The person who created the music is still actively creating copyright free music as well as other music which is copyrighted - thankfully they always tell listeners in the description box whether the music is copyright free or not as ask for an acknowledgment in the description of your video if using it. Hopefully this will mean that I'm safe from this kind of thing but guess time will tell. As for your dolly redressing - I loved all your girls in their new spring looks. It's amazing what changing out a wig can do to a doll, loving Ellowyne in her red wig. I really think the blonde on Neema works too. Grace has gone from Snow White to Esmeralda (Hunchback of Notre Dame) with her makeover!
I appreciate your kind words. It is something we should all be aware of. I am looking into alternatives such as having a musician friend compose something original for me. We shall see. I am so glad you enjoyed the dress up part too. The wigs really do change the look of the doll and the outfit. So much fun! It makes me feel good that I can share my challenges with friends like you in the doll community. ☺️

I would like to find another “signature” music but I will probably just select something from the free TH-cam selections unless I can get a friend to compose one for me! 🙏🤗. The Tonner dolls are neat as they are very high quality yet affordable. They can be treated as collectable fashion dolls but also they are very playable too without being too “precious”. I do have some copyright claims on some videos or shorts but because I am a small channel I didn’t care, I have now been more careful about the music I use! 💚💚💚 Best of luck with your channel….. I have had several issues with music on my channel, eventhough, I purchased music that said royalty free. It is tricky and even youtube approved music, from their site, has some how become an issue after years of use. I am truly considering composing my own stuff….. 😜

I had a couple questions if you ever do a Q&A? 1-What does your family and in particular your son think of your doll collecting in the past few years? 2-Were you born in the US? I feel like I hear a subtle British accent at times. Hi Haley, I have never been asked to do a Q&A, but I will start a list and maybe do one in future! For now, I am happy to answer your questions. My family has known about my love of dolls for a long time. The more recent collecting initially raised some eyebrows, but they are now supportive. My friends and coworkers also know about my collecting and my TH-cam channel. They may not understand my interest, but I don't always understand what they are into either. My son sees nothing wrong with it and likes to collect things as well, but not dolls. I was born in Canada and currently live on the West Coast in BC. My family heritage is English/Scottish. I don't recall any of my family ever having English accents, though. I did bring a Barbie to work one day and I did a video about that. I also took an American girl doll on a road trip and took pictures of her in public. I was a bit shy about it, but nobody said anything. My historical doll collection is almost complete. I will now be trying to find more rare ones from Pleasant company and with white bodies if I can find them. A tinsel hair Kirstin would be thrilling to find! Thanks for your interest in my channel. I love your profile picture, by the way. The owl is beautiful. Are you a bird watcher? I love birds too!

Oh my goodness! I have started to “come out of the doll closet” on my social media a bit here and there. I still get a bit embarrassed, but it is my true self. My fiancé is wonderful and he’s what really makes me feel comfortable with it all because he says absolutely nothing about it. 😆 If that’s what I like, then so be it. I hit the biggest Goodwill jackpot of all time last night. I found a perfect condition 2002 Pleasant Company Kaya in the box!!! Another guy had her, but I couldn’t help but approach him. After striking up a conversation and a little charm, he gave her to me. I’m thrilled! I am definitely a bird person and have been on owl watches before. I’ve seen two in the wild and interacted with a few others at a local bird sanctuary rehab.
