What helped me were the following : 1. CushionLab Cushion which I purchased from Amazon 2. Celebrex on an as needed basis with or without Tyelenol 3. Requesting/arranging for wheelchair assistance considering it was the Thanksgiving travel week

MRI showed bulging between L4-L5 years ago. Now dull pain lower back and down side of left calf and side of ankle. Is that sciatica pain? Would the exercises you show helps?
I am continuing with my exs and cold packs. Yes, they certainly give more relief than ‘heat’ Being quite active at home and also at my daughter’s house. Take short breaks and rest between my activities involving standing ( for cooking )
Thx for the info. I think for sure I have spinal stenosis. I say this because if I stand up straight and or walk, I get this major tingling numbness all down my right leg. As soon as I sit, it goes away. It is not necessarily painful but still debilitating and alarming. In addition to this, I do get acute pain, usually more in the evening that seems to be separate from this numbness when I walk or stand up straight. It is. Acute pain in my quad, calf and hip area. It come and goes with no rhyme or reason. It seems to be two different things. Maybe from the same thing. I don’t know. But the two issues act independently from each other
Hi Dr Amy. I have this tingling feeling on my left leg. Like there is a foreign object crawling inside my leg. I am very concerned. My X-ray results says I have sciatica. Please advise me what I have to do. Thanks so much.
It is possible as the nerves are all together in the neck and upper back as the spinal cord communicates with the brain. Wishing you the best on your healing journey!

Hi, I’m having such a sharp pain on my left hip and I’m 18 weeks pregnant. I would like to know which position I should sleep as I need to sleep on my left for best position for my baby. And how do i actually relief the pain ? Thanks
It is so hard when you have pain during pregnancy. You could try to use pillows to prop your legs and decrease weight on your hip of you need to sleep on your left side. Wishing you the best during your pregnancy.
I had a nice joyous time with family and friends. However, the problem is still not completely resolved. There is something else going on in my thigh and knee. We will be getting to the bottom of it shortly. Then let’s see.
