The most magical zelda games for me are A Link to The Past, Wind Waker, And The Minish Cap. This song embodies the feeling of playing the minish cap and exploring a new era of hyrule. ughgghhghhhh such happy feelings.

Not the only one. I beat Minish Cap 9 years ago on a GBA iOS emulator and it was so fun, I’m looking at it later in my 20’s and just miss the times when small games like this were everything back then, I redownloaded and put it on my kindle, but since I know Minish Cap like the back of my hand I use cheat codes to make the beginning interesting. I miss the items they had in Minish Cap, they all felt like they had some uniqueness to them even if it was the best they could do with GBA icon menus back then., I even miss the arbitrary “kinstone” piece fusion to get extra items and solve puzzles, it was nothing to most people but I liked that mechanic. Roc’s Cape grants you the ability to ‘jump’ later on in the game, but it also lets you go places the Pegasus Boots normally take you too. And for once the villain in a Zelda game isn’t Ganondorf so the villain in Minish Cap’s story feels fresher than the typical Ganon bad guy plot of most Zelda games

I can't say I ever connected with the Zelda series - but Minish Cap made me feel something. These woods, and the village made me think about life
