The Sagebrush Rebellion - A Gravel Bike Bikepacking Route in Southern Nevada and Utah

- For a few years I've wanted to make a bikepacking route from my home town in Nevada and through parts of Utah. Why? Because the desert is awesome. This was a fun route to plan. It has water, low desert, high desert, and solitude. This was the first route I've put together and even with some frustration from riding a gravel bike down awful roads I finally came up with a route that's 100 percent gravel bikeable, fun, and scenic.
This is a short video showing the route and some basics about it. I rode it on my Trek Checkpoint with 45mm tires with no issues. There's endless places to camp or if you prefer hotels in Caliente, St. George, and with a detour Beaver Dam. There's a few bike shop on route in St. George along with the St. George Running Center on Main St. for anything you need.

Thanks 🙏 for the route ! I’ll start suiting up the hardtail soon!
Heck yeah, man!
That is awesome. I’m setup for backpacking and moto camping on a dual sport. I haven’t thought seriously about bike packing but I probably should. I have a decent hard tail.
Moto camping sounds like a blast! You could totally do this route on a hard tail too.
I was wondering if there was a realistic way to gravel bike from Henderson to Saint George. You answered that question for me. Thanks! Will have to wait for fall maybe spring, but putting it on my list. Oh by the way I will ride it on my Trek Checkpoint
