I like how there are people who does these types of things and has a first person perspective because people who are not as skilled can watch and getting a taste of what it's like to do it so thank you.
@@Bdigital9482 basically squish in the rear=absorbs momentum=robs you of speed. Think of riding on a pump track, trying to pump the bike if you are on a full sus is usually harder as you end up just compressing the suspension.
I love how whenever I watch a video like this I always think “I can do that” then go to my nearest mountain biking area and can barely get through the easiest level they have
Bro, I have been riding for 17 years now, and I still have to walk those crazy trails first. It takes time. Never be discouraged, be safe and know your limits. Can't have fun if you are dead.

Modern bikes, tutorials, tons of videos from the bikepark you visit next are the explanation for me... Keeping up while getting older is a chellange of its own. Kepp on going - ride or die ;-)

The course is sculpted to perfection and anyone can glide right through if they fully commit and don’t let the side view intimidate them. Definitely helped me and my fiancé grow mentally and physically in the sport
@@trixonic6934 I am about 230 lbs of beef. I’m afraid gravity might not be as forgiving at the moment. I’m pretty athletic none the less. Getting old though 37. I’d liken it to the trampoline park when I’m with my kids. “Look dads doing a flip again, okay he over shot the trampoline by about a foot, okay now he rolled his ankle” As I have gotten older these injuries that use to take a few days to weeks to heal take months to years. I have to be very selective now on how I want to hurt myself.
I have to say I've never enjoyed a video as much as I enjoyed this video with these jumps I don't know where you put your GoPro but it is in the exact right spot for us to feel like we're riding the bike with you that was epic and I am so grateful thank you so much the sound that those tires make when they hit the ground and when they're in the air is really cool thank you so much

I used to ride A. LOT. until I broke my back in Baghdad when I was in the Marines. I’ve peddled around the neighborhood with my wife on a little beach cruiser we got but can’t handle the big stuff anymore. Downhill in New Zealand, trails in Prague and all the different XC in socal were my favorites. I had to follow for the bittersweet memories. Thanks for making me remember the past loves of my life ✌🏼

Yeah I just turned 35 last month and I’m sitting here watching this having not rode a bike in any athletic form in 20+ years wondering if I’d shit myself, break a bone or somehow not hospitalize myself if I tried riding something like that.

Nobody who’s lived the life I have would be ignorant enough to complain about the biggest blessing I’ve received so please don’t mistake me wondering if I’d shit my self while attempting a run like this for me “complaining about being old” because lord willing I’ll be turning 36 this month and that means I’ve been blessed with an extra 18 years of life that my 2 best friends weren’t blessed with having been murdered at 17-18 which is what my future looked like as a 17 year old. I thank God for every new day I see and I’m a highly athletic/active person I just don’t do many things that could cause broken bones or hurt my back more than it already is hurt. I ended up addicted to pain meds because my Drs recommended me start taking opiates I ended up getting myself off of them and have been opiate free for over 5 years now but because of my previous addiction I’m very very afraid of ending up making my back worse or giving myself an additional lifelong injury because my back pain is already tough to deal with without the use of painkillers so I can’t afford to cause myself any more pain and that’s the reason I’ll stay aware from extreme sports like this because I’d rather save my body to play with my grand children in the future not because I’m too old at 35.

My god this looks fun. It's way bigger but reminds me of the jumps that was built in the early 90s in my hometown. It got passed thru generations until it got demolished and a disc golf course built there.

Often times it's better to go faster that way you glide over the obstacles with some force. If you go too slow it's easier to crash
