My first time going "natural" I had the audacity to straighten my hair every week! Then was confused why my natural texture wouldn't curl, it looked horrible. My second time around now, no heat since 9/2017 (and that was only for a wedding). Also just last spring through winter 2019 I had setback with Vitamin D deficiency that caused me excessive shedding and thinning. Its under control now and my hair is finally growing again, but I leave my hair twisted between wash days, except I often take my twist down the day before.

I am getting late 80s to early 90s vibes from this look!(jazz slash poet inspired look or nah?? Lol)
    I loved your tips!
I also think that a over night pree poo or a 30 minute before washing pre poo is good as well. (Also a DIY refresher spray keeps hair good and mosturized.)

Hello sista, fellow Ghanian here! 1st of all you are beautiful, and your personality is hilarious! Help please; my hair has been at a stand still for over a year now. Before quarantine I was eating very healthy, dinking only water, little to no heat over the years, lots of protective styling moisturizing, sulfate free shampoo, deep conditioning, following all the "natural hair care" rules but my hair stopped growing over a year ago and idk how to pick it back up!
