Hello there. It actually took my case 6 months to receive my interview date after my biometrics. You will have another set of biometrics to do prior to your interview.

There is a difference between I 601 and I 601A , seek advice from an immigration lawyer because no case is the same it depends if you came into the U.S illegally and you stayed and you have never leave the US. If you came in with a Visa then you don't need one..

Approved meaning you can stay in the US and interview here, and denied meaning you have to interview in Juárez. Is that true? Why did you go to Cuidad Juárez when you had your husband and family/friends write letters?

Hi, What is the lead time after getting the 601a approved to getting the consular interview time? I had my biometric fingerprint last year July 5, 2019. And I got my 601a approval last week. I have paid all the Affidavit support fee and IV fee. I know I still have some remaining documents that I need to submit like IV application, civil documents, financial evidence, etc. How long will it take after I submit all these documents and get an interview time? Marina R my husband is going throught that.. one state is requiring him to get fingerprints for a “background check” and at our current state they won’t let him do fingerprints bc there is no valid ID 😔
People with questions should really speak with an attorney. There are numerous grounds of inadmissibility that may apply. There have been cases where people think that their only bar is unlawful presence, not knowing that another ground needs to be waived or cannot be and are stuck in their home country.

Yes, fixed everything and just went and got my finger prints and pictures taken. Thank the lord. Now just waiting on for whatever is next. I am hoping i won't have to go out to Juarez. My husband was recently diagnosed with cancer and well its been rough 😔

I was born in Juarez but I didn’t like living in Campestre so I told my papi to get me a house in Country Club in El Paso. And I didn’t need any type of waiver. My papi just got me the house and I moved in. It was on my 18th birthday so my dad also bought me a BMW. I was asked by my gardener how I was able to cross over to El Paso so easily and I replied using Reese Witherspoon’s line in Legally Blond: What, like it’s hard?

That's a great question. Unfortunately she is not responding to ppl. Ask the lawyer not to her who clearly she only knows what happened n her case.
It would depend on your home country, u need to check the visa bulletin for your country.

You should call the USCIS . Or your lawyer if you want more info . Because that sounds like a LONG TIME

Alejandra Centeno I’m not sure where you heard that but it’s incorrect. You don’t get an approval or denial until you go to your interview.

Attorneys are more than often useless. Currently you can find most answers you look for online FOR FREE.

You will receive an RFE {Request for Evidence}, make sure you have all the documents ready to go!
