yeah poe2 is not that good and people thinking they can trust and befriend corporations that have a legal obligation to maximize profit are stupid we don't talk about how much we love doordash or uber, but for some reason people think they have to love game devs...
i enjoyed poe2 campaign but i didnt enoy the end game that much and the campaign was so long i dont wann create a new class so as a single play thorough game i loved it but it needs some work for my flavor to keep me playing
I've watched tons of Poe 2 videos and there's some serious problems with end game even for top tier players, they did do a patch recently that fixed quite a few problems
1:28 Studio loves money more than anything. They wouldn't have made a live service game if they loved the fans. Your wallet is more interesting than anything.
I cant get behind POE2 after seeing the $449.99+ tax CAN. But ill give it a try as i was told by a buddy my cosmetic purchases would transfer. And they have a $35 version. The prices they had definitely took me aback. It is The Most expensive Game /bundle on Xbox. 3 of those and you should go play Star Citizen for that cost. Its an optional thing, but damn
I personally quickly got bored with PoE2. The main problem I have, is how they start with the gem upgrades of item right off the bat at level 1. You get gems, that can transform any grey item into gold, add stats here amd there so easily to items. This kinda destroys the whole loot spiral from the start. I rarly change items, because most aren‘t worth it. Just spend all gems right away, and if something transforms into something better, great, if not, sell it. So they twisted the finding loot to transforming loot. I feel like I‘m in a casino like this. Don‘t get me wrong, I think that system would work better, if A, it would start way later in the progress, and B, wouldn‘t be so common, so you get an Inventory full of transform gems that quickly. PoE totally destroyed one of the only good working feature, that Blizzard introduced in the genre… And I‘m playing this for about 50 hours now, and it doesn‘t get any better.
Yeah... Miss times when AAA blockbusters had cinematic vibes, cutscenes etc. Only chinese, and indie devs doing this sometimes, like Bright Memory, it looks and plays so well

my theory, one indicator showing how successful an ip or franchise is, is the quality and quantity of nsfw 18+ fanfics and fanarts. and then vice versa, the continuing of those fanfics and fanarts support the survival of that ip or franchise. quick examples are wow and overwatch, the number you can find in r34 is crazy. examples of the reverse are concord and da veilguard, almost none lol interestingly, example of exception is poe, not that many :p

Yea there's probably some correlation between IP's popularity and "quality and quantity of nsfw 18+ fanfics and fanarts", but is it high? Most likely not. You gave one example, another one can be Helldivers. Is there some nsfw fanart of that IP? Yes. But not as much that would indicate its popularity. The correlation lies more in the content of the IP (like number, popularity and "hotness" of female characters) than in the popularity of the said IP. So until you prove your hypothesis, you're just a gooner.
