I assume you're not using the Wii U Gamepad 's Boost Mode in this run? By tapping a flying squirrel in 1-1, it's possible to obtain a Super Acorn _without_ killing the enemy.
I think he can also use the Boost Mode to stop the bullet bills in "Para Beetle Parade". Im not sure, but I think he can skip the part or stop the bullet bills.

Tunnel tower i have a solution multiplayer for the coin A makes you a bubble but you'll still keep acorn (I think I might of messed something cause I haven't played it in a while and the first level you can tap the acorn squirrel with the game pad so I hope this come in handy)
With the boss fights, try ground pounding. This allows you to defeat the boss in two hits, and ground pounding hits score the same as regular hits, so you can reduce the boss points by 2000.
could you do cheep chomp chase as small luigi, doing the previous bits as nabbit, then go back to get the acorn suit? I think it would save 50 points overall
@@itsfruit The problem isn't not getting hit, it's that big Luigi's hitbox makes it required to get a coin at the start and nabbit has the same hitbox as big Luigi so that wouldn't help
While it may be nightmarish and require a full reroute, could you use the fact that with 4 people you could carry and throw each other in ways where the acorn suit's 1,200 points could be reduced?

Using boost mode, it's actually possible to beat the 1-2 secret exit without using the acorn suit. Go through 1-1 as normal, and then use Nabbit in 1-2 so that you can ground pound through the block to reach the secret exit. Using boost mode, you can make it to the secret exit and dodge all of the coins in the cave. Boost mode in general just covers a world of hurt in this game.
Sooo I'm not a mario player, I stumbled upon this by chances on suggested videos and after seeing a bunch of your videos I must say that you're really good. In past Mario games, hasn't dying or Game Overing halved your score? Would it be possible to do so at the last level before completing it to lower your score? Especially given the 0-point giving (But not pointless!) ways of getting an Acorn Suit? Or are we focusing more on fewest points accumulated rather than the lowest score that you end the game with?
Question: Is it possible to hit the bosses with a fire flower power up without getting points? Because if so investing 2000 points to get the flower and a new acorn might be worth it. Note: I never played the game, so I don't know if this would work, just feel like in older games you didn't get points for this?
Couldn't you make blocks appear in front of the Banzai Bills that destroy 4 bricks with the gamepad's touchscreen? If that stops them without giving you points then that's 40 points saved.

You can't get an Acorn Suit from that Mushroom house. You can only get a star or a 1-up, neither of which really doing anything for us.
