After their show in Dublin, Noel sticks to his word and lets the band continue without him back into Europe. I can see why Noel would do this but considering the two allegedly shook hands during that gig, you’d think the majority of bad blood had gone away. But I suppose Noel wanted to keep his distance for now, which was probably a good idea. Either way, the band are here at the Eurockéennes Festival, which they played back in 1995. Matt Deighton returns to fill in the gap of rhythm guitarist and the lads continue as normal. Going from lead to rhythm to lead again must’ve been a bit strange but Gem does play well, especially in the first half of the gig. Liam is unfortunately sounding pretty uninspired by this point. Songs like Who Feels Love, Shakermaker and Wonderwall all have either moments of instability or just rushing phrasings. Like Berlin earlier in the leg, it just sounds like he isn’t that bothered to be there. The rest of the band put on a decent performance, but compared to the gigs in the U.K, we find the majority of the gigs without Noel are still missing something, especially when Liam isn’t on form like he is tonight.

Add Shaker Maker (List of Tunes Not to play with or without Noel) For Me it's had its time! It was Great in 94-95 but Again They could've Played Whatever they wanted coz Noel's not there! Imagine Liam singing Step Out etc
