I got my Willow Go today and I love it!!! My daughter is almost 10 months and I regret not getting it sooner. Definitely a game changer. I pumped 5 oz after nursing my baby.
This was SUPER helpful. I used the Sprectra my first time around and it was a lot of cleaning and not being able to move with a moving baby. This time around, I definitely want the Willow 3.0 because of the freedom to move without spills!! I was gonna go for the Willow Go because of the price but because of your detailed review, I definitely think 3.0 is better!! Thank you again soooo much!!
Thank you so much! I had my first as a teen & used Medela. Great pump, but the tubing was so unsanitary to me. Plus, breast feeding didn't last long with her. (NICU baby that wouldn't latch and a very sad mom as a result) Im 24 now, and expecting my second. I work in a hospital plus, and am a nursing student. Still not a lot of moms to talk to or look at their pumps at my age. Thank God for Target having models out, I decided on the Willow. Your video was so helpful in choosing between the models! I hate how loud the Willow 3 is, but it seems to be worth it!
I just started using my Willow Gen 3 last Thursday. My daughter was just born 3/19. I was using the Motif Luna but now I'm exclusively using Willow. My supply is through the roof and with the containers I am in love with Willow
I think it is work noting that you cannot select the mode with the regular Willow pump. It stays I stimulation mode until I registers enough output then automatically goes into expression, but you can't change it earlier. I find this very frustrating and is the main reason I have preferred the Elvie. I really want to try the Willow Go! It'll definitely be out of pocket so praying for a code!!
I'm so conflicted. I was gonna go with the elvie stride but as a mom of 3 who exclusively pumped with all of them for a year... and with my 4th otw I do not want cords for a portable pump. But I too neeeeed the suction and the ability to move freely. I habe heard horror stories about tons of women's nipples not being compatible with the willow... However, Idk which one to get. The willow go or willow or just the elvie original. The willow 3.0 kind of sounds like a fax machine or something lol. I'm more conflicted than ever. Ha
I had the worst experience with willow gen 3. My nipples were RIP. Mainly because the sizing guide they provided was off and I was using the wrong size 😖 I’m willing to try the willow go since the suction is not as powerful as willow 3.0. But I’m still scared 😩 having flashbacks as we speak lol
How would you compare your pump sessions with each? Even with the go on 9, was it enough to express the same amount of milk as you usually get? And in the same time?
I am so excited for this! I was a surrogate and pumped for my surrotwins and used the willow! I loved it but the suction was soooo strong, way too strong for me on the first level! I still have it but am considering the new one for our next kiddo since the suction isn’t as strong! Good luck on your journey to kiddo number 3! This will be my second keeper but 3 pregnancy and nursing/pumping journey!
@@brisabolanos6215 i have the elvie which I like but HATE that I am limited in moving. So i am thinking about getting the willow but not sure if I will be disappointed. Why did you like the elvie better?
@@zairasotelo1990 So just to give you an idea after my initial pump in the morning I pump about 6oz per session pretty consistently with my regular pump and the same with the Elvie when I tried using the willow I was pumping only about 1.5-2 oz each time and I was even pumping for longer times. I feel like it’s way quieter than the willow and somewhat smaller as well. I’m a nurse so it’s impossible to stop what I’m doing to go pump 3 times during my shift so while yes I am slightly limited I don’t find it an issue I still change patients, start IV’s, etc all while pumping and no one notices. Plus I HATE pumping into the bags let’s say I pump 3oz on each side that’s how I have to freeze the bags I can’t put them together into one it’s a waste of bags and they’re not cheap. So it would drive me crazy if I had a bunch or 2-3 oz bags in the freezer which would mean I would have to defrost 2-3 bags each feed and again they’re not cheap. Plus you get a bunch of air in the bag with the flip to finish and I would always spill milk no matter how many time I tried or how many video I watched on how to do it correctly. Also with the willow you don’t have control on when you switch to expression mode with the Elvie you do. Sometimes the willow gets stuck in stimulation mode. I also haven’t had any major issues with leaking, I’ve only leaked once and it was when I was brushing my teeth at night and leaned forward all the way to spit when the pumps were full I forgot I was pumping. So that’s what I try to remember is to go horizontal to the floor as long as I don’t bend over all the way I don’t leak. Sorry I know it’s a lot hope that helps
I’ve had the Willow 3.0 twice ! Each time, my hubs cracked !!! Super annoying and made me never want to use them again. Hoping the Willow go doesn’t cause so much hassle for me .
Thank you so much for this video! I go back to work the end of this month (a few days in office, a few days at home), and have been so curious if the willow makes sense for me.
I want to try willow go. I have Elvie Pump and it's a nightmare. It has leaks everywhere. the battery runs out after using it 3 times it makes noise and cleaning the parts is a nightmare and she doesn't express all my milk i always have to use my spectra
Is your Elvie still under warranty? If it is making much noise, something is probably wrong with your pump because the Elvie is shockingly quiet. I have used about a dozen pumps and the Elvie is hands down the quietest.
I am sooo excited that there is an insurance-covered one now! I was wondering if they were going to come out with one as Elvie Stride did. I was just comparing Spectras. I just got my Elvie out of pocket but I thought It would be good to have a Spectra or Medela (insurance covered) one to help build milk supply. Maybe use the Spectra at night? I'm at a loss. And now I see the Willow Go with the capabilities of 7 oz and that is singing to me!
I really want to use this!!! My lactation consultant told me not to get it because I Have such large breasts and that women were reporting breast tissue damage from this pump. Even getting blood in their milk. Have you heard of this? I haven’t found much on this but have seen some negative reviews. I just really want to use this and have it work 🙏🏼🙌🏼
Wow ! I’m not a lactation consultant, but yours seems that she has her own agenda. There’s no way she would know how you would react to this pump, she seems to have a biased opinion
I've been reading similar reviews. Many women are reporting breast damage. I saw those reviews on Amazon and in my local private Mama support groups. I don't think your lactation consult has a "personal agenda" like this TH-camr suggests. I think your consultant is just listening to women. Honestly- I have to wonder why this TH-camr had such an aggressive thing to say about your consult. Seems defensive of her.
I have the willow 3.0 and am having difficulty getting my milk to go into the bag so you have any idea or suggestions? I usually try to pump and when the milk doesn’t come out I have to switch to my Lansinoh 2.0 which is a wired pump
Do you wash willow go breast pump every each used? Some ppeople said don't wash until the end of the . After wash used put them back to the zip lock back. Thank you
Which one of them is easier to clean? I'm so unsure which portable pump to get. I work on a construction site with no clean water to wash pump parts during the day, which makes me think that the bags could be handy...
Hi, I don't know how to speak English but I use a translator… could you help me tell me which one sucks better??? And which one is quieter? but above all I am interested in knowing which sucks more since I do not have much milk and I would like it to help me produce more milk
Awesome! Thank you! Approx how long were you pumping when the milk was in it towards the end of the video? Also, it is fairly easy to pour it into the bottle without spilling?
Output differs for everyone . My usual pump time is 15-20 mins . But some people are low producers and others are higher . Yes it’s easy to pour out after first try . I spilled some my first try
So if ur using the willow go on max and the willow 3.0 on level 1. Then the cycle speed for ur willow 3 is a lot faster than the willow go right? How many cycles per minute are u getting with willow go? I think the cycle speed for willow 3.0 at level 1 is 90 cpm

You are able to control the levels on the app with the Willow go
Extremely helpful video I thought my pump was broken because I could not feel any suction! Thank you!

If it works for you so very worth it girl ! I promise
I wish the willow go had a plug for the top so you could be completely mobile.
Can you tape it? Or would that prevent the suction?
Can you compare this to the elvie stride? Thank you! I love your content!
Yes please!! I was going to ask the same.

You didn’t discuss how to clean them

I’m willing to try the willow go since the suction is not as powerful as willow 3.0. But I’m still scared 😩 having flashbacks as we speak lol
And the willow go comes with two chargers where as the willow 3.0 if you want a second one to charge both at once it’s another $29.99 for a cord.
Correct
Do either of the apps show battery life?
how can you clean the milk container? And do u have to size up on nursing bra?
Does the Willow Go pause when its full like the Willow 3.0? I've looked everywhere and can't find an answer.
No it doesn’t
How would you compare your pump sessions with each? Even with the go on 9, was it enough to express the same amount of milk as you usually get? And in the same time?
You said you can pump in any position with the 3.0 ..with the bags or containers?? Or it doesn't matter ??
Where's the coupon code for the Willow 3.0? Did it expire and so you had to remove it? There's nothing in the description box.
I am so excited for this! I was a surrogate and pumped for my surrotwins and used the willow! I loved it but the suction was soooo strong, way too strong for me on the first level! Thank you for the review..can you use the fridge Method with Willow go?
Awesome! I purchased my Willow @my local SuperTarget for 50%. Cant wait to try it!! ❤
Don’t you love it when things work out like that ! Hope you enjoy it !
I heard the motor for the willow go dies and you have to constantly replace it. would you say this is constant problem?
Can you make a comparison video of this vs Elvie? I’m torn between getting this or the Elvie!
Get elvie lol
I have used both and 100% love the Elvie!! A few of my coworkers prefer the Elvie over the willow as well

Willow Go only has 5 parts to clean.

You bet!

Coming your way as well
I'm confused. I thought these were supposed to be quiet so you could wear them at work etc! These were both loud!
They absolutely are. Everyone knows when I’m pumping because if the noise
Quieter than most standard pumps but it’s still gonna make noise
They're quiet , just not silent. I love my willow
Curious would you prefer the Go or the 3.0?
I think they both serve 2 different purposes given their different suction patterns
