  • There is a great awakening coming, and just like Joseph, the homesteading and preparedness movement are a major part of it. Many of you have asked me to put this series of IG stories into an actual video. Don't pay attention to the word captions on the screen, just listen.

Finally, someone talking about some real issues with the church here. I appreciated this video and just came across this channel. The church needs to wake up and create more of a self-reliant system so we are outside of the beast system as much as possible.

I’m seeing so many people that just want to throw down “Jesus is coming back soon, could be today” card. Is he coming back, YES! but we need to prepare ourselves in case he doesn’t just rapture us out immediately. Like we actually have to go through something. To me it’s denial. People do need to wake up and get prepared. It’s like you said our grandparents and great grandparents went through hard times. It’s only smart to be prepared as best as you can. 😊

She prepares her food in the summer And brings in her provisions [of food for the winter] in the harvest. Proverbs 6:8. Why wouldn’t we always prepare for all seasons and times.

I have 0 background in growing food. For the last 3 years I have been trying, adding a little more each year. It seems overwhelming, but I know it's very important for our future.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints have and do teach & encourage for many many years for people to have 1years supply of food, clothing, water & money saved. They see spiritual & physical.

Rationing happened during C Ovid shutdown. No where near the level of WW2 rationing but it did happen. 😢

I have been saying for decades that I do not understand why churches don't have gardens! Most churches have property and a food pantry. Why not grow food on that property to add fresh food to the pantry? Now it is a must! I've spoken to pastors at churches and don't ever get a good answer as to why not. I've even offered to help start the garden and run it, but get the run around. Churches now should have the gardens on the church property and use it to teach the attendees how to garden on their own properties. They could provide seeds, or even days to get groups together to help people start their backyard gardens. It is so frustrating. Right up there with, "I just preach Jesus". Meaning "I'm not warning my flock about what is coming." Makes me angry!

I am at a total loss myself. Can't wrap my head around why churches would just be interested in collecting a financial offering... but there are different ways we can work together in the church, towards uplifting one another ...such as learning basic life skills or a trade or working together on projects such as growing food and animals and learning self-sustainability so as to not be so dependent on the world beast system. I find myself getting angry recently that the church is just teaching spiritual preparedness but not physical preparedness which is practical and simple living so we have enough resources to assist one another in the difficult times and help us endure till the end.

Amen, lady!! So important! God helps those who help themselves!! Be prepared, so we can minister to those who ARE afraid, and don't know who will help or save them, and this can allow us to be Christ's light in dark times!!

You say when strangers come and ask you for food, and you say no, because you have other people to feed, how would you handle it if they broke down your doors and just took it? When our borders are wide open, that can certainly happen. I get confused that homesteaders think that preparing and storing up food will save us, because we prepared. Respecting homes and property is already a huge issue. I mean, just think about the civil war and how the south ( not just the south) suffered. Homes, businesses, and yes, churches were burned down, or taken. Animals and people killed, crops burned. What does the church do in that case? I am a Christian, and I do prepare, because I love feeding my family good food, not out of fear, but I still don't think that people get what will actually happen if all this gloom and doom everyone speaks of, comes true in our time. FOOD won't save us. Your thoughts, Amy?

    • @TheFewellHomestead

First, I believe in Divine protection for many. God will always make sure His people are cared for.
Second, the point is, how can we taken the burden off of our communities now so that it doesn’t come to mass casualty and chaos. The more people that have a semi-secure food system, the less people that are frantic. That’s the entire point of this video. Community minded, not self minded.
Third, we have the second amendment for a reason.
