Miyazakis whole story telling shtick is to leave things super vague and unclear. The less interaction and dialog given, the more there is to speculate on how this character is as a person. This dialog that's cut here, gives me a very different impression of her than what I got from her with how she is in-game. I like the in-game impression I got more than this one. She seems more ominous and mysterious in nature. The lack of dialog also gives me more of a silent badass impression. Something that I think suits maria well with how she fights. It also made her seem more serious and down to business. Cut the shit, she knows why you're here and what you being here accomplishes. So she knows what she has to do, what she must do. So me personally I'm fine that they cut a lot of dialog.
@@batterychugger I never said I like the dark souls style of storytelling and characterization. I prefer the NieR series style of story telling and characterization. But vague is what Miyazaki does. Hate it? Take it up with him.
"my hunter" 😳
I was like hold up
I was like hold up
@@trash6985 sorry I don’t know why it happened twice
Yeah, She likes me 😏.
I was like hold up
I found this woman like 3 days ago and I've been thinking about her non stop
Welcome to the club lol
yup
update:
Maria grind is going strongly she's my wife
ANOTHER update: It's been 8 months and I am STILL thriving.
SAME 😭❤️
Her voice is like tranquility incarnate.
She even breathes with an accent
I’ve never played Bloodborne, yet I find myself liking this character.
Time to go watch a (likely depressing) lore video.
Thank you for uploading this. I was hoping that someone would find the attack/pain voice lines just a few days ago. What a coincidence!
🤍
1:57 for my own personal use
Why does she sound so young
Because she is?
because she killed herself , she’s effectively forever in a younger state than the rest of the hunters
because she died young
She looks young too, she’s probably like 19
I don't know why FromSoft keep cutting dialogue, it ultimately makes the games shallower
