@@brecibros2469 actually there are humans within the Banished The Banished are a meritocracy, meaning that people who could do their jobs well, regardless of race, were welcome To explain the humans, basically criminals from colonies that weren’t destroyed by the covenant, or even whole colonies themselves essentially became hubs for criminals and aliens post covenant, the Banished would recruit from these worlds and therefore it’s highly likely there are humans within the Banished (Google says there definitely are but I don’t personally know any media that specifically says it yet) It could be interesting to have humans fight for the Banished, but I think they’d need to work on different animations than the marines have, as well as better human AI for that

In atriox’s fight against Red Team, you can tell how cunning and smart he fights. First, he ambushes out of the shadows catching the Spartans by surprise. Then he quickly separates the Spartans, only ever really fighting one of them at a time. And when Douglas points the 8-gauge shotgun at atriox at point blank range, the one weapon that the Spartans have that could actually gravely injure atriox, atriox is quick to swat the weapon away before it can be used.

Spartans in their armour more of less weigh about 1 or 2 tons and he picked up one by tge neck when he fought red team and tossed chief around like a rag doll and picked him up with one arm . Also one of the aumentations the Spartans 2s have is titanium coding there bones or something making there bones damn near unbreakable. So not only can he lift and throw Spartans like it's nothing he can break their bones and armour with just his hands.
The galaxy has never known a threat like Atriox. Even Cortana with her Promethean army and Guardians did not stand a chance against him and the Banished. Every challenge that was thrown at him was overcome. He is nothing short of the brute equivalent of the master chief maybe even his superior.

I want a Halo game where you play as Atriox. Imagine fighting in Covenant cities on their worlds and amassing a fleet to start your own empire then fighting against Master Chief.
Never played Halo Wars, but after playing Infinite, I can see that Atriox is the biggest threat ever. And he’s not even a bad guy in my eyes. He and Chief might even have been friends if he gave humans a chance. He’s the Ragnar Lothbrok for the Brutes. I hope he doesn’t die in some overpowered boss fight, or some dumb cutscene like they did for a FORERUNNER.
Fun fact about that human thing he does have human agents in the banished. He does not care what species you are as long as you can prove your worth you can work for him.
The thing that I feel really shows the threat he poses is that he outwitted Cortana, even left her speechless and devastated. The only one I can think of who has done anything comparable to that is the Gravemind, as far as I can remember.

In master chief’s fight with atriox compared with red team’s, you can really see the difference between Red Team’s Mk IV Gen I Mjolnir armor and chief’s Gen III armor. Atriox lands a crushing uppercut on Douglas, knocking his helmet clean off and deeply gouging his unshielded breast plate then proceeding to crush Douglas’ shoulder and armor with his bare hand. As for chief, Atriox’s opening blow onto chief’s shoulder is held by the armor’s shields. It then takes a second body blow of atriox’s mace to drop chief’s shields and even then it doesn’t leave a visible gouge in the armor like it did Douglas’s. Chief still got wrecked but his armor held up much better than douglas’s at least which ended up saving chief’s life. If chief’s armor had been compromised like that if Douglas’s, chief would not have been able to survive the 6 months adrift in space before The Pilot found him.
I've heard that Brute muscles are like literal interwoven strands of steel, and this mofo even has his own power armour, so... yeah, pretty dang stronk.
Theres one thing that these cinematics do that the games almost never do (save for Infinite) and that is showing off the sheer weight of the Mjolnir suits. Here, even the camera shake and the sound of Douglas' helmet falling on the floor show just how heavy he and his suit is never mind just his helmet.
Atriox is the perfect villain. Stays with the original lore, no bs didact a forerunner trap for 100,000 years. No Cortana breaking bad. Just a ruthless strong Brute just like Tartarus but much smarter and with better tech. I just wish they explained his story better, maybe mentioned he was related to Tartarus or he is part of a stronger type race from the brutes. Who happens to be smarter and got his hands on forerunner tech and gave him the edge. His fight vs red team is just amazing
I think they are from 2 very different clans, which explains why Tartarus is a fanatic and much more stubborn while Atriox is adaptable and smarter/more cunning. Also when facing Sangheili Silent Shadows when they come to assasinate him, Atriox manages to convert them to the Banished, and one of the things he mentions is that he "is/am no Tartarus, a crazed fanatic, I am his remedy" or smthg like that. Atriox clearly doesn't agree with Tartarus' blind, fanatic and petty desires ;all Tartarus wanted was for Brutes to be the blind but high ranking guardians to the prophets, while Atriox is fighting for smthg bigger. It's better explained in a Halo comic, can't remember the name. Also, Atriox and his band collect and pillage any and all good tech they can find (Human, Covenant, Forerunners), he even has a UNSC groin armor, he dont give a fuck long as it's useful xD
I wish they included the four silent shadow that join Atriox during the Great Schism , although I know Jega Rdomnai is ex-silent shadow, it’s unlikely he was the one of the four.
This dude is a beast - Survived numerous suicide missions - Was a former member of the Bloodstars, an elite squad of Jiralhanae tasked to hunt and kill Spartans - Rebelled against the Covenant and survived, and only fought battles against them which he knew he will win - Managed to recruit the FREAKING Silent Shadow to the Banished - Rejected all types of old hatreds and traditions - Manhandled 3 Spartan IIs and later the Master Chief himself - Destroyed the Infinity in 4 minutes - Took over Zeta Halo and cornered Cortana when she was almost like a freaking goddess - Flexed about defeating Master Chief to Cortana - Survived an explosion which destroyed an entire part of Zeta Halo

Not gonna lie... I would have enjoyed fighting Atriox more than I enjoyed fighting Escharum. Escharum was kinda cool but Atriox actually scared me, and gave Chief a run for his money.
Here's what I think will happen: After Atriox learns of Escharum's death and the fact that the Master Chief did it. Atriox is gonna be even more pissed and will kill someone close to Chief out of revenge for the death of his former mentor and possible father-figure, maybe Fernando or someone from Blue Team. To raise the emotional stakes between Chief and Atriox which will lead into their final fight.
I don't get why they've changed the voice of Atriox in Infinite. The voice of Atrion in Halo wars 2 was way more menacing instead of the rumbling voice in Infinite. Also a small change would make him look better. Change the white of his eyes to black, just like Tremonious and in Halo wars 2.
Would be interesting if Atriox was playable in the future, but his gameplay should be different from Chief, and not just a "Chief 2.0". Maybe give him a "lunge" instead of the grapple hook, give him more armor, "glory kills" like Doom and make his mace like the chainsaw/sword from Doom: Eternal instead of just a switchable weapon.

Atriox better not be another Jul Mdama or Didact. I don't want to see him killed off or defeated so easily. And I DON'T want his story to end in a damn comic book or at the beginning of the game or just behind the scenes like Cortana. This guy needs to be a solid part of the Halo universe, like Arbiter and chief. He's a force to be reckoned with.
I know it's been driven into the ground, but Atriox taking on the entirety of Red team [Even with their outdated gear] is a clear demonstration of his skill and expertise. He took on THREE Spartan II's in their prime and left them retreating and one SEVERELY WOUNDED. The Successfully augmented Spartan II's were the most formidable thing on the Battlefield and THREE of them should be more than equipped to deal with any threat, but Atriox dispatches them within a single minute. Sure, he didn't kill them but he left them fleeing.

I mean Tartarus was great, he was just blinded by Covenant beliefs that made him vulnerable. But Atriox is a rebel, a genius in battle, he dont care about rules.
I never took Brutes seriously since I first saw them looking like hornless bulls you gotta kill on sight in Halo 3 and ODST, in which, in my opinion, weren't practically appealing to see them as worthy opponents [or apes], they barely make any major scene ever since Tartarus was killed, I just see them being mostly big dumb souped up meatheads who follow The Prophet's orders, but since Halo Wars 2, we see these revamped beasts getting to be on top of the food chain that they deserved for so long and with a major Brute character being the radiating symbol of their badassery and maintaining it for two games straight so far, these Brutes are even making kickass entrances to remind you that they're not the guys we've seen back in the 360 days.

However they've also have an internal thermal Nuke (Like the Predators), That can decimate all forms of known life. There's NO WAY ATRIOX can even survive that.

I was happy to see him not get as much plot armor in the game. Atriox should have wiped the floor with him and he literally did.

When i was playing infinite for the first time i never expected to see chief get rag dolled. It was such a great campaign

Not just titanium, but an alloy made similar to navy armor that can take MAC rounds flying pass 2% the speed of light. Titanium A is hard stuff.

Atriox is alive in Halo infinite end credits.
In master chief’s fight with atriox compared with red team’s, you can really see the difference between Red Team’s Mk IV Gen I Mjolnir armor and chief’s Gen III armor.
Atriox lands a crushing uppercut on Douglas, knocking his helmet clean off and deeply gouging his unshielded breast plate then proceeding to crush Douglas’ shoulder and armor with his bare hand.
As for chief, Atriox’s opening blow onto chief’s shoulder is held by the armor’s shields. It then takes a second body blow of atriox’s mace to drop chief’s shields and even then it doesn’t leave a visible gouge in the armor like it did Douglas’s.
Chief still got wrecked but his armor held up much better than douglas’s at least which ended up saving chief’s life. If chief’s armor had been compromised like that if Douglas’s, chief would not have been able to survive the 6 months adrift in space before The Pilot found him.

Theres one thing that these cinematics do that the games almost never do (save for Infinite) and that is showing off the sheer weight of the Mjolnir suits. Here, even the camera shake and the sound of Douglas' helmet falling on the floor show just how heavy he and his suit is never mind just his helmet.
Im not gonna lie when he said yes run little demons that still give me chills and I had watched it for the 50th time.

I think they are from 2 very different clans, which explains why Tartarus is a fanatic and much more stubborn while Atriox is adaptable and smarter/more cunning. Also when facing Sangheili Silent Shadows when they come to assasinate him, Atriox manages to convert them to the Banished, and one of the things he mentions is that he "is/am no Tartarus, a crazed fanatic, I am his remedy" or smthg like that. Atriox clearly doesn't agree with Tartarus' blind, fanatic and petty desires ;all Tartarus wanted was for Brutes to be the blind but high ranking guardians to the prophets, while Atriox is fighting for smthg bigger. It's better explained in a Halo comic, can't remember the name.
Also, Atriox and his band collect and pillage any and all good tech they can find (Human, Covenant, Forerunners), he even has a UNSC groin armor, he dont give a fuck long as it's useful xD

I wish they included the four silent shadow that join Atriox during the Great Schism , although I know Jega Rdomnai is ex-silent shadow, it’s unlikely he was the one of the four.

Not gonna lie... I would have enjoyed fighting Atriox more than I enjoyed fighting Escharum. Escharum was kinda cool but Atriox actually scared me, and gave Chief a run for his money.

After Atriox learns of Escharum's death and the fact that the Master Chief did it. Atriox is gonna be even more pissed and will kill someone close to Chief out of revenge for the death of his former mentor and possible father-figure, maybe Fernando or someone from Blue Team.
To raise the emotional stakes between Chief and Atriox which will lead into their final fight.

I don't get why they've changed the voice of Atriox in Infinite. The voice of Atrion in Halo wars 2 was way more menacing instead of the rumbling voice in Infinite.
Also a small change would make him look better. Change the white of his eyes to black, just like Tremonious and in Halo wars 2.

Well each and every one if those scenes was pure cinematic and creature design PERFECTION!
Would be interesting if Atriox was playable in the future, but his gameplay should be different from Chief, and not just a "Chief 2.0".
Maybe give him a "lunge" instead of the grapple hook, give him more armor, "glory kills" like Doom and make his mace like the chainsaw/sword from Doom: Eternal instead of just a switchable weapon.

And I DON'T want his story to end in a damn comic book or at the beginning of the game or just behind the scenes like Cortana. This guy needs to be a solid part of the Halo universe, like Arbiter and chief. He's a force to be reckoned with.

I don’t know why they didn’t use THESE banished bruise designs in Halo Infinite. They look so bad ass.
I mean it's hard to differentiate ranks if all their armor have the exact same coloration.
I know it's been driven into the ground, but Atriox taking on the entirety of Red team [Even with their outdated gear] is a clear demonstration of his skill and expertise.
He took on THREE Spartan II's in their prime and left them retreating and one SEVERELY WOUNDED.
The Successfully augmented Spartan II's were the most formidable thing on the Battlefield and THREE of them should be more than equipped to deal with any threat, but Atriox dispatches them within a single minute. Sure, he didn't kill them but he left them fleeing.

I never took Brutes seriously since I first saw them looking like hornless bulls you gotta kill on sight in Halo 3 and ODST, in which, in my opinion, weren't practically appealing to see them as worthy opponents [or apes], they barely make any major scene ever since Tartarus was killed, I just see them being mostly big dumb souped up meatheads who follow The Prophet's orders, but since Halo Wars 2, we see these revamped beasts getting to be on top of the food chain that they deserved for so long and with a major Brute character being the radiating symbol of their badassery and maintaining it for two games straight so far, these Brutes are even making kickass entrances to remind you that they're not the guys we've seen back in the 360 days.

She’s really d riding here the covenants main goal was to light the rings and begin their delusional path towards the “great journey” it wasn’t annihilating species as a main course of action they were driven by religion and also most of their resources would’ve been focused on finding artifacts and obtaining information on the forerunners and their archaic tech. If the full might of the covenant was unleashed on atrioxs little mercenary band at the time they’d stand no chance it be like pinning a bear up against a lone wolf.

It’s hilarious how Spartans think they can take on all Elites and Brutes in hand to hand combat like they’re invincible. Some elites and brutes don’t play and will always be superior to Spartans.
MrCreeper069 - There are some Spartans that are specifically made for one way suicide missions. They are way stronger and more Armored than 117. However they've also have an internal thermal Nuke (Like the Predators), That can decimate all forms of known life. There's NO WAY ATRIOX can even survive that.
@@droneant7602 Yeah in the cutscenes like the spartan drop in Halo 5. Speaking of Halo 5 I felt like the Elites were toned down so much that they resembled the standard Covenant fodder. Halo CE and Reach Elites were so badass.
imagine the chief & arbiter join forces to elimate atriox in the next game - but atriox kills the arbiter ... i feel as though atriox has to kill at least 3 main characters before he can be eliminated - as he would also have to unleash some encapsulated forerunner warriors to be the next antagonist for the following titles

@@misledsine8242 Atriox previously toyed with three other Spartan IIs at the same time. Why do you think he would have an issue fighting one Spartan II. Master Chief is strong and smart, but he's also older than the Spartan IIs in Halo Wars II who have been in cryosleep for the majority of their existence. Even Master Chief isn't invincible. I was happy to see him not get as much plot armor in the game. Atriox should have wiped the floor with him and he literally did.
