Didn't realise that. Shame - these are well made training swords.

It was heavy when I first bought it but then it became lighter the more I used it

Don't use these things for sparring. They are closer to baseball bats than swords and totally harmful regarding to thrusting strikes.
This thing is just good enough to smash things in your backyard.
Do not use it to play with something else tbat pumkins or tin cans
You should look for Rawlings synthetics or Black Fencer. These are real training swords, looking great and way mor safer.

I appreciate the comment, but I disagree. I've used these for sparing for a long time and would reccomend them.

@@Medieval_Mayhem Good for you then. As long as your partners an you are having fun, that's what matters.
Was using the hand and a half version myself but then started to use a Rawlings as i said, maybe the one handed version was better.
Take care and keep fightin' and making nice vids.

@@Medieval_Mayhem That thing came pointy to me .
I have blunted the point .
I would something just Uses this for soft Partner Training not for sparring .
That thing is Much more Brutal as a Billy club .

@@Medieval_Mayhem What these guys are saying is that there are safer options on the market for sparring, like blackfencer synthetic swords for example, which have better flex and more realistic weight distribution.

@@hschan5976 I just gave my review of this item. For what I use it for and how I use it - it works fine. Acknowledged, there are others out there - but I've not been able to source any of those in Australia.
