Should have saved your money from that crap armour and got a better sword. Also, wtf.. you should have made mincemeat out of that tree. Frankly made us sword dudes look a little dweeby. Not sure if that was your intention or not, but we can do that for ourselves without your help thank you very much.
I honestly didn’t know that ‘sword dudes’ was a thing but a couple hits on this bowl and it became totally logical. I’ve only graduated to Kukri dude so what the hell do I know?
Clearly this man has trouble recognizing true Alpha energy when he sees it. King Arthur himself would tremble before this man simply from the pure Chad energy this man radiates. He doesn't even need the armor because his aura of excellence naturally scares blades away from touching him for fear of them imploding upon making contact with him. The armor isn't to protect him. It's to protect us by trapping him inside.
My first knife was a Christmas present to myself. A Cold Steel Mini Tanto in 1996, since discontinued. It was the single knife of my collection for 25 years. Now, well probably over 100. Cold Steel appeals to my inner child of every year.
Epic! This was like an outtake from 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'. How could you possibly forgot to include a codpiece with your armor? Rookie mistake! The sword snapping is evidence that the Curse of Lynn selling Cold Steel is REAL, and all new Cold Steel blades are now damned. The good news is that if you have a belt grinder and a new handle, you now are the proud owner of a short sword and a dagger. Good times!
Might just be your GOAT video, I was feeling down but everytime I remember you in that armor striking that pitiful table and the look on your face as the sword breaks is just priceless and brings a smile everytime. Thank you and hope you get your money back.😃👍⚔️
I snorted my water when the sword broke. Damn, that video was amazing. Easily the most realistic sword how-to video on the internet. I imagine a significant percentage of dudes who buy swords have a similar experience.
Love the narration on this video! Had me cracking up because I was looking at buying a sword for no reason and this video made me realize it was a lame road to go down
lol i love this, i love the thumbnail, i love the shadiversity video that he’ll do that exposes you, and i love the matt easton response to shadiversity that carefully explains that shadiversity is a dunce and that there are specific contextual constraints of your fencing style that make it authentic to early 21st century post industrial US suburbia.
Now, I have thought about this video a lot, rewatched, and I stand by my original comment, this is the best video ever made, gonna watch it again right now
The true, burning question that I have, that you failed to address I may add…..can you use the shield to baton the sword through the table!?!?! I do have to say, that the Wallace would have equalled “freedom!” Well done as always!
I got my son that sword for his 14th birthday, along with about $200 worth of watermelon, cantelope and coconuts. I may have to rethink our plans to use it on decrepit furniture in the near future.
I stumbled into your channel about 10 minutes ago and now I have plans to binge watch all your videos. Or at least, you know, use them as entertainment when I'm on the shitter. 5/5 stars, keep up the good work.
I love the majority of your videos, but I think this one may be the absolute _BEST_ one yet! 🤣😂 Keep up the awesome -comedy- -routines- reviews; they're highly entertaining, and _some_ of them are informative, too. 👍
This is somehow less cringe than 82% sword reviews that I have seen on TH-cam. You treat these ancient traditions with the respect they deserve, Lynn and meatboots would be proud.
Best thing to do with a sword like this. Take a bottle of beer, place the tip of the sword under the cap, then hold sword and bottle and lazily drop the sword on its pommel. A drop of about 10cm or 3 banana diameters should do the trick and send the cap flying. Coolest way to open a beer. Good to know how crappy ColdSteel swords are (and they are not even cheap).
Also, I would say this is a warranty case. A sword should take a lot of more impact. Eventually, all swords (that get used) break but even a cheap Hanwei training sword will last you about 1-1.5 years of weekly training.
@@AdvancedKnifeBro oh nice. I've been using an A7III, but got strapped in and taken for a ride at the Photography store by the reps the moment i mentioned that i make videos about pens & knives; OHH you definitely Need the SONY G FE 90mm macro 🤔 "wow i guess i really do" Regardless though, I'd be watching even if you were filming on a gameboy color camera; love that someone in the edc adjacent content sphere actually sits down and makes well thought out videos. Also if you ever think of selling a deadlock holler at your boy here. Though i could likely just email Gavin and inquire about getting listed
I just rewatched LOTR last night. Now you have a Narsil replica. “Renewed shall be blade that was broken: The crownless again shall be king.” [Unless it has a Cold Steel warranty]
This was the best thing I’ve watched in the last 6 months, hands down. “Now the nice thing about these practice katanas is… OHHH!!!! That hurt. Ohhh. That hurt big time.”
I bought one of those exact swords quite a few years ago. Never used it. Back then, there were reports of it losing its pommel. They just flew off. I am surprised at your results.
Back when I was even dumber than I am now, I was in full-blown opiate withdrawal and decided to take 150ug of acid and watch the Shining. That was definitely on the opposite end of the fun spectrum.
You'd better hold onto that broken sword- you never know when you might need to sever the One Ring from the hand from a local Dark Lord. Also regarding your points that the blade isn't from the right period for Braveheart you'd better stay in your lane. @scholagladiatoria doesn't take kindly to competition.
Should have saved your money from that crap armour and got a better sword. Also, wtf.. you should have made mincemeat out of that tree. Frankly made us sword dudes look a little dweeby. Rarely have I seen a more pinnable comment. Legendary.
This guy gets it. 👆👆 😂

Someone needs to tag Skullagrim with this video

He's learning the hard way so we don't have to. This man's a treasure.
Ahahahahahahahaha!!!!
I didn’t know I needed this review as badly as I did
You have a treasure trove of excellent content... but this is hands down my favorite upload. I laughed and cried for reasons I can't begin to explain.
Lolollll
When you think you need a ridiculous cutting impliment, Cold Steel is always the first place to look. They appeal to every man's inner 12 year old.
so true
I gutted a catfish with one 😂 video recorded it, sent it to the wife, she said she isn't eating that. Don't care, I loved it and was fun / funny 😂

😂😂😂 glass half full I like it
Bro, love you. Legit hope you're doing okay, and continue to make the most excellent content out there.
I appreciate that!
Gave him back 10% of that broken sword.
The basic test of a new sword back was to give a couple chops into a stump and a couple good flexes. Blade HQ definitely owes you a new sword.
Might just be your GOAT video, I was feeling down but everytime I remember you in that armor striking that pitiful table and the look on your face as the sword breaks is just priceless and brings a smile everytime. Thank you and hope you get your money back.😃👍⚔️
This is one of your best videos.
The "shrubbery" was a nice touch.
Bro. This is the content we need Not another Lockback old timers review. Long live Beginner Sword Bro! I nearly peed myself when it snapped
Wait, we're not supposed to pee on ourselves normally while watching AKB?
...shit.
Agreed the old timer lock backs be gay
That was the pinnacle of cold steel hand and a half reviews. I agree with Pete. This might just be your magnum opus.
Easily my new favorite sword video on TH-cam! Thanks AKB
I snorted my water when the sword broke. Damn, that video was amazing. Easily the most realistic sword how-to video on the internet. I imagine a significant percentage of dudes who buy swords have a similar experience.
Indiahrea Jones and the Worst Crusade
This video was MAGICAL.
It still is!
This video is absolute gold from start to finish.
How does this only have 14k views. It is a masterpiece.
I'm a sword guy and this video earned a subscribe lol. Even if it's the only sword you ever review, it was good enough.
How many?
Which is your favorite?
The line between an Advanced Knife Bro review and a Tim and Eric skit once again grows even thinner and I am for it!
Love the narration on this video! Had me cracking up because I was looking at buying a sword for no reason and this video made me realize it was a lame road to go down
Your leg going through the table was so damn funny. This video is amazing!
The Charlie brown reaction to the sword break. Top notch.

You're the funniest knife reviewer on TH-cam and I love your videos. Thank you
holy crap....lol...instant classic...I am entertained!
I had this sword in my BladeHQ cart. Glad I watched this video first. At least we can expect some Return of the King role playing in the future.
Now, I have thought about this video a lot, rewatched, and I stand by my original comment, this is the best video ever made, gonna watch it again right now
True Monty Python “B” roll gold right here. At least it made a cool sound when it snapped 😂
This is the best video on this channel so far, and that's really saying something. I was dying from laughter the entire time
The true, burning question that I have, that you failed to address I may add…..can you use the shield to baton the sword through the table!?!?! I do have to say, that the Wallace would have equalled “freedom!” Well done as always!

It’s perfect pooping content
Please try another sword. This one was brilliant but it would be fund to see you review a good one.
This is, hands down, the best video I’ve seen all week!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your commentary i gotta say it's pretty damn good i wish you could put out hours of this kind of material
Man, cold steel living up to the name...cold steel..😐 Video footage PRICELESS 👌
I love the majority of your videos, but I think this one may be the absolute _BEST_ one yet! 🤣😂
Keep up the awesome -comedy- -routines- reviews; they're highly entertaining, and _some_ of them are informative, too. 👍
Epic. You sir are a national treasure and a living legend.
My dude! I love your videos. I bought a FiestXL based off your recommendation. But this video… chef’s kiss! Simply perfection!
Glad you like the Feist! Thanks dude!
Thanks!
Masterpiece, your finest work yet...
This is somehow less cringe than 82% sword reviews that I have seen on TH-cam. You treat these ancient traditions with the respect they deserve, Lynn and meatboots would be proud.
That was like wearing a warm blanket on a rainy day. I laughed alot. Thank you for making my whole week, rock on!

Among your many videos… This is one of them.
Advanced Medieval Sword Bro?
Comedy Gold right here. This one will get a rewatch.
"Hand and a half, which is what it will be after the trip to the emergency room". Damn, I needed that!
Serious reviews is why I am here and never disappointing!🤣😂🤣
I wish you were my neighbor lols 😂 “hurry up honey, he’s trimming the hedges again”
YYYYYEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!! THIS IS WHAT I'VE NEEDED!!!
what are you filming on?
GH5S with manual lenses
@@AdvancedKnifeBro oh nice. I've been using an A7III, but got strapped in and taken for a ride at the Photography store by the reps the moment i mentioned that i make videos about pens & knives; OHH you definitely Need the SONY G FE 90mm macro 🤔 "wow i guess i really do"

How does this masterpiece have less views than your hungover collection overview video
I got the serge slipjoint razor, glad I learned about it
Wow. Cold steel. Comments cold steel? Stickman u out there?????
I say again, this is the best video ever
If you’ve done this hopefully a Balisong review is coming
This is the best video ever made 4:01
Glorious video, 10/10. Will watch again.
I'm legitimately mad this video doesn't have more views. 😂
You know shit happens.
Look at the bright side. Now you have _two_ knives and the perfect segue into the spicy world of cosplay.
There were once knights of the Round table, you however are a knight of the Broken table
I admire the courage it takes to humiliate one's self for the entertainment of others, Mr. AdvancedKnifeBro. I aspire to be like you.
This is what I subscribed for
Wonder if an Esse Longsword could even be broken.
I just rewatched LOTR last night. Now you have a Narsil replica.
“Renewed shall be blade that was broken: The crownless again shall be king.” [Unless it has a Cold Steel warranty]
I just found your channel. I love it.
Laughed so hard. Your foot had no problem going through that table, but the Cold Steel just couldn’t handle it😂
PLEASE make this a T-shirt!!!
Priceless video!!
Sir Advanced Knife Bro has come to our aid this Sunday morn!
Great surprise.
I love it man, I laugh every time I watch this! Love your content bro keep it up 👍👍
Dirrareah running down my leg. I love that kind of content.
Just asking questions- did Lynn ever cut a meat boot armored with dead Christmas trees? I think we know why.
This was the best thing I’ve watched in the last 6 months, hands down. “Now the nice thing about these practice katanas is… OHHH!!!! That hurt. Ohhh. That hurt big time.”

I am surprised at your results.
Good thing you put all that protection on, including the safety glasses.
On God, I swear, you are my spirit animal.
Wow. Just as I was settling in for the dimensions… BAM.
This was pretty funny, your sense of humour's amazing!
0:32 overlooked moment that needs more attention in the knife community.
Great….GREAT video, knifebro. A masterpiece, in its way.
Great video. 👍 👍!
Thanks 👍
You are a true warrior my friend! lol love it. Thanks for a good video!
Come on Cold Steel, send this man a better sword! He is one of us!
Cold steel doesnt make better swords
how much would for the broken sword, bro? i think that would be fun to try and modify into a smaller weapon
Next sword review deserves several blue measurement lines for the classic AKB throwback
Up there as one of the best videos you've ever made
I haven’t had this much fun watching a video since I watched Krull on acid back in ‘93! 👏
How old were you?
@@AdvancedKnifeBro I’d been an adult for 1 year at that point. My first year “adulting” wasn’t any better than the 30 subsequent ones.
Back when I was even dumber than I am now, I was in full-blown opiate withdrawal and decided to take 150ug of acid and watch the Shining.
That was definitely on the opposite end of the fun spectrum.
😂😂😂 this was the best one yet. That is a bummer though, the great content that could have been made.
Did not expect the sword to break I laughed so hard. Great stuff!
Holy hell this was hilariously awesome. More! More of this
You'd better hold onto that broken sword- you never know when you might need to sever the One Ring from the hand from a local Dark Lord.
Also regarding your points that the blade isn't from the right period for Braveheart you'd better stay in your lane. @scholagladiatoria doesn't take kindly to competition.
Well that ended with a plot twist I wasn’t expecting 😂
That was magical! Some of Cold Steel's historical weapons line was made in India by Windlass Steelcrafts, I don't know which ones. Excelsior!
I laughed so hard!!!! Thank you AKB!
Brilliant! Hat's off to you sir.
Im mad i didn't get the notification i would've watched this immediately
