  • Torticollis is a condition in which a baby's head is "twisted" or turned to the side and tilted to the opposite side. It can also happen in adults but this playlist is dedicated to the treatment of torticollis in babies. I would like to thank Bode's family who allowed me to come into their home for 6 hours at a time to film him starting when he was 1 month old. ...And then to return and do it again. Wow! Bode does not have torticollis. Bode was quite tolerant of being turned and stretched this way and that. I hope you find these videos useful. If you believe your baby has torticollis, consult your doctor and a pediatric physical therapist with experience treating a child with torticollis for a program specifically designed to address your specific child's recommendations. Do not delay. Earlier treatment is predictive of better outcomes and shorter treatment.
Here are the clinical guidelines for treatment of congenital Muscular Torticollis:

Since these videos are presented in progressive order of difficulty, it may be helpful to watch them in order. Here is the link to the playlist: • Torticollis Treatment

I’m very disappointed that I took my grandson to many doctors and therapists and none of them ever suggested a helmet. He is 4 years old now and it’s too late for him. He has uneven ears and a weak right eyelid. I have seen children wearing a helmet but I had no idea what it was for? So sad that if we never studied any of this treatments and suggest or ask for a helmet it just goes without being addressed.

Plagiocephaly is best treated by a helmet if it has progressed significantly and does not improve with aggressive repositioning

My email address is in the video description. Please remember it is considered unethical for me to provide treatment recommendations for a child I have not personally evaluated
