    At last true subharmonic singing! So many on here are growling and passing this off as subharmonics, but this sounds very good, actual multitone singing.

    • @BoopSnoot
      @BoopSnoot 3 ปีที่แล้ว +43

      The key to this is understanding the technique. You have to relax the sphincter and then open your mouth wide as an air inlet, and then use your abdominal muscles to play your large intestines as a bag pipe, with the sound actually produced from the rear, not the mouth.

    Good job practicing so it gets easier, stronger and more musically useful! First time I did subharmonics I did C#1 and B0. Surprised me to hear myself making these near-infrasound pitches. I can do G1-F1-E1 in chest voice easily but musical tonality gets way less below about D#1. It's the Beat the Piano challenge when I do a G#0. A sub contra note with absolutely no value in music at all.

      It's kind of in the name, throat singing or throat bass is done by pushing the throat, while subharmonics is closer to just letting your voice go and then relaxing it sort of like a vocal fry, don't push your throat when trying to do subharmonics. Hope this helps at all and someone please respond if I'm saying crap that's totally wrong

    I couldn't find any comments saying anything about this so.
    How often did you practice? Was It daily or a couple times a day?
    Also, any tips?

      I practiced daily for hours. But I definitely don’t recommend that as it’s a lot of volume for your throat. I’d say 20-30 minutes every couple days or everyday is fine. And what helped me a lot was not thinking of the low note but just adding the fry to the regular note and let the undertone be produced

      @@chrispaul79 I've heard that it's not good for your throat to do it more than an hour a day cause you might loose your voice. When I tried for the first few days I definitely did it more than an hour though. I'll just try to add vocal fry instead of worrying about the note and see if that helps, Thanks.

    Just learnt this. Beatboxers call it vibration bass. Remix did a good tutorial on it, it's how I learnt

    How much we annoy our families and neighbors in these pursuits. Between trying to whistle higher and do subharmonics, I might be the most annoying person on Earth.

    How are you able to project loudly? I've been trying to learn subharmonics but I can't get any volume out of my vocal fry.

    I should have kept going with it during the time I had a long commute. I'd probably be getting it by now.
