8:35 totally yes 😅, they are definitely one of my absolute favorite bands that I discovered in 2022. Also some of my favorite songs as a reaction suggestions are: "Like That", "Alkaline" and definitely "The Offering".

Went to see them yesterday at the O2 Academy in Birmingham and it was such a good experience, the image and aesthetic of the band just works in a live setting. They opened the show with Chokehold, and the crowd went nuts, and then they followed it with this and the middle of the pit starting moshing instantly. A few songs I would recommend to listen to if you haven't are Atlantic, Gods, Higher, Nazareth (one of their earlier songs), The Night Does Not Belong To God, The Love You Want, Mine, and The Offering. These show a wide variety of what Sleep Token can do. And as for people calling it their heaviest song, within their style, it's by far one of their outright heaviest in the sense that it doesn't have the synth pop elements that lead the instrumentation like in Hypnosis, Alkaline, or The Love You Want. And the breakdown is just downright heavy, only two other songs I can think of that rival it are Gods, which is just filthy, and The Offering, which they ended they end their live shows with. When they played it live yesterday, over half of the pit was moshing at the end.

They're not off tempo, they're offbeat. I love that "some filthy shit is about to happen" right before the song goes into the funkiest redux of lyrics from the beginning of the song. This finale drops panties, proven.

Pink Floyd vibes 3/4 of the way through, like 5 different genres in 1 song, it does grow on you tho. Alkaline is 1 of my faves, and loved the song Ramos did, but he kinda ruined it, because now I hate the originals ending 🤣, really spoilt us big time with that right.
