I have a class B and was thinking about upgrading to class A…then I found box trucking and other means of moving fright…I will not be upgrading, but I am thankful that I have a class B because I can carry more weight …and I have extensive safety training because I haul humans🤪at the moment 🤣 Safety training is priceless…because you learn how to do things properly to keep DOT off your neck…in turn…you make more money. #invest in safety training so you can stay on the road
Solid video bro, great content. The only thing I'd mention is the music volume while your talking...it kinda over powers your voice, if u could fade it while your speaking...your videos would be flawless! Keep the dope content coming & most importantly...be safe out there!
Thanks brother I appreciate it!💪 And I turned the music volume down in the settings, it’s just taking a while to reflect in the video. Should be fixed soon

Especially when you got 34yrs professional driving with all kinds of safety awards & certifications! Nothing like calling your own shots🥰✊🏿👍🏾
Quick question....I see him drove the forklift inside...how do you know if he can't when buying a box truck? Only asking because when I worked for ups we had a budget 26ft box truck and you would hear the wood Crack when we drove the forklift in there
@@20team73 You can get a hotel or sleep at the truckstop, although DOT doesn’t want you to sleep in the truck if there isn’t a sleeper you have to do what you have to do
How much is the truck total for the day/week and do u need ur own insurance under your DOT and MC authority to do loads for amazon or anyone else for that matter? because i think the trucks have an option for insurance
You need your own insurance to have an active DOT MC and run for Amazon, not the one offered by the truck rental company. For the week from Enterprise or budget you’re looking at around $450-$600 (or higher) plus milage depending on the location you rent from

Sorry I had to remove the background music, it was too loud.

Thank you so much for the content. There isn’t a lot hollering about being rich😂. This is pure knowledge.

Can’t get list
I been looking into box truck authority when I get to texas. As a box truck driver doing otr. Where do you sleep?
Can you sleep in your truck at the truck stop?
@@20team73 You can get a hotel or sleep at the truckstop, although DOT doesn’t want you to sleep in the truck if there isn’t a sleeper you have to do what you have to do
What size pallet jack you have
Just a standard size, haven’t ran into pallets that it didn’t work on

How long your authority been active
Since last May
would suck if you droved over 1000 miles for a load only for the person to say they changed their mind. I bet that would be a be upset.
How many brokers are on the broker's list?
29
How old is your MC?
8 months
Hard to hear you over the music
Thanks bro, just turned it down will take a minute to update
Hey can you do a video over insurance from your perspective
I can. Are you having trouble finding insurance?

@@TeylorwithaE Oh got you, yep I can make a video about that
I thought truckers can drive for 14 hours.
I heard you can do 14 if you stay within a certain radius but Im not too sure on that
you can work 14hrs... but only drive 11...
Less than 2$ a mile not worth it.
Dallas, TX to Billings Montana is 1350 Miles. $2,800 is $2.07/mi. Then I got a load coming back to College Sta, TX for $3,500 @ $2.33/mi
@@trucknonabudget5696 exactly… not just about the load going there but getting a load coming back
@@jrk1990 Yep that $3 could easily turn into $1.50 lol
