Can anti theft system can be triggered by trying to remove radio without tools, now my car wont keep running for more than half second. How do i fix that?
I am also facing this issue, don't do anything whenever you will see that light still just pull out your key unlock the car once again with the remote. This method worked for me every time.

It didn't work for me :( The key guy is asking rupees 2500 for resetting the codes in the keys. I haven't used the other key ever but still the same problem with another key

I think this will work for almost all vehicles. If immobilizer is completely damage this wont work. This work if there's any coding error by immo. diagnosis.
Hmm... bro check fuse box near steering wheel for blown fuse. There s a fuse for imb. diagnostics. If there's no light on key insert, there might be no voltage to key scanner.
@@dailyhandsdiy car is running regularly just sometimes when I switch off engine and later start then car is taking self but not starting and later after 10-15 minutes car is starting normally so I don’t what to do i even went to tata motors they said your car is in perfect condition but still I’m facing this problem but very rarely not everytime
Do you see the immob light flashing? or nothin in dash. If there's no warnings, there're other reasons like failing crank or cam sensors, failing relays related to fuel ignition or pump etc...
@@dailyhandsdiy thank you for your information , but today i went to tata motors they checked with laptop and they found there is issue with immobilizer warning light they said just check before giving self start to engine for the immobilizer light if it is not getting off do not try to start the if you do car will detect wrong key code and it will block engine to start it will take self & all but engine will not start for a while like 30 minuts because in the system it is detected so , same thing happpend to me for 4 times in each day i was not looking at that light and trying to start directly and getting blocked by car system.

Bro is the key a normal key or a flip key or remot inbuit to key type? what kind of key is that. There's a small transponder chip inside the each key which activates immobilizer. If its lost or damaged or not transferred to new key, car wont start.

For clarification i removed immobilizer and found moisture on top of IC chip. might be a chip malfuctn. i sparyed some wd 40 on the circuit and copper coil. Never faced the problem afterwrds.
There are two chances one if the key transponder becomes weak and second the coils. For key jst heat the key. not to melt it jst heat it so the transponder gets hot and recive the signals. if this works you have to change the keys, second you have to remove the steering cover and have to remove the immoblizer unit clean the circuit boards and spry some wd 40 on the coil area. 60 to 70 % works.
Programming can cost you like 800 to 1500 depending the technician and changing the whole set can cost arnd 5k. Keeping the moisture out is a tricky job, need to open the coil housing and spry wd40 on it.
@@dailyhandsdiy I had to take out my negative battery terminal usually because of discharged battery problem for saving battery.. can it be one of the reasons for immobilizer issue as well? Apart from moisture issue

did you only disconnect the black (negative) pole for 10-15 minutes? leaving the red pole connected?

Do check the ground and wires for corrosion...make sure every connection from the battery is strong and not loose. Also check the battery condition.

i think you have to change your lock set for this problem , but still go to laptop odb checking in car service center

You need to machine new keys with transponder and reprogram the ecu for that key...

There is always a red blinking in my Tigor, Does it drain battery? How do i disable it simply? (Removing battery is the only way?)
It does not drain the battery. it's supposed to blink like that. It's a safety feature of modern cars. do nothing.

Its not the circuit board, the key cover has a small transponder built inside like about half a cm in length did you put that in to the new key cover?

Have you checked the battery.? if battery is low immobilizer makes error

There might be a chance that moisture enters the immoblizer and the coil does not catch the key transponder.

If immob's gone completely won't work. Another way is to spray some wd40 on to the coils if you can get access to the coils.
I tried this method several times in my ford figo but doesn't works. Even changed battery with a new one
Major cause of immobilizer issue is due to moisture on coils. or loose wiring. This technique won't work everytime.
