Irish_Conor, GlengarBoy - Eire Agri Modding!!!!! You created a whole new game, do you know that??? Thank you so much for bringing this to console. Giants should kneel and bow deeply for you guys, they will generate extra turnover thanks to the inventions you made 😮
I love this, and it's really how it should be in the base game but one thing i think should be an option is to buy pallets of powdered milk which can be used instead of normal milk, but tbh this utterly brilliant for anyone who likes animal work and as i do that irl it's made this hands down my favourite map.
Voice that idea to Eire agri modding and if its possible they could maybe add a production chain to turn milk into powdered milk. Not 100% sure if possible but they'd tell ya.
I don't understand why you find simple animal husbandry so astounding in a pegi 3 game😅😅

@@jimclements3190 I guess, in a way, that you are making the point. Though I'm not sure how the rating applies here... the fact that these features have not already been implemented into the base game for a farming simulator is pretty astounding. It's what makes someone adding the features so amazing. In all honesty, the animal husbandry aspect of the game has always felt a bit more tacked on, so to speak, than an integral part of the experience. There's still a lot that I'd like to see added as well, such as animal meat processing and such... but that actually might be something where the rating *would* apply (not sure how they view butchers lol)
More testing required... I'd say about 40 episodes about an hour long should do it (but of course "try" to make the shorter)
The guys that made this map should be hired by Giants. This is how the game should be.
This is amazing as a console player, the realism that has been missing just great. Should be standard not just for pc, love it.
Been playing the map till late, late, late last night… and just came back home today, guess what 😲😂 I will be on this map for ages! Thanks for sharing all this. Saw a video from Farm Sim Snowy at noon showing the exact same tips on the fences and walls. Sharing is caring. Great community, these FS content creators!
First off thank you MrSealyp for doing this! 2nd hardly do I ever look at "tight" spaced lanes and yards kinna maps but this is too gorgeous to not give it a go... an the husbandry amazing. Just an awesome map hands down.
Thank you for the information about the walls and fences. Love the animals, this is a really relaxing map. Starting out on a farm and to keep costs down, without borrowing, I would buy all the piglets, calves etc, love watching them get older.

@@mariuspopa6511 hi there, we have asked GIANTS for a status update on yhe base game bug that is causing the issues with modded and base game animal pens and are awaiting a response. In the meantime the built in animal pens in the map work 100%

This addition to Farm Sim is epic, i don't normally play maps with tight spaces but this is a map i am definitely going to play specifically because of the animals on this map actually having the actual young version of each animal. Thank you for this informative video MrSealyp. Keep up the awesome work.

This is utterly ground breaking . Why can't Giants come up with this? Just goes to show how modders are pushing this game further and further forward.
Theyve got to be looking into this for the next game. They always end up taking a mod from current game and build one into it by themselves. This game it was seasons. Next game i think this is gonna be it
Its a shame we had better and more advanced maps on fs19, feels like 22 has gone backwards so this map feels special
This was part of seasons, guess giants got lazy and expected the modders to make it work so they could copy for the next iteration. Maybe in fs25, just let the the modders bring back seasons
@@patkins8319 the vibe I'm getting from giants recently is "make bsre minimum content, profit from old mods and leave modders to actually make the game worth playing"

Probably because of the same reason you can't 'interact' (I mean move by crashing into) with traffic: They have stated more than once, that the age rating of 0 is very important to them (and their sales). EDIT: And yes, that IS ridiculous: Why would nature be age rated? But that is the world we live in.

I'm not even 3 minutes into this video and I am so glad you made it. I tried everything to get rid of the fences but never had the help window on.
Absolutely love this map, once I decided on which farm to buy lol but it’s like learning farming simulator all over again, and thanks for the tip on hiding walls etc couldn’t figure it out at all

This Evening i was playing on a sunny but crisp January early morning just before sunrise. The fields towards the east from the north were so freaking beautiful with morning frost and a hazy orange sky ... I stoped and grabbed myself a coffee with a piece of cake while enjoying the staggering scenery... 😮💯🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️

First off: great work on this map; kudos to the map creators. And, of course to MrSealyp for showing us the map and taking the time to try out all the new features. I have a theory on the piglets you transferred and three of them 'falling behind' in growth. Could it be that the non-Ballyspring pen is not compatible with the growth mechanism and therefore animals in those pens will not change appearance no matter how long they stay in those pens? They probably do age, but will stay 'forever young' in appearance... Maybe worth to test out...
Great video, have you done a test on best time to sell different animals at different ages, is it same as base farm animals ?

The field rolling texture is different. It's smooth with no lines. Just an FYI.
I LOVE THIS MAP!!! But it has so much bush it needs a Brazilian wax! Lol.
Other mappers going to have to up their efforts to even get my attention now.
Maybe a few exotic domestic animals from other country's. Water buffalo, bison, ostriches.
Also another idea, slap some very long horns on the cattle and YAY you have longhorn cattle.

You can also change camera when riding horses which is really cool and I believe the daily riding gauge goes to 100 alot quicker I could be wrong but it seems to well be getting alot more horses now with this map it's fantastic brilliant all round
I don't understand if this was possible from a modder. Why was the animal cycle not added into the base game by Giants.
Let me preface by saying I have no inside information, either from Giants side nor am I a modder. But consider all the stuff that is happening in the base game. You have new stuff in FS22 that were just mods, mostly for PC, in earlier versions. A lot is happening. Seasons, forestry, production chains, precision farming was added, the base animal system has evolved. Giants has to balance features with footprint. They have to consider that the game is running not only on PC but on console and earlier generation consoles at that. So it is a balancing act. They cannot run the game at 100% resource because there has to be headroom to grow. This gives the modders room to specialize in areas that Giants have just introduced basic functionality. Imagine if you are on PC, this would be nothing new! Look at Hoff Bergmann, Farmer Andy is pushing limits. These animals; they are essentially his work that started this. When the next version of FS comes out (FS25?) Giants may incorporate many of these things that outside modders have created, that has been the trend so far. It is a symbiotic relationship between Giants and modders that is a good thing, let the gamers themselves dictate how the game progresses. Again, from Giants perspective, it is all a balancing act. Enjoy the fact this has become available to you! PC players have had this a while now.
As I think about this a good example is crop types. Did you know that for PC there are now somewhere around 15 new crop types available? Alfalfa, linseed, field beans, carrot and onion just to name a few. Many map makers have incorporated these crops into their maps, perhaps console players will get Linseed with Court Farms when it comes out. Anyway, about six months ago now I made a basic map with all the extra crop types available along with the (at that time) Hoff Bergmann extra animals, some of which you see here. Thanks to Farmer Bob for giving tutorials on all this. Anyway, the map is bloated and resource hungry. The more you add, the more bloated and slower the map gets. This is what I mean by a balancing act. Sure, Giants could add up to 64(!) new crop types right now. But at what cost? Could a console player even play something like that?

@@auro_201 there are those that would say giants f up everything they touch, like the old seasons mod and the animal system from fs19. I would not disagree...but once again, that is the point of both my posts. It is a balancing act. Giants have made "lite" versions of these mods to incorporate into the base game. Sure, they could have focused more on this side but the focus in 22 is production chains. And they need to leave headroom as I explained. They create the game to run on a set minimum of resources. Ditch the old gen consoles and the base game gets better. Ditch all consoles and it gets better still. Concentrate on PC graphics cards made in this decade and still better...this is just fact, the weaker systems bog the game down. Do I think giants should exclude consoles? NO! But facts are facts, some of the PC maps available outside modhub are mind-blowing.
@@seanobrien7169 agreed I am still unfortunately on PS4 so no way that could handle a massive amount of crop types etc on a single map. But I feel that the cycle of animals is quite fundamental to a farm and would have been nice to see at base game level. Or included in an expansion. I am not a modder but assume they work for free. Adding something like this into a game for me is worth more than paying 6.99 for some more grass work equipment.
Great video thanks. Giants should be talking with these Modders. I would happily pay for an updated livestock DLC instead of a different version of equipment that we already have.

Bob on Mr Sealy p great vid ,,, finally I can feed my cows silage and not have to mess about with tmr ,,, I'm a dairy farmer and this is pretty close to how it really is ,,,,, only difference I would have my calves in the shed and milkers in open pasture but it will be a pain filling the water all the time ,,, a water trough mod would be the cherry on top

this is the first time i know of that a map tour needed a part 2 because it couldnt fit in an hour video
love a start from 0 playthrough, started one last night and took on some potato harvesting contracts but couldnt get the machines through the tiny gate openings.... other than that though its a fantastic map

This map, after watching you and FSG showing it off has made me, a guy who since fs13 has avoided small field maps and seeing animals as a waste of efficient farming space, run around this stunning piece of work for hours with a chainsaw enlarging the fields and at the same time tend to my cows as if they were my children. And I can't tell you why... it just has that something.
So come on Giants, when was the last time you released something that changed the game? (Yeah, Silverrun was great, but the filler dlc's, come on!)
July 27, 2023 CAUTION - - - Even tho you can remove the cobblestone walls, and you can walk or drive thru them, you are still NOT able to place a building or pen in that area. There is still a collision and you will receive the message "collides with another object". Also, when placing a modded Bally Spring cowshed that comes with the map, that holds only 45 cows, the cows do NOT show up in the cowshed. I and my friends play on PC and we were on the cross platform, multiplayer map when we experimented with this. This is NOT a complaint, I just wanted to let others know so they can adjust their playing accordingly. I REALLY like this map and everything the map creators have been able to accomplish with it, especially for console players. I hope the map creators will see my comment and let me know if there's something I need to do that will clear up the aforementioned concerns. Thank you and Take care.

@@sherrydowns4052 It "should" technically, but it usually grossly affects the terra forma around the building.

Have been loving the Enhanced Animal System, how is this different from that as it looks almost identical - or is this for console?

I couldn’t get the custom animals to show in external custom pens or official ones either, so I made the rare decision to keep the original pens and associated pits and such. I assume they still work on modded and official pens, but don’t show up visually, even though they are in the menu.
I noticed that as well with the modded pens. I left a comment for the pen mod maker I tried on Facebook. I’m assuming since it’s a new animal type it’ll have to be adjusted in the modded pens but I don’t know much about that kind of stuff. I did get eggs from the chicken coop even though no animals actually showed up inside the pen.
The complexity is a bit intimidating, but it looks pretty impressive!
What mod is the massey whixh is shown in the beginning of the video ? The one with the flotations :)

I am loving this map so much that i am setting up for my most worthwhile survival role-play series only thing is when placing a chicken pen down on ps4 ducks and chickens do not spawn in they r there but no visible action of them my chickens and duck pen is base game
@mrsealyp nevermind I figured it out. ( For all the other people that might have the same question. The straw needs to be loose it goes into the food input. With water it goes into a trough the L1+triangle prompt will show up )
If that is not a gamechanger on console i dont know what is, beuatiful😘👌

I need these animals on edgewater. Tried bally spring for a couple of hours and couldn't get my harvester into the fields for contract work. Too tight for even a small harvester. So back to North America i go lol. Amazing map just too tight for my liking.
What about using mod that gives goat milk? Does it work
hey bud, we are aware of the issue with the modded and base game animal pens and are working with GIANTS to resolve. This is a bug with the game itself not loading the correct file path for the animals xml from the map.

Hi, on Xbox when I place one of your sheep pastures it shows a blue flashing rectangle even through the grass, any ideas as I wanted to start a farm with sheep other than the sheep farm..thanks for a brilliant map .

Hi just downloaded this map put a sheep and goat pasture in and am getting a flickering blue area were I put the pasture down for some reason
Where would I find the horse pen?
I’ve added my own chicken pen and cow (with robot) enclosure but the animals aren’t visible for some reason but they are producing eggs and milk, any ideas or suggestions what I could of done wrong please?
Is there a auto loader for logs on console? If so what’s the name of it.
How do you get your animal pens for the hens to have no fencing?

I download this map as soon as I read you buy different animal types. So far so good. Except the dang water sound by the the new farmer property. Lol that could be lowerd so you dont hear it so far away. Smh

Have you tried adding enhanced animals script? Perhaps this is why the modded animal pens don't show the animals?!

We Need Some Polled Hereford Cows
So for me i think i will keep calves in one pen with just milk. And when they turn to heifers move them into a field. Something i didnt test is if you have 20 calves birn is it random wether they male or female

Every time I try to place a ballyspring sheep pen it shows a blue flashing square that stays there once placed, any advice/help welcome
When placed go up to the white 🪧 and click on it..think it was B or A.👍🏻🐨🇦🇺

The only issue I have with this map, is the fact you can't add any more trees on console!
Tip: bush fences can be permanently removed with the devour trees mod lowered and driven up to the center of them
