- In this episode, I take a tour of all the farms on the Fairhead map, I then choose which farm to buy and make a start on gathering some grass to eventually get some cows.

Thanks for the video! I'd do no better on that hill either, coming down between all those fenceposts. Every single one of them would reach out and grab me. Maybe the farm equipment needs to go on a diet so you can slip down through there more easily. 😉

I am loving this map having just started it myself. Using medium size equipment with no problem. I kove the texture and color of the mowed grass. Wish the pesky bushes could be moxed, a pet peeve of mine.
I am using the starting farm and love it. I wish the silage barn had the raised rear dump area and not the manure barm. First time viewer and love your starting this too. I am on PS5 so wont have some of your mods, but still watching.

Thanks for watching and I'm glad you're enjoying, it is a lovely map, i still feel it might have been slightly rushed. I haven't posted a vid for a couple of weeks but 100% plan on continuing very soon, as soon as some things with work and family life slow down. But there are plenty of episode of Fairhead so far and plenty more 👍
My only criticism of this map is it feels very lonely. I think it could do with some Pedestrians / traffic to make it feel like a living breathing area. Apart from that its absolutely gorgeous
I'm considering moving it to an MP server and atleast having some machinery at the other farms because I though something similar it does seem bare in places. Though there are a lot of people at the animal dealers
First time viewer and a new subscriber. I am playing around with this map. Yes, there are some issues and yes, one can purchase the outer reaches of the map; however, access is a big problem (no gates) just hedges if you can find them. I think the biggest negative is the collisions on the narrow roads. That will make a MAP grow old, quicker than anything I know. Beautiful map though all the same and I will enjoy what you are going to do with it.
I currently have episode 2 uploading for tomorrow. I go through buying the land outside the edges of the map to in the first 5 minutes. 👍
Hello there , I watched a video by Elite gaming (sorry) but there is a glitch where you can buy the unobtainable areas . It will cost you though to do so
I think with precision farming it will lower the price (it normally does due to soil types) 👍 I will check it out, and no need for apologising, I would have been crediting elite gaming as that's exactly where I saw it.
Hi - I watched your lets play. Enjoyed the realism of shopping for a property. However
Not sure if you are aware ... but while the map is visually beautiful - it has some issues. I'm on consol
so perhaps not issues for you but - I haven't found a tree yet that can be cut with a chainsaw. two properties and then the woodlot towards the top. road running east / west towards the top has the top of a wire fence sticking out of it = which launches vehicle. plot on the east side of map purchased but no way to access 1/3 of it ??? may be other issues but i quit after an hour.

There is a way to buy the outer parts of the map, I'll check it out later and put it in my next video.
Watch out for the piece of fence in the middle of the road if you take the top road round to the shop from the home farm it will stop you dead in your tracks.

Hey man, how did you end up changing the fields when mine loads up it’s arable field beside farm
Is there a way you can change fields and what crops in them before starting or giant’s editor??
If you are on PC you can do it through Easy Development mod

Is it just me who thinks it’s odd that cut grass fields are stubble? Is this an error or part of the map?
I think it's an error in the map. It's a fantastic looking map but not polished.
Pity that tractor that has no purpose was hiding the PDA map. I noticed you mowed the grass without conditioning, lets see what happens.
It will ferment, you can't dry it. But grass will count as base and moisture food.
Is there a way to remove those dumb fences??
I have been using hide map objects mod on. PC, but that can't removed gates which is quite annoying 🤔
Any idea how to put straw in as bedding?
I'll be buying a straw blower and some bales very soon so I'll feed back when that's done.
