This is an amazing tip/technique. I might have been told this by some instructors before, but never this clearly, confidently or even methodically. Thank you Aaron. This tangling fear is one of the main reasons why I'm unable to become fully independent kiter. We only have option to drift launch (that too, with wrapping all lines and unwrapping) here in Minnesota.
As an "advanced" kiter, this is mesmerizing. I even fly foil kites and learned a long time ago that bridle "tangles" are just some patience and a few shakes away from being corrected. Learned the hard way after thinking I needed to undo lines, doing so, and spending hours rebuilding bridles. I never thought to extend the same principles to my tube kites. This is awesome!

Thanks very much ! But this works only if line have been set up properly at least at the beginning right ? Because if there is only one back line tangle in the middle of the front lines, it won’t work right ?
basically one of the steering lines is fed around your mainline. The motion is a flip and spin. This essentially just makes the bar follow that steering line. = untangled .
Thanks for the awesome comment! This trick definitely feels like kiteboarding wizardry. Aaron has seen his fair share of tangled lines over the years, which gave him plenty of motivation to figure this out. Tesla might have cracked it faster, but trial and error (and lots of kite time) got us there! Let us know if you have any other questions!
If you were able to fag the kite out and use the same rules, yes it would work, on the water… chances are you will most likely only, in most cases only receive one inverted line so it would be easier. Stay tuned for the in the water “bar juggle”
Great question! Yes, bar magic can definitely be done on the water in normal flying conditions after a crash. However, it can be risky if the kite is unsecured, so it’s best to have someone hold the kite if possible while you sort out the lines. The magic still works the same, just with an added layer of safety. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Very nice. I hope my lines never get _that_ tangled, but I have been known to invert my kite occasionally and it's good to see this magical technique. It would be nice to tie it together with an explanation of how you'd do it in the water, at least the shallow water version. I know you then have to unhook your chicken loop _and_ your safety, and only do it in light winds and if you're an experienced rider.
Yeah buddy, it's tough in the water. And as you may know it would never get this bad with a normal kite crash. Make surf you subscribe to the channel, and we will have the in the water "bar juggling" soon
@aaronmcclearnon3290 I do not unfortunately good sir I was just doing a marathon of all your videos and got sick of that jingle yall used, id rather hear wind noises 🤣🤣🤣

If the kite is set up wrong, There is a probable chance that it could work but not all the time.
Why did it take so long for the TH-cam algorithm to recommend this channel to me..
Please explain the flip and spin I dont quite understand what you are doing.
basically one of the steering lines is fed around your mainline. The motion is a flip and spin. This essentially just makes the bar follow that steering line. = untangled .
This trick is next level. How did you come to work this out? I wonder if Nikola Tesla could have seen the solution without trying it?

its works on high v bar ?
Works on any bar with the same rules applied
Is there a way to do this on the water?
If you were able to fag the kite out and use the same rules, yes it would work, on the water… chances are you will most likely only, in most cases only receive one inverted line so it would be easier. Stay tuned for the in the water “bar juggle”
Can this be done on the water? Like normal flying conditions after a crash?
Ive dont it plenty of times in the water. Works the same. You have to know whats best in your own scenario.

Hold on to the chickloop until the last, let go of the chickloop last and everything will be OK. And there won't be any problems.
One thing I should have put at the end
