Great video! important note: don't lay the kite completely on its back...do it like in the video shown, that you can see a bit of the trailing edge, this way the kite gets some wind so you can steer it to its side, where it relaunches.
If it lays dead on its back, you might can't steer it to the side, since the kite does not react on any steering.

Thanks a bunch! I had fun making this one. In fact some of our many year instructors learned from this video.

Thanks! I use hot lunch very often with my 18 kite in light wind. Sometimes he dives deep into the water and usual grab leaders lines doesn't work. Now I know what to do!

Excellent relaunch options. Being new on kiteboarding I never put in practice C-Type relaunch. I'll try when I'll be fully recovered. Thank you!

Great tutorial! I can definitely relate to how frustrating it is to relaunch in low wind.. Can't wait to practice these techniques on my next outing!

good tips. mind that walking around in shallow water it is WAY easier then afloat!

Yes and walking in knee deep will keep that heart rate down.

@@ewatersports agreed :) but most of d time we hv to relaunch while floating. would've been nice to see how a PRO handles that ;)

Thx for that gold video. Your channel is highly underrated ! Please keep doing what you re doin'.😊
One comment on the relaunch with the pump with the steering lines: i usually fly the kite backwards straight up in the sky a bit longer than you do. Then releasing one steering line maked it loop and deliver a lot of power.
May I also suggest you use that power to waterstart directly ? doing this video in deep water would be helpful too as I guess you have more pro tips to share about what you're doing with the board, don't you?

thank you for the kind words. The big thing here is that the reach that we were using won't fly up and backwards in some sizes, This 11 will in a bit more wind but once lite wind and completely soaked, It will just barely move backwards only releasing from the water a few feet. Deep water would be super challenging for Audio, but you are right, being able to see a Pro struggle and talk you through it on camera is huge.

Hey guys, awesome video. I wondered if the frontline technique would work with kites with the V high and noch directly spliting over the bar like the Core Kites. Would be great if you have an anwser on my question. Btw today i managed to do my first standing transitions using your method. Had my first lessons exactly one year ago and your Videos helped me so much. Super thankful for that 🙏🤙

Yes, it would work out all the same. All kites fly on the front lines so putting additional pressure on them will release the water.
