I can't thank u enough for these incredible videos. They are super fun and entertaining! Your jigging method is insane bro. I've tried it to no avail, but I wont quit till I score!! Thanks again, and keep em coming!!
Aaron, I gotta say one of the things I really love about your channel is that you seem to focus a lot on snook. Not that there isn’t a ton of other species to catch in SE FL but your focus on it is in line with what I do. When I was still on Long Island NY I spent over 45 years as a striped bass “specialist” and 100% surf fishing with lures. Now that I’m down here I’ve sort of continued my personal tradition 😁
That’s awesome, they are definitely my favorite species and the one that I have been targeting the longest. I come from a family of snook fisherman. I spent five years in Cape Cod and was also addicted to striped bass during my time up there. They are an incredible fish! I bet you miss them a lot!
@@AbenzFishing Yeah, I do miss catching striped bass. What I miss the most about it was how I could catch them in the open surf away from people (sometimes you could have miles of beach all to yourself). Down in FL snook fishing just seems better “on the inside” where it’s always crowded. But the thing I miss the most? Stripers were sooooo much easier to fool! Snook are MUCH smarter and more wary than even the largest bass I’ve even caught.
@@Onewayto2024 couldn’t have said it better myself, there’s just more stripers than there are snook, by a lot too. I think that’s what it boils down to
great video aaron! i had just gone out this weekend and caught my first snook under a bridge against the current. learned so much from you and this video took me and everyone watching by storm. keep it up man youre a legend
This is my favorite video of yours. What a trip !!! Man in my area I only ever catch decent snook around docks or mangroves. Seems like you’re just fishing a nice drop off with lots of current. Something we don’t get lol
Another awesome video and catches Aaron! I live in the Stuart “area” so I know exactly where these spots are 😅. It’s amazing how those fish “in the back” really get dark to match the tannic waters while those closer to the ocean are more “clean and green.” Keep ‘em coming Snook Man 👏👏!!!
Watching this on the T.V. Is next level. Aaron this video is FREEKING INSANE!!!!!!! Your content and editing is always fantastic. Bro, this is next level. Those last two fish 🤯! Maybe your brother-in-law will get a PB next time. He’s fishing with “ that guy “. I pray the family is well. Stay safe out there brother.
Why didn't your brother in law get a fish on video ? It looked like he was just trying to get out of your way. It's rewarding watching the person we take out with us getting their P.B. Snook.
Thanks man, I loved the video but kind of felt bad for your brother in law. Hope you guys did well, and didn't experience any loss from Milton. I'm up in Live Oak we got clobbered by Idalia, Debbie, and Helene, but Milton pretty much didn't effect us which is good. That said, I haven't been able to go fishing, it will take me about 3 months of cutting and burning every day, just to get rid of all the limbs, and trees that fell on the property from Helene! We got luckier than a lot of our neighbors, and nothing hit the house. We do have to replace 90% of the metal roof on the pole barn, but luckily nothing damaged the house......FishOn.....Jim
@@1jimif dang man, sorry to hear that. We were lucky with Milton, two tornadoes wiped out so much a few streets over but spared our place. Rowan is an AWESOME kid and has had his days killing it. That spot is TOUGH to jig and he had never done it, not only that, he is learning how to be a “cameraman” so he can make a couple bucks
@@AbenzFishingthanks! I ordered a 151 and haven’t gotten it yet. May see if they can just order the 301. I’ll be throwing artificial for snook, redfish trout.
My biggest problem is me and my fishing buddy are coming across MONSTER snook rolling & crashing on mullet every night under a local bridge - but they’re impossible to catch. We’re lure purists, but even the live bait guys are coming up blank!
@@ruskyrosco1054 True 😁 By “impossible to catch” I didn’t mean “impossible to land”. I meant that they won’t even bite. We use 40lb fluoro all the time. I’m seriously considering dropping to 20lb just to see if they’ll take a lure - even if I lose one immediately at least I’ll know why they’ve had lockjaw LOL.
