that pier is a BIG change over what I used to fish on. My uncle owned the Juno Beach Hotel when there was VERY little on the beach beside his hotel, a convenience/food store, a gas station and the pier. That was back in the 1950s. Now it is turning into a concrete city just like the rest of the Florida coastline. Your vid brings back a lot of memories.
Hell yeah, I'm a pier junky in SC, I want to go to South Florida for a fishing trip, at the Charleston jetties in 2022 I caught a 6 foot tarpon, really rare for us here, ever since then I was hooked on the Florida fishery's
I feel like I be fishing and a couple days later I see you post a vid of where I jus was, don't know how we haven't met yet lol Glad to be an early follower of yours, really enjoy your content
Awesome video and great action! I live in the Stuart area and we don’t have any piers up by me. Do I really need to fish from a pier? It seems they use the piling as structure so from an open beach there’s no structure aside from troughs…
There are a lot of fish to be caught in the trough but like you said a pier might be nice to try cause the fish are drawn to the structure. Juno pier isn’t too far from you and it’s a very good pier year round
Bro this video is sick! The nostalgia is real. High quality footage! Glad someone is getting footage of fish eating from the pier . Doesn’t get any better than this.
That’s a mudhole blank. 7’6” 10-20 lb I believe. I’ve had that rod for 10 years so I can’t remember what exact blank it is. The reel is a van staal vr 50
You should show the swimm bait that's what I wanted to see and brand of lures it was you skipped that and it was the main thing 🤔 tell us the brand and size and Color or weight wood be nice. Next time up the game on that. But all that- you had a nice fish coming from the Desert New Mexico drive 60 miles to find water 🤦 more driving then fishing and not big fish at all when the Rio Grande dries up and the fish got to start over in life 🧬 and northern is so cold of water has only trout fish only lakes and rivers. 5,435: to 10,000 high elevation one mile to two miles high and higher I don't like over 10,000 I start getting sick. I've been waiting to go back to Florida for big fishing.
The lure brand is get thumped. I mentioned it several times throughout the video, sorry if it wasn’t clear. We threw all sizes and colors but the best on that day seemed to be the herring color in 3inch with a 1/2 oz jig head

Hey just wondering, what is the combo that you used to catch that massive tarpon that you had trouble getting out of the net?=
That was a custom rod, the blank is a rain shadow and the reel is a shimano twin power xd 5000
do u guys now any spots around boynton? btw great video
Not really tbh. I’ve fished boyton inlet a few times and you’re not terribly far from lake worth pier which can be very productive at times
Bro this video is sick! The nostalgia is real. High quality footage! Glad someone is getting footage of fish eating from the pier . Doesn’t get any better than this.
Never caught a snook before looks very cool if you don’t mind me asking what piers did you go on awesome vid
Thanks! These were Dania pier and Juno beach pier in south Florida
Caught my first one on Monday and landed two after that fish I will be hunting forever
Snook?
Yes
It's really great.
Thanks for watching!
What is your set up your using for peir snook/tarpon
I use different ones but for throwing swimbaits I use an 8ft custom rain shadow blank with a van staal vr 50
I like that black and white pole you were using. What is it?
There’s 2 black and white rods? The one with cork grip or foam grip?
Kyler is the best!!
He’s a young legend
I love how empty it looks, man I love days like those
Benefit of fishing a weekday! Thanks for watching 🙏
@@SunsOutFishing Got you man, see you out at Dania sometimes, I respect the way you fish and treat others man
I appreciate that! I’ll see you out there 🙌
where you get those rods from
These are all custom made rods made at TnR tackle in Fort Lauderdale
I love ur vids
I appreciate it!
What stalls do you have
Right now a VS 250 and a VR 50
Dania beach love it live right near it went fishing last Saturday
Also what size rod should you use for fish like snook or jacks
It depends on the bait I’m throwing but typically a medium heavy to heavy rod is best. I like 8-9 ft rods for land based fishing
What song is at the start of the video? Great video by the way.
Appreciate it! Listen and learn by Toby Tranter
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🙌🙌
What camera and lens do you use?
Sony A7S111 with a g master 24-105
what reel is that on the striped rod
There’s 2. A shimano 5000 twin power xd and a van staal vr 50
Dude go try lake worth pier its a good pier😎🤠
It is a good pier. We almost went the first day
I love ur videos and it’s actually really cool how u fish off the piers I go to
what is that reel called?
A van staal
With the sibikie rig my uncle thought me to take little pieces of shrimp or squid and put it on
That works great if you’re trying to get grunts or small jacks but for schooling baitfish it’s not necessary
Man I wish I was in Florida right now. I’m up in Maine and the striper fishing has been flat dead for the last 4 months
I wanna get in some stripers myself! Thanks for watching
Were you using the 3 inch swimbait?
I threw all 3 sizes but the 3 inch definitely got the most bites on this trip
@@SunsOutFishing ok i will definitely try it out and it was nice meeting you at dania
What was the swim bait brand?
GET THUMPED. I linked their website in the description
@@SunsOutFishing thanks man

It’s a vs 100 American made. One of the original van staals
what rods do you use
They’re all custom rods made by TnR tackle. The blanks of the 3 in this video are calstar, mudhole, and rain shadow
@@SunsOutFishing thank you btw could you shout my soon to be fishing channel its name is wixel3
What’s the rod set up
?
I used 4 different set ups. Which one are you referring to?
The white and black rod with the silver van staal
That’s a mudhole blank. 7’6” 10-20 lb I believe. I’ve had that rod for 10 years so I can’t remember what exact blank it is. The reel is a van staal vr 50
Ok thank you the vid was great btw love pier fishing

Yup it’s very underrated
My bro Damo made the reel!

@@SunsOutFishing your wild man great video I myself live in Delray and there's no snook
Appreciate you watching. When they open Deerfield pier back up it should be lights out
The only things I ever caught off a pier were a sunburn and a hangover.
That kids TH-cam channel has 21.1k followers👀

Good ole Dania dirt
The people just wanted the young Kailer cameo
I looked up shoreline squad and he has over double your subscribers 😭 he has around 20.5 k
Haha yeah they’re killing it
I'm giving up Bass fishing for this...
Do it! Lol
I do freshwater and saltwater fishing
$559 thats how much the reel is i wonder how long he's had it
He’s had it for probably 10 years but the reel itself is probably over 15 years old just based off the serial number
i knew i seen yhu omg bro lol
Shoulda said what’s up
60 lbs leader too light?? Just set the drag down
It’s hard on the pier, there’s a lot of structure
Snook? Must be a northern thing I thing of redfish
That kid that says he has a youtube channel it has 20k subs
Who
bro js leaked every chew ever
Drag was a lil to tight
