Venza like any other Toyota Hybrid, it's full hybrid design Honda is mild hybrid, engine is always on with an electric to assist. So really nothing to compare here Venza is a clear winner, rides smoother, quieter, more power and lot more stylish look. I have a Venza myself, love it.
It would be more proper to compare the CR-V to the Rav4 because the Venza is in its own class. The difference is that the CR-V is an SUV first, then having luxuries added. The Venza is a luxury car first, then an SUV second.
Great comparison. We just picked up our ‘22 Blizzard Pearl Venza XLE after waiting 6-weeks for delivery from Japan. Love it so far! Also thank you for pronouncing MacPherson (not MacFearson) struts correctly! 😂 It’s our last name and most commentators don’t pronounce the name correctly.
Hi folks, thanks for the compliment. I hope you enjoy you new Venza. It’s a very vehicle and should be on everyone’s shopping list. Thanks for watching
Excellent review! I saw a Toyota Venza up close in a parking lot the other day and was very impressed. It is definitely slightly larger, more sleek, and upscale-looking than the RAV-4. I have a conventional gasoline engine CR-V from this generation, so I found this comparison very interesting and informative. Both vehicles here look beautiful - awesome colors and exterior aesthetics. Both are great options in my book.
I agree. The CRV in the video is mine of my personal vehicles. That being said. It was a very tough choice between it and the Venza but the one place the CRV really excelled was the big open cargo area and my German shepherd really appreciates the room. Thanks for watching
wonderfully made video. Very helpful. exactly what I was looking for. But when it comes to numbers and digits I really wished it would have presented in side by side table format all together.
Good detailed review, it would help if next time when comparing size and specifications to do it in a side by side display? This would cut down on the time and allow a easier comparison of size, specifications and such things.
Should compare the CRV to the Rav4 instead the venza is more upscale than the cr-v .thanks for sharing your video take care bye from milton Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
As i check online, quite a number of reviewers favour Toyota Venza but what if i tell you that in countries like Thailand and soon in Malaysia, Toyota Venza (known as Harrier in these markets) come without Hybrid power train and with only 2.0 L naturally aspirated engine and roughly 25% more expensive than Honda CRV Hybrid. What would be your pick then?
The Venza has power adjusting steering column linked to seat memory. I went for a Highlander because of towing, but sure would have liked the power steering column feature. The 10" HUD is great, much more info available head's up. Does the Honda have power adjusting steering column?
I own a Venza and can not stand the touch screen display!! There aren't any knobs for easy volume or quick control. Everything is touch screen and it is not easy to navigate. (Impossible while driving). The suv itself is great but I will be trading this in for something else.
Thanks for sharing. Just a thought here since you like the vehicle itself, take and watch our “how to” video on the drivers information screen and the infotainment system on this vehicle: 2021 Toyota Venza Limited - CarTech Infotainment How To th-cam.com/video/XbSve7JDIBo/w-d-xo.html Most of the frustrations you’ve mentioned can be done via voice commands. You can raise and lower volume (although there’s also a steering wheel button for that as well). You can set a navigation point or address via voice command, change radio stations and adjust the temperature and fan speed all via voice command. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
We went to look at a Venza. It felt very lux inside, but unfortunately as taller folks we barely fit in the front seat and not at all in the rear. A common issue with Toyota models including the RAV4. The Honda CR-V was spacious in comparison and drove well. Hard to go wrong with either Toyota or Honda but if you want more space - Honda. Oh - P.S. the CR-V hybrid does not have a CVT... or any Transmission at all. They call it an E-CVT because its easier to explain then whats really happening.
Really nice review. Thank you for sharing. I'm bit confuse between this two SUV. Not sure which one to pick. One major thing I have noticed - Auto start and Moon roof is not there in the Venza and with same price of Venza LE you can get these two features in Honda CR-V LE-X.
I can tell you that the CRV in the video was my personal vehicle and the Venza was loaned to us from Toyota. After spending a week with both vehicles I knew I had purchased the wrong SUV. I like Honda vehicles and have owned many but the Venza was far more comfortable and luxurious and easier to drive. It’s cargo area wasn’t as large as the CRV but that was the only area where I thought it was lacking. The Venza is a very nice vehicle and you get that cool star gaze roof in place of an actual sunroof. Thanks for watching
@@pushkarrathod1698 Its really hard to give an accurate price in todays marketplace. My suggestion is to head over to the Toyota website and build one and then check to see if there are any available locally in your area. Just be aware that some dealers are indeed adding a markup to their new vehicle as a "market adjustment fee" because of the over all new vehicle shortage
Cant go wrong with either. I really like the styling of the new venza
I owned the CRV in the video, but agree with you that the Venza is a nicer vehicle. Thanks for watching
@@TwoGuysandaRide yea it’s not even close 😂

The Venza and RAV4 are both built on the same platform.
Yes, but the Rav4 has more cargo space and fewer luxuries than the Venza, making it more comparable to the CR-V.
I test drove both the CRV and Venza. Loved the Venza and leased it 8 days ago. Highly recommend and I have the XLE trim
Good choice! Totally agree. Thanks for watching
I wanna be you, drooling over the Venza anywhere I see it.
Since that post a year ago, I’m now in a 2022 RAV4 XSE trim hybrid. Just as awesome

The venza looks very attractive 😍
Agreed., Thanks for watching
Shockingly good car from Toyota. Should do more interiors like this.
We agree!
Venza is 💯 better looking Toyota is killing the game in fuel economy looks the new design is much better then Honda’s and Nissan designs.
We agree. The Toyota Venza borrowed some stying questions from big brother Lexus and hit a home run with the new Venza! Thanks for watching
I just got a Venza. I love it
Congratulations I think it’s a great vehicle. Thanks for watching

Thanks but we were limited in our production capabilities when this was filmed a few years ago
Current year Venza DOES have fog lights on Limited trim. Gorgeous vehicle!
Thanks for the update. It was definitely an omission on the early models. Thanks for watching
Honda needs to make the panoroof available on the CRV in the US like they do in Canada! I would strongly consider it then😁
Agreed. Thanks for watching
I have the Venza with the stargaze moonroof. And to be honest with you, I'd rather have a regular sunroof that opens.

Definitely the Honda

No the Honda only has a manual tilt and telescope adjustment steering wheel and they do not offer a heads up display
Yes, that is a nice feature. I have it in my 2010 RX

If you read on toyota website it has e cvt as well. It's not a traditional cvt it's different... they call it cvt easier to explain .
Im 6’3 and have tons of room, except passenger side when entering since it doesnt have a up and down adjustment

Why do these reviews keep stating that the Venza does not have fog lights. Mine came with fog lights, nice ones too.
Like with many makes it depends on the trim level
The 2022 Venza Limited, now has fog lights. The 2021 did not.
Is it xle or limited?
