Absolutely love this motorcycle, it brings a smile to my face everytime I get on it ... and the smiles never end. I have mine in Lava red and it looks absolutely stunning. In my opinion its the best middleweight sports bike in its class. Thank you Aprilia for being so passionate about the middle weight sports bike segment, the RS660 is a true game changer which blows the competition out of the water. 😊
Looks like Aprilia have a real winner. I’ve only seen great reviews. Refreshing to see a genuinely innovative good looking and powerful bike - bravo Aprilia!
Mr Mat wait til you here it with a full race exhaust and opened airbox! It sounds exactly like a Honda Firestorm with Devil hi mounts!! If money wasn't so tight I'd buy it for the sound alone! Shaping up to be an awesome bike.
I had to pause at 1:02 .. there's something with it there... I don't know, can't put a chin on it. Ok, on a serious note, did he pick up the wrong size lid that day & has to put it up to avoid covering vertical viewport?
mmotor aprilia knal pot belakang di beri jet engine yg harus di tambah trek panjang askruk nya di beri lempeng besi 1 cm bundar di bagi 2 yg lurus di hadap kan ke belakang bisa mutar mutar
Aprilia has nearly nailed it 100% on this bike! The looks, the handling, the BEST sounding engine, everything a lightweight twin sports should be! Can't wait to see the Tuono version, really tough choice between the RS or a lightly used Tuono v4 already. Which one as a mate to my Tuono 1000 R!!???? Oh the decisions to make!!!!
I sell my 1100 Tuono factory and I consider the RS. For me the Tuono 1100 is have a great position to manage the power and got some fun even if I don't manage the 175 horse power. For a 660 it's different, I want clip ons to really feel the sportbike position because I don't need to have the large handlebar to manage this kind of power.
Are the side panels removable ? That would be cool in case of a small "ground contact" while riding on track ;-) I think that this will be my new bike rather soon :-)
Its a pretty bike! However, lots who own this bike have had many issues regarding the engine and electronics. I know someone personally having a terrible time with his bike, engine lights, stalling, not starting, ..... His is now looking for a lemon law lawyer. Would have been nice to see this shot like motogp instead of MTV. Can't tell much about how it turns without seeing at least one complete corner. I think I'll just keep my rsv4 factory anyway.
Ha ha ha. I think they are trying to appeal to riders with not as much experience. Price point will be a focal point. But I still think US buyers will continue going after lesser priced naked or standard motorcycles. The bike looks and sounds nice though.
Yes, all the reviews point to a very predictable and forgiving motorcycle, the riding modes can be implemented to tone down power delivery for novice riders, it can also have the E.C.U flashed to reduce the power output to enable A2 licence holders to ride it as a first big bike.
@@LeGrandPleb It depends on how confident you are I suppose, Ideally, you should start on a cheap second hand 500/600cc bike because it won't matter if you drop it, and you will drop it, I dropped mine 3 times in the first year, luckily it only involved replacing the front brake lever as I had crash bobbins fitted. But if you can afford a new bike, why not? That said I have not ridden the 660rs so I can't be sure. My first big bike (honda hornet)has 100 bhp and a top speed of 140mph, and I was fine as a beginner rider. Believe me it doesn't take long to get used to the power, bikes get slower the longer you ride them. lol.
the statement is made in reference to it's competitors, it has 100HP compared to 94 of the CBF650 or the 74HP of the MT07,don't lose sight if the fact that until the last 10 years or so anything above 150HP for a production motorcycle was the exception as apposed to the rule, think of this: in the early eighties the most powerful car built by Volkswagen had 112 HP in the Golf GTI.
@@fridgemagnet i agree, just at that price you can have many other things. Not saying the power is slow by any means ! :-) just its not very powerfull like they say. Been riding a MT-07 and now a MT-09. The whole package is amazing non the less, just the statement of a very powerfull engine that caught my attention a little bit :D
They nailed the styling on these bikes. Hopefully we'll see similar styling on the future RSV4 and Tuono.
So many people are asking about the v4 🧐

Awesome to see a mid size bike with all this tech and still way more power then you need.
👏 well done Aprillia. In 2 mins I’m completely sold.

Loved this - good luck to Aprilia Motogp this year and to Brad (whatever he's riding).
Grande aprilia!! Voi non create moto, ma vere e proprie opere d'arte.. puro orgoglio italiano.. 💓
Such a beautiful bike. I'll try to get my hands on it, as soon as I can. Greetings from Germany!
Aprilia i know you see what you have done! Stay at it! You have a new customer here!
I have an older RSV 1000R and every time I get back home after a ride I have a perma grin ear to ear!! Would love to try these new 660’s

Was looking at the Panigale for my track and sport riding but the more I see about the RS660, the more I think I would enjoy it more day in day out.
God bless Aprillia!

Moto che sicuramente ha una grande ciclistica. Se poi ci metti sopra dei veri piloti. Brava Aprilia
Good looking bike!! Needs to be closer to 12k dollars out the door though instead of mid 13s (in U.S.)

Yes they are removable and replaceable.
What brand and model camera where they using ?
I love Aprilia india

Nice.
Does it come with a fuel gauge?
yes it does ( according to MCN)
@@steveallan3306 Awesome, I wonder if they can apply this amazing technology to their 1100s ;)
Don’t need a fuel gauge. Basically if you own an Aprilia you should probably stop to fill up at every other gas station!
How can I buy this bike in South Korea???

Only Ducati Supersport S 939 👌🏻
.....
those bikes sound boring like an ATV
Aprilia builds "fun" bikes, not competitive bikes.
Rs 125, rs 250, rsv mille '98, rsv 1000 2004, rsv4...then tuono v60 and tuono v4....not competitive ahahahahah they were only the best bike...
