I think it depends on how extensive of a build you’d want to do, and your ability as a rider. A 660 in stock trim and would be plenty for a track day rider even an entry level racer! But if it were me I’d try and get this and go from there!
It’s probably a wash with similar components. It just depends on if you can resell the OEM stuff, or not, at a decent price. And how capable you are doing the build yourself and what your labor time is worth. And how confident you are in it being done right. This thing is guaranteed to come out well right out of the box. Very unlikely you will have to work through bugs etc. like on your build or someone else’s.
Lol, there’s a few relatively cheap lap timer bracket options. There’s one made by 457 Racing that has a little thing that goes around the top of the fork tube. Can he even see through those zip ties? Lol.
Man! It’s gonna sound completely different, usually displacement, rev limit, and firing order effect unique sound of a motor. Some MotoGP Bikes (with “identical” motors either v4 or inline built to spec) sound different to one another! Thanks for watch please subscribe!
Honestly, who cares what a bile sounds like when cold starting. Its what it sounds like when warmed up that matters. That's why we buy new exhausts. Come on now guy. Stop trying to do what everyone else is doing. Stand on your own two feet. ✌🏾
Would it be cheaper to buy this or get an RS660 and fully prep it into a track bike with specs similar to this?

Sick camera placement, filming straight down the asfalt 😅 Bike looks sick though 🎉
Lol! Was using a makeshift helmet mount it was not ideal! Thanks for watching!
What a sick bike! Great exhaust! I also really like the zip-tied aim solo. 😄😄

This was a friends bike, he let me ride for the day, I wasn’t about to buy him a lap timer mount!!! 🤣

Cold starting the motor gives a distinctly different sound than when hot! Some people like it! Thanks for watching!
lol, what a pointless criticism.
