1:07 man, the way that chorus with male vocal kicks in when David took off his jacket and gave that dude a headshot😩
Yeaaa
Bro that scene turns this into David's post timeskip pre goofy suit theme song
@@litpotat5601 pre goofy ahh suit
@@litpotat5601 his goofy suit sucked.
Heard the song for the first time in the Afterlive, and loved it immediately
Heard the song for the second time in the anime and loved it again
@@synthwave_junkie5010 Heard the song for the third time in Phantom Liberty and loved it again
Not Cyberpunk if it without 80's hardcore punk music.
-Abram Lincoln
What in the everloving christ are you talking about.
It's more like noisecore
I thought Sun Tzu said that
This is nothing like '80s hardcore. Everything changed in 1998 with Refused's (who perform all of Samurai's music in Cyberpunk. Go figure) _The Shape of Punk to Come_ . The Armed (Homeschool Dropouts is basically a pseudonym and don't actually exist separate from The Armed as far as I know) are as modern as hardcore gets; _ULTRAPOP_ is about as modern-sounding a record as I've ever heard.
I'm pretty sure Lincoln had better english AND could spell his own name.
It makes me so happy that The Armed are a part of this soundtrack
cyberpunk 2077 is a part of the arms corpus
They actually live in the world
the armed and cdpr, it's like the perfect combination
And converge!!!!
@@audiencepleasepodcast Can confirm, living in Detroit these days is a lot like Night City.
I need to admire that cyberpunk has one of the best soundtracks of all games. Way better than gta v.
Hope it wins best soundtrack of 2021
Facts
The OST from Witcher were pretty good too, CDprojekt is good to this.
Why would you even compare it to GTA V? GTA V's soundtrack is literally trash you hear on any random radio station as soon as you turn the radio on.
@@DiePinky yes, I played gta v and I think its soundtrack is boring.

You are a fucking godsend.
Thank you, Choom!
Lyrics detected. Thanks choom.
Thank you so much for this.
how can you understand that?
Entering Afterlife, hearing the part at 1.07 settled for me this song as THE Afterlife song
1:07 "little birds... Aren't you scared?... Did you never learn to fly? Allow me to teach you!" Make my blood boils and hair stand up. Epic scene with a perfect soundtrack.
“Thanks choom, I know how to fly just fine.”
“Them new leg implants are looking damn fine.”
"Hoo HOO NOVA! choo choo choo POW choo choo choo POW choo choo choo POW"
@@laarianemaha2017 runs in *dies*
@henry kilan they wrote themselves into a corner they knew Julio would be too powerful for Smasher.
Cyberpunk has definitely got the best ost that I have ever heard in any game, every single ambient track hits, every song that plays at key parts of the story hits, every combat track hits, and of course, all of the radio stations are filled to the brim with high quality songs that are actually good and don't suck, and fit into the world perfectly; just makes the world feel even more immersive.
Homeschool Dropouts is just a good band name
This is now effectively Rebecca's theme and you absolutely cannot convince me otherwise
nope this is the theme of V killing adam fucking smasher
@@300jeffhardy ironic
I just came here from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners but it's only Becca shooting stuff vid where this plays and it really fits her well.
Becca and David theme*
I like to Imagine Rebecca is singing
To me this is Rebecca's theme!
Same
The song. Night city would be one she likes. At the start all you hear is. David david david. Plus she is a danger pretty.
Hahaha this song has her energy though.
Yeeeee-haw!!
To me, YOUR FUCKING WRONG
Absolutely
This chorus always gives me goosebumps, great tempo, great beat and great melody. And the drum fill is just incredible. Amazing song.
I can fly just fine choom
The drum-work from this band is the best dude.
Definitely ❤ 🥁
Fr tho
DON'T EVER SACRIFICE THE RAGE OF YOUTH
rage of youth is their best song to this day imo
D.E.S.T.R.O.Y. IS A WAY OF LIFE FRIEND

Who comes here after listening this in episode 7 of Cyberpunk Edgerunners?
Me,THAT SHIT ROCKS!!!
@@callmejinsei_ Absolutely, bro!🤘🏻
I'm listening it's banger on start of game, but now... Yes. Headshot from David is sick
Perfect for speeding through the badlands!
The Afterlife has the best songs in the game
Awesome
David...
1:08 this part goes so hard
I saw this live! The energy of the band was crazy they rocked the house!
You know who's the vocalist?? I've been looking for months 😔
@@SadSatan11Tony. Wolski❤
If there was Cyberpunk 2077 x Tony Hawk crossover event for Pro Skater 1+2 - this song should be in it!
You know what this needs? A music video with some punks being chased by Arasaka trucks and drones while using their hoverboards around night city.
@@gijose95 totally agree with ya!
@@gijose95omg that would be awesome 🛷♥️
Such a great idea!
2:06 I've been rewinding the song to this point and playing it from there for the past hour
U mean 1:10 as well
them sneaky lil blastbeats at 2:27 and 2:50 fill me with such joy, like correct me if I'm wrong. but I swear I've never heard a blast beat in a game soundtrack before this one, but not only that ritual FM is basically blastbeat the radio station, its a day i thought id never see.
It's Ben Koller on the drums, this is explains everything.
Greatest band on Earth.
no
@@proudtitanicdenier4300 yes
@@proudtitanicdenier4300 why not?
"The armed and homeschool dropouts" lmao, thats so funny and accurate at the same time in a morbid way
its performed by the real band "The Armed" but their in-game band in the cyberpunk universe is "Homeschool Dropouts", so the title is just misleading lol.
@@jeff-nz3ij yeah ik thats whats funny
The drums are so fucking good
I seriously think this is David’s theme…not Rebecca’s (which I can see why) but I think this is his specifically is because of one pair of lyrics “I pull the trigger and I feel nothing” he’s been killing all sorts of people and feeling nothing for it…until later the past starts to haunts him…catching up to him…
“Just keep running”
“An oath sworn in scars”
Idk if it is his theme or Rebecca’s but I feel like the song is in David’s direction…the song mostly plays with him using the time implant (so maybe that’s why I think it’s his too)
i think it is fair to say that the chorus is david's theme and the rest is all becca, honestly
@@clownbone I also was kinda thinking of that too! (Afterwards I mean) Minds think alike! ^^
The parts with the female shouting lyrics plays a lot over Becca, and the chorus goes over David, both fit one another, so I think its meant to be both, given the two have a special bond and are shown to basically do every job together after ep 6.
All the people killed so far were monsters, the only time I saw David had emotions in killing was the mother nurse who was murdered by him and that Animal but that was more of a flashback than anything else.
Seeing how this song came out before the anime, this song sounds more like a theme for the Nomads, i mean, "Cross-country Caravan, Night City Aliens" is kinda their whole thing, roaming around the NUSA's desserts, being unwelcomed by Night City as a whole.
this song goes very hard
greetings from night city
i hate corpos so much it's unreal
This is my favorite song in the game, I love the chorus and I love the drums. So good.
Been looking for this ever since I watched episode 7 of edgerunners
Walk into a rock shop or club in night city you'll hear this
AND NOW HERE COME THE BIG GUNS!
“No thanks, Choom. I know how to fly just fine.”
David Martinez - Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
Perfect music for Rebecca.
SO GOOD. I'm listening to the NC radios while I'm waiting for the dlc and this song always get repeated when it comes on
wow this song is amazing, so much adrenaline
one of the best compositions in cyberpunk
I'm pressing F to pay respect to my ears. But still I love this song. XD
"Did you never learn to fly?"
No thanks choom i know how to fly just find
after searching for this for forever, i finally heard it in the afterlife again
1:48 this part started playing just after I used suicide in the last tiger claw of a random bar and God lord that just make the whole leave the area full of dead bodies like super badass
One of my favorite songs on the radio when doing gigs!
This is probably my favorite song on the soundtrack. Love the female vocals, makes me think of ATR's Sick to Death.
This song makes me want to run to the edge
Great song, instant favorite.
I love this song
Heard this when I was on a gig stealing back some of Johnny’s things and was scared. But now I can appreciate it for what it’s worth
i once played this on my phone at full volume and speakers where on. i could hear it come from the small speakers at the other end of the house.
This is incredible
If Rebecca from Edgerunners had a theme song, it’d be this
This is so good
Love this, reminds me of crystal castles at beginning
is there a name for this genre? with screaming

first heard this song on the edgerunners anime...my go to song ingame now
Очень сильно напомнило мне "Vaux - Are You with Me"
This has to be my favorite CP77 song
That song is so perfect for did a One man VS Army. I've fight a full gang's Lair with my hacking, katana and that song.
I honestly thought this was a Kap Bambino song at first, But still this song was the reason why Radio Vexelstrom is my favourite station
"Please Kiwi.. thank you Kiwi.."
The best song in this great game
Nice song.
This is fucking awesome
What the.. this actually sounds amazing! Cane here to find it's actually from Cyberpunk.
⋈
Monarch moment
No ins no outs
I thought this was Poppy for the female vocals at first. Sounds just like her when she screams.
Neo Stormwind brought me here
"No thanks choom, I know how to fly just fine."
Only love, fam
What a banger. Holy shit….
This song has a Kap Bambino vibe with the vocalist, but... I still need me some Kap Bambino in the clubs of Night City. B2 Riddim of Madness and Hunger Texas. Yes PLEASE.
Kinda reminds me of 'Yuk Foo' by Wolf Alice. Fairy similar vibe
🎶🔥🎶
Definitely the heaviest shit I've heard on Vexelstrom FM ❤
Gives me a ton of Need For Speed vibes, but like the Underground 1/2 ones!
What genre of music is this? I hear it often for many many many years now and I never know what to search to hear more
By genre I mean, the vocalist - her voice has this garbled low-quality kind of filter to it, noisy, grainy, distorted.. It's very iconic and there are many songs I've heard with this same kind of feel - it's like an underground music party grunge kind of vibe.
Hardcore punk
"TINY BIRDS, DID YOU NEVER LEARN TO FLY? *TIME FOR ME TO TEACH YOU!!!* "
“No thanks choom I know how to fly just fine”
@@josiahcowans6649 That was such a good scene, my favorite part was when David said, "Its Edgerunning time," and started Edgerunning everyone, made me have a stroke in excitement.
Does anyone know anymore of homeschool dropouts music? I cant find anything, its like this is the only thing theyve done.
Homeschool Dropouts is a pseudonym used for the game. The actual band is just The Armed.
@@poseidonson13 ohhhhh I didnt know. Thats actually really cool
She sounds like Alice from Crystal Castles
Alice Glass disowned Crystal Castles but she still makes killer music. She got a bit edgelord tho
@@jeffbrownstain i dont think "edgelord" is the best way to describe Alice Glass, but yeah, she kinda took more inspiration from edgy stuff at least for the last things ive heard from her, but she kinda still has those punky vocals
reminds me the band CSS with the song Odio Odio Odio
dunno why but it give me jet set radio vibe
"I'll make another hole in your head."
-David Martinez
cherry bomb vibes
~dances~
Reminds me of Sex-bob-omb
Electronic hardcore industrial rock is the best cyberpunk music
racing game theme if I ever heard one lol
the song sounds like it would belong in sunset overdrive
If the Boyz went to night city...
Does anyone know if Alice Glass from Crystal Castles possibly sang on here? heard it the first time in Edgerunners anime and was a little startled
