I'd like to think that the Snow Cat 'King' is identified as a King, because of his 'Crown' - a pair of majestic antlers decorated in icicles and baubles, maybe even trophies from a successful hunt. Lore states that every generation one of the King's many sons should be destined to grow their own crown, but no one knows who it is until they start to grow in at the beginning of adulthood or adolescence. Maybe the Prince (the one that is the main protagonist) grows *his* antlers by the end of the book and rises to become the new King.
I don't know much about what direction you want to take your story in, so take with you what you want from my idea or maybe even nothing at all, it is *your* story after all. But it's what I would like to imagine happening anyway, in my own alternate universe. Loving the art, keep up the good work!
what if when theyre kits theyre as white as the snow but as they get older they get some blue colouration?
Vrictel i think i might do the opposite! It will fit better with the story. And i actually found a fawn colour in kittens that start dark with stripes and ends up almost white :D
If they were white then blue but im imagining their mother looking for them in the snow and they are just completely invisible
Honestly, I think that's a good idea. Mainly because baby's need to blend more in the wild, and, the mother would be able to smell or hear her baby so you don't have to worry about that. Plus animals normally get their colour when they grow up so ye...
HEY tip for expressions change his pupil size like aad is HUGE pupils happy is medium scared is small dunno just a tip 😁

Dilated Pupils
Dilated (large) pupils often indicate an excited cat. It can also be a display of surprise or fear, depending on the situation. It is not unusual for a cat’s pupils to fully dilate when they are really excited.
Constricted Pupils
Constricted pupils can indicate your cat is agitated or angry. If your cat’s eyes are big and round and their pupils are the size of pinpricks, watch out!

I feel like in terms of expressions, maybe thinking less "human esque" and more "cat like" for instance when a cat is happy, they don't smile in the way humans do. When I think of a happy cat I think closed eyes, head slightly tilted up, and the barest hint of a closed smile. Cats when they're happy, look content.
I hope that makes sense, I really love your designs.
While your video was playing, I was kind of beginning to design the main character for a small project I might keep working on if things turn out well . . . Your Draw w/ Me series really inspire me, you’re great, Dina, and one of my favourite youtubers alongside with JelArts. So my idea for a short project is the following; it’s about a boy, and he gets a frog for his birthday (age? still unknown), and while he wanted another pet he still starts playing with the frog and, after realising he’s spending too much time with the frog, he begins to turn into a frog himself 🐸 🐸 🐸 😆

I would love a winter/Christmas sticker sheet of little kettle cats 😍 maybe with those wintery patterns people use on knit sweaters? I love the Princes little horns and the big name is stellar 💜 i can take some wintery photos here for scenery inspo if you want haha winter is in full swing already and I live right next to a bunch of forests. I did an expression sheet of Marsha in the last power outage and omg do I need to get better practice at that! These look great! "How the cat prince lost his stripes" lol I have a little basic pan pastel set and I have no idea how to use them lol 💜💜💜 thanks for the draw along!
I was pleasantly surprised to discover we share a same main source of inspiration: Alessandro Barbucci! And yet out art couldn't be more different :D it's kind of funny! Watching you sketch out the expressions was so wonderful. Seeing the struggle and the triumphs, and not to mention the asmr pencil 😍 but yea this video was so good, I couldn't look away!
If you want to take care of your plant everyday you should give it water and give it sunlight that's all I know oh and I loved this TH-cam channel it's so cool
I loooove these! My favourite was the very first on that you drew and I'd love if you explored him a bit more, he was a bit pointier (if that makes sense?) and it made a great contrast with the main character in the coloured piece, who was so round and fluffy! It might be interesting that difference, as they grow older their look changes and becomes more angular and "pointy" (a bit more reptilian, or less common cat. Also that concept coul work wonders when you draw all the brothers together, so the oldest would have many crests, his ears and snout narrower and a bit longer and then you have the younger brother, very cat-like, softer and rounder, smaller crests and a bit bigger eyes.
The big ones that you drew in the final art I'd imagine they would be in the middle, grown up but not in their final form, kinda like very young adults cause they are rounder than the first one.
Btw, are you gonna define individually every bother (besides the youngest)? I will they have distinctive looks and personalities or are they gonna be like a group? Sorry for the long comment, I just got super excited about this!
So the young cats have stripes to show they are young.. much like a fawn would have spots. Adorable, and logical.
Why shouldn't you be supposed to love your own ideas? It astonished me when you said that. I love how this turned out. Love watching your progress.

OMG I LOVE PUTTING RANDOM CREATURES TOGETHER AS WELL ^^ I absolutely love your art style and love to commission artists to make my ideas come to life XD I also love making creatures and their info...and making stories including them XD The first sketch of your snow cat prince (adult version) is absolutely beautiful!
love your inspirational ideas. I have a beautiful larger domestic nordic snow lion (Norwegian Forest Cat) that I now have to create an art piece of. and I think I will have to put wings on that sketch, because he seems to know how to fly when he's running and climbing.
Hello there! First timer to your channel here :) And I have to say I love seeing you go through your creation progress! Personally, I like seeing the "road walked upon" before the final result. It really interests me a lot as it helps me get into the rhythm and feel of it all a bit more. I would love to be able to create my own characters but somehow I haven't been able to do it, but seeing video's like this works really inspirational. So thank you for that :D
This is a bit late so I doubt you'll see this, but just a suggestion: perhaps make each of his brothers a different color of blue. Like purply-blue versus grey-blue versus warm-blue, etc... and then make the snow cat prince completely white. Just to add more contrast.

I like how this design really resembles with the Ligth Fury dragon, but its completly original and apart from it, like, just looking you can see the traits and diferences of each reference she used.
The Ligth Fury haven't been inventend back the time of the vid, but, seeing it similarity in the drawings caugth my atention.

This is amazing!! As soon as I saw your video I clicked on it 😍 it was like a call to my soul. When I was younger me and my best friend played together not Snow Cats but Snow Tigers. I always wanted to draw a concept art out of this also because my favorite movie is Lion King 😁 but never got to it. Maybe I should work on it.... 🤔

I love your sketch with me videos! I think what could really help you is doing a stream on the little snow prince, that way we can suggest things that we think would be cool, and maybe help you with your story. Just a suggestion though, you don't have to do anything you don't want to!

I really love these videos and seeing how you come to the end result of your designs. As an artist I struggle with the idea that everyone just has ideas all ready in their minds and only have to draw them and I can't do that. This makes the process so much more realistic and beautiful! :D

the younger kit could still have its egg tooth! it relates to the reptillian angle your going for.however it doesnt really work if its live born.its a horn of sorts that allows for the baby to puncture and tear the shell of its egg.it falls af with maturity!!

Also about that flower... It's caled monstera deliciosa. It's originally from jungle so it likes more shade so put it somewhere in the corner or something... It will also grow really big it's originally climbing on trees - it's a beautiful plant. And about watering it likes a lot of water... :) (Btw: this flower can get scared... it was in some kind of detective story or something where they had this flower somewhere conected to some machines and when the murderer came to the same room suddenly that flower transmited signals of being scared :D)
