- I've been sick the last week but that couldn't stop me from doing another creature design! Raccoon, Pangolin and axolotl = water niffler??

Name, The Pirate Fiend.
Backstory, Known for hitching rides on the ships of pirates and running to anywhere that spells of booze, treasure and all things fun, the water scavenger, more commonly known as the Pirate Fiend, Is a feisty little beast with its own sense of humor. Many pirates take them aboard their ships as companions for their friendly demeanor and nose for valuables. Though they are a rare find, so most pirates who find them are quite lucky.
It looks like a little River Squirrel! I love this adorable design :) and congrats on 100k

I met a Pangolin when I was in Zimbabwe! They're so gorgeous and shy. His carer loves him like another child, and they can't be separated or the little pangolin gets really sad. He carried the pangolin in a backpack, it was adorable!

Armoured Sea Looter
A creature living near shores, rivers and ponds, its home is burrowed deep between the roots of trees. The Armoured Sea Looter cannot breathe underwater, yet it spends its days walking on the sea floor, looting for corals, snails, shells, and dead fish. The scales on its back protect the Sea Looter from predators and more aggressive creatures trying to defend their habitat. The Armoured Sea Looters often have massive collections of shells, pearls, and pretty stones to attract mates.
Did you know Toothless from HTTYD design was based of an axolotl!
Also, if you've seen either "Mr. Peabody and Sherman" or "Castle in the Sky", Toothless' wing and tail design were based off of the plane-like flying machines. And his personality is based off a cat.
Also, the creators say they also based him heavily on a cat!

It looks so cute! I imagine it lives in small ponds and feeds off of larvae or small crustaceans, since pangolins use their sticky tongues to eat insects. And every now and then they walk over to the next pond to eat there :>

I haven’t been drawing at all this year but I remembered how much I liked drawing with you in the background so I started again today and drew sketch after sketch, started organizing references on Pinterest like you do and really got back into it (for now at least) and I want to thank you for that.
