The racial allegory fact is partly a misconception. Later on the X-men did become an allegory for persecuted races, homosexuality, and so on, but Jack Kirby when he created (yes he created them, Stan Lee gets more glory than he deserved) the X-Men he drew a lot of things from his life growing up as a young Jewish kid that faced a lot of anti-Semitism going on at the time. Not to mention the fact that the X-Men came out very close to the Doom Patrol, which did have similar themes of persecution from people that didn't understand them, and I chalk that up to Marvel and DC having freelance people working in both offices sharing the ideas. Not really... He made his movies a darker tone and that's about it. He made the Joker kill Batman's parents. Batman barely did any detective work and was always reactive to crimes instead of proactive. Catwoman was too psychotic and not enough of a "cat burglar". Penguin was too monstrous and not enough of a criminal gangster. Plus Batman killed WAY too much. And in what world would Batman watch from a rooftop as two muggers held up a mom, dad and son at gunpoint and let it happen? I'm not saying that Singer is much better but going back and watching Tim Burton Batman movies and comparing them to the comics at the time, it's hard not to see how Un-Batman his movies are.

Later on the X-men did become an allegory for persecuted races, homosexuality, and so on, but Jack Kirby when he created (yes he created them, Stan Lee gets more glory than he deserved) the X-Men he drew a lot of things from his life growing up as a young Jewish kid that faced a lot of anti-Semitism going on at the time. Not to mention the fact that the X-Men came out very close to the Doom Patrol, which did have similar themes of persecution from people that didn't understand them, and I chalk that up to Marvel and DC having freelance people working in both offices sharing the ideas. Like i said, misconception, so not entirely wrong.

Racial allegory and homophobia is synonymous with Anti-Semitism. It's all hatred, fear and intolerance. Same thing.

My favorite fact would have to be that Magneto trained the original new mutants to be x-men back in the 80s.
X-men #1 was sold so high because that was Jim Lee's greatest moment as an artist!!! Not only did he do the greatest cover, he also did the entire book!! Most dope artist do the cover only.. lol!!

Tim Burton and Robert Rodriguez would've given stronger visual films and that didn't focus on one character and had actual character development... Oh and most importantly they would've stayed true to the comics

Not really... He made his movies a darker tone and that's about it.
He made the Joker kill Batman's parents. Batman barely did any detective work and was always reactive to crimes instead of proactive. Catwoman was too psychotic and not enough of a "cat burglar". Penguin was too monstrous and not enough of a criminal gangster. Plus Batman killed WAY too much.
And in what world would Batman watch from a rooftop as two muggers held up a mom, dad and son at gunpoint and let it happen?
I'm not saying that Singer is much better but going back and watching Tim Burton Batman movies and comparing them to the comics at the time, it's hard not to see how Un-Batman his movies are.
