This has to be the best figure from PotP. It's like a walking bible of Nemesis Prime references.

Fun fact the head in the combined form is actually the same one from the toxitron figure from FunPub, which originally was supposed to be for a nemesis prime, so that head sculpt came full circle.

The arm guns and Dark Saber are a reference to his appearance in the Unicorn Trilogy and Giza is his minicon in the Japan exclusive TF Prime toy.

a smorgasbord of nemesis prime references.
His headsculpt is meant to evoke the Decepticon insignia.
So that's why he looks like soundwave...
For those who don't know, the Decepticon symbol is based on Soundwave and the Autobot symbol is based on Ratchet.

I personally love the Nemesis Prime version the most, and you get more accessories for the same price as regular prime. Also, you can use the Ion Blaster as a turret gun over the shoulder.

I've got g1 prime, insecticons, white astrotrain and hot rod boxed all my others are incomplete and missing bits like hook,cyclonus, soundwaves glass has cracked, and about four mini primes. Wish I had th money and space for a proper display

The figure wakes a lot of memories for me back when I had the Nemesis Prime figure from Armada since he got those wrist cannons homages to the Armada figure. Sadly he broke and is now just Nemesis ''One leg'' Prime

After getting This figure for Christmas I have to be honest I really didn't know at the time if I was gonna want him (cuz I never really cared for Nemisis Prime ) but I have to say he's definitely now one of my new favorites. The one real reason I like this figure is he's not just a repaint he really is actually remolded to be his own character
Just to let y'all know Fans hobby is coming up with their take of Armada Optimus Prime, and yes it can combine with it's trailer to form Super Optimus Prime, as seen in the cartoon, man so much nostalgia. Also it will be fully articulated, not like the leading brand, Hasbro, where it's just a huge block.

There is apparently only one other Decepticon whose face is more obviously and explicitly based on the Decepticon sigil, and that Decepticon is Tarn

This is possibly one of my favourite prime moulds in recent years. If nothing else they at least put a little effort to differentiate nemesis from Optimus by giving him a new head sculpt, would have been nice if they had done a bit more though (other than the accessories)
Emgo, I have already gotten Nemesis Prime in early March. I thought you are done with Power of the Primes, aren't you? And you know this Nemesis Prime has the elements from Armada, Prime and POTP, double-barreled cannons & dark star saber from Armada, Giza from Prime and the entire figure from POTP

Took me forever to figure out how to store Giza
Nemisis prime is cool but i would like ti see a rid scourge repaint of the voyager prime. Him coming with a red sword insted of the ax. The leader prime or armada style prime could be nemisis prime.
I love this figure, the only issue with mine is my Nemesis Pax figure came with two right forearms and hands.
Okay, the original POTP Optimus Prime is perfectly fine by itself, but that black repaint makes it look better.

When he first transformed him without the added truck parts I was like “that doesn’t look like Optimus?!?! The obligatory product shots lied to me!”
Way-ooh! I was listening to that just the other day.
I used to not care about the odd black bad guy repaints of the good guy leader characters either Emgo. They'd been doing them for a while in Japan, and the whole evil clone thing just didn't do it for me. It wasn't until 2001's Robots in Disguise/Car Robots, where they had that character as a regular member of the cast and made him somewhat complex and interesting -- IMHO at least -- that I really got into him.
So, when this guy was announced last year, I was all over him. Pre-ordering him and the rest of Amazon's Transformers exclusives as soon as I could. An excellent figure for the $49.99 I paid at the time. Though I'm not sure that he's worth the $95 secondary market prices that he goes for now.
His face is the shape of a decepticon symbol

He is heavily inspired by the Armada Nemesis Prime but placed into a G1 body. Giza is prolly from TF Prime Arms Micron toys.

Compare the Decepticon Symbol to this Nemesis Prime's head and you'll see a resemblance.
It's kinda like a cross between Optmus Prime, Armada prime and Motormaster, kickass!!!!

The reason nemesis prime is basicly the same toy as optimus, is because nemesis prime is an optimus prime clone.

I didn't know about this till recently too but the ankles have a locking mechanism. Just push the ankles back and they should lock!

Awesome vid for an awesome fig. You have to get the ToyHax sticker set for this guy, you will not regret it, it totally makes him even more awesome(plus it REALLY makes the trailer look better). Enjoy.
I'm sure a ton of people already said this but to stop myself from going crazy I have to tell you that the ankles actually snap into place if you push them in a bit. I was having trouble keeping the figure stable in some poses at first until I found this out.
then just #scrolldown. that's no the problem though. the actual joint his foot is on is what's loose. the locking point has nothing to do with that.

I just realized that my version of Nemesis Prime's windshields though still blood red transparent, they are also covered with mechanical details like Nemesis Pax' chest, while this version's windshield is just plain blood red transparent plastic. Were those differences due to them being one from the US and the other from Japan? Cause I still bought mine in BBTS but I noticed that my box though had the multiple language it also had Japanese texts and instead of Hasbro it had Takara Tomy. I'm sure not complaining, I'm just curious.
It's not in the instructions, but I think the arms are supposed to tab into the chest plate in vehicle mode. The tabs line up perfectly with the slots on the hands and it looks better.
