The ending skit's plot is probably a lot better than the eventual Power of the Primes season.

I love that head sculpt, but I can't keep from thinking that it looks like it belongs on a constructicon from the Transformers Animated universe.

I feel like this guy needs an upgrade kit that gives him a pipe for a weapon, a cigarette, a Biker's Bandanna, and some chains to use as a weapon or to wrap around his body, as well as stickers to represent tattoos

I am so glad you do these reviews, it really helps with making choices on which to get and I'm now convinced that Rodimus Unicronus is the one to get.
I have to agree, he actually looks so much better in these colors, the main thing that I dislike about the original, other than the Hot Rod mode, was the orange near his shoulders and a plain ugly face. This has an improved face, and my issue with the orange standing out is obviously taken care of, so I'll definitely get this version if any of the two.
It would be really awesome if they did a nemesis prime version of Optimus prime

I love that head sculpt. Totally looks like Tom Savini LOL. My thing with these two Rodimus mold figures is that now I want to see what it would look like if you mixed and matched the parts.
I'm glad Hasbro hasn't forgotten Shattered Glass. Sadly they made him a Decepticon instead of giving him the Shattered Glass Autobot symbol

Honestly I wish they would do this in a live Action movie, I know alot of people liked the Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime thing but he really didn't deserve the leadership the way they've made Bumblebee nowadays though he's actually earned the right of Moving up from scout, to operative,to leader class, to next bearer of the Matrix which would make a good motivation for Rodimus to embrace Unicron and a Dark Matrix instead.....eh but what do we know we're just fans. Good work on this vid

I just noticed that the arrows on Hot Rod's shoulders and legs point up, while they point down on Nemesis Hot Rod's. Also, I definitely appreciate that the Rodimus fists blend in to the Winnebago color scheme better. I wonder what Hot Rod looks like plugged into Rodimus Unicronus' trailer?...

Mine just came in the mail today. I just started collecting Transformers again a few months ago because I stopped playing and started getting older than I want to be and when I saw this one I needed it. He has my Lemmy Pop figures displayed next to him lol.

Somehow the evil Rodimus voice at the end seems to fit what I would imagine perfectly.

Frankly speaking, I would prefer the engraved decals than stickers that could be easily removed.

Yeah, this mold works way better in this color scheme than as Rodimus. Reminds me a LoBo, the main man himself. Makes me wish someone would drawn Unicronus in either Bruce Timm's or Keith Giffen's style.

Some possible thoughts about it:
- Hot Rod/ Rodimus borrowing Motormaster's paint job;
- As other comments said, DC's Lobo as a Decepticon;
- A transformer version of Village People's biker (or some bikers of the Blue Oyster bar, from the "Police Academy" movies).
With the Leg Articulation in terms of swinging forwards and backwards, the legs can swing further backwards than you showed. All you gotta do is open up the “backpack” that’s stopping the legs going further and then the legs can swing all the way back 😊
The head sculpt looks like a combination of the old LoBo combine with Macho Man Randy Savage !

So Rodimus Unicronus is an '80s WWF wrestler? Funny, the head sculpt reminded me more of Transformers Animated Constructicons rather than a wrestler.
Not sure why they marketed the toy as Rodimus Unicronus, but they named the character Rodimus Cron on the cartoon. On the plus side, I love Shattered Glass Rod...I mean Rodimus Unicronus!

The Nemesis Hotrod, they should've painted his chin, it's cool that the bigger version got the mustache. Yeah, that does look a lot meaner in combined form, looks like a Hell's Angel biker, he needs some chain & spikes. If the Hotrod lower arms were black, they'd hide better into the bigger body's torso.

Hi Emgo, I got mine the other day based on your recommendation. He's a great figure, my only concern is the flame stickers applied to the trailer/backpack of the Evolution Armor. At the top of the stickers they are coming away from the plastic slightly in some places. Not a big issue just yet but if the stickers peel further then it will be a bit more of a concern. Is there any form of adhesive that could fix the stickers that you know of? I do want to keep this guy in good condition.

To me, the face of Nemesis Hot Rod reminds me of Shiro Hagen from the X-Bomber/Star Fleet series from the early 80s, and the face of Rodimus Unicronus reminds me of Lemmy, the lead singer from Motorhead.
i like watching your videos even when i already have the toy because i enjoy your jokes and skits , also just rotate the leg piece and the shoulder joints are fixed an work great, i did it to both of mine and there is no problem with arm movement in fact they actually work better .
