The last time I heard about this 'type of man' was on The Bachelor...remember Colton Underwood? I just find it extremely rare and I'm very skeptical of a man posting shirtless on social media and being a heterosexual virgin. Sorry I had to say it.

I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ when my son was 3. I didn’t want him to be a man that had babies by different women and wasn’t married to any of them. The only way I knew how was to get saved.
I received the Holy Ghost in 1998 and my life has never been the same- and neither was my son- by Gods grace.
He was raised with the fear of God- and never gave me any problems. If we want to have black men who are virgins and husbands, it’s starts at home.
Last month, my son married as a virgin to a virgin. The wedding was beautiful. They’ve known each other from Church since he was 9 and she was 5 and God put a love there.
He waited on the Lord for his wife.
I thank God for the victory in Christ Jesus. Not only did God give my son a wife but he gave me the daughter I always wanted too. 🙏🏾💕

I wish men had more views of purity. I feel like women are encouraged for there purity but men aren't. I find this brother refreshing. I hope I find a man that is walking in purity.

Awesome episode for real!!!! Thats really sad that a lot of women believe that men don't like women with children. I'll be 44 in December and I realize that most women my age have children. As a matter of fact I'm blessed to currently be in an awesome relationship with an incredible woman, and she has an awesome 15 year old son. Even before me and her became a couple I've been blessed to sow into and pour into her son's life as a mentor, and as a reflection to him of what a godly man looks like.. And I know that God is not only showing me how to be the man and future husband that He's called me to be and that she needs me to be, but also to be that godly father figure that He has called me to be and that her son needs me to be
My sister sent this to me this morning. I knew male virgins existed outside of high school. 😌 LOL And there is nothing wrong with me for being a virgin and waiting until marriage! I’ve come across the male version of me…and I love it! From (1) virginity and waiting until marriage to (2) mindset, values, and what you’re looking for (3) to even just the things you like to do for fun. This makes me soooooo happy and gives me soooooo much more hope going forward.

I didnt wait, I do sometimes feel like Ive disappointed or robbed my husband of part of me but cant change the past but I can be intentional about my present and future. Ive pledged to God Im waiting till marriage and Im putting the choice of who I marry in his hands. When he's ready he will send him, and I firmly believe he will let me know thats the one. Its to fullfill a purpose in his kingdom so who better to know the right parts to put together, that the designer who has the image of the finished product in mind.

I get a double dose from. I'm 51 after being married and been with my husband for 30 years and 4 handsome boys they all be past 18 in three years. God is sooo worth having in hard times and definitely good times.
You guys are very funny. If everyone wants the super fine woman or guy. Who is going to marry the “ugly” ones? Thank God it’s written in 1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
If you really want God’s will in choosing a spouse you have to surrender that ideology of s/he has to be this and that. I know is not easy because I faced the same challenges. What matters in a spouse is how much they love Jesus & the beauty that comes from their heart. God will not meet all the expectations you have! If you are serious about meeting a godly spouse then give your fleshly desires away and see what happens within a few months.

Regardless of the disappointments I have had in past relationships, God always wants to show me that He is going to exceed my expectations this time because the more I am in communion with Him, fasting, improving who I am in Him, keep building my relationship with Him, enjoying where I am, even though it is not where I want to be stay, I know that God rewards our obedience. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙇🏽♀️💓

P.S. my beloved beautiful son Armoniluciano’ was murdered last year and he was 28 years old a very bright and advanced young man who loved the lord and now is with His Heavenly Father… I miss him like no other!! Being a single mother was totally worth everything and I’m so proud of him still…

I think most virgins who are into their twenties/thirties have had some close calls ...... i was virgin when i married at 32yrs. But men (and women) need to understand there are not a lot of female virgins either in their twenties/thirties.
This is phenomenal. Its baffles me that society has ostracized men and women that decides to hold their body for marriage. Married for 13 years, divorced for 11 and decided to rededicate my body back to Christ and not have sex until I get married to the right Godly man. I said re-dedicate because I broke the vow to God to hold my body before I married with a man that had no intentions of marrying me after college; found out that he had plenty of other women. My ex-husband and I did not have sex before we married, and after I got divorced, I came close but stopped it, literally, I just remembered the covenant I made with God, he means everything to me. Its been 11 years, I will WAIT and have waited until I get married again. God has him out there. This man is amazing, Glory to God for his life. This is an awesome Black Man.
Hi. Can you make a podcast with 10 women. 3 young women single 18-22. How they view their future husbands to be. 4 other women 30-40. Who have had failed relationships. And 3 elderly women (55-65) succesfully married for 30 years.
Let us see the mistakes we make because of the lack of wisdom... Thank you. May the Lord provide these volunteers for this podcast in Jesus name...
I did not know whether to hold back tears or to laugh throughout the episode. The tears are because Christoper (Chris) has the same name and temperament of my brother who passed away Christmas 2019. He was filled with so much wisdom and knowledge. I was just thinking about what advice he would give me about “knowing” what to look for in a man who is intentional about me. And look how God answered just a simple thought through Chris and Jessica! He knows that I really like guys who are confident enough to get to know me before asking for my number. That showing interest thing is so real! (But sliding in my DMs doesn’t do it for me at all, because of the ones who ruined it for everyone else. 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ So many gems 💎 in this episode that I will have to rewatch to glean them all.

This episode rather triggered me… As an obese lady, according to my BMI, who has struggled with yo-yo weight, my greatest fear is to meet a gent in my slim season and then he doesn’t like me anymore if I put on weight… those horror stories do exist where your partner no longer finds you attractive and they belittle you and stop helping you to be a better version of yourself…
On that note, I think tread lightly on that one Miss Jess😊
And this is not at all to make you guys change what you like, I’m all for that because I have my preferences… but just to give you perspective that if you meet someone in their slim season who says “look, here’s a picture of when I was fat.” You should be able to hear that silent question wondering if you would still like them if they gained the weight back…
Why not just focus on never gaining weight again unless it's during a pregnancy?
I agree. You have to be what a man wants and what a CB man needs. Stay healthy and in shape.
What is a CB man?
Sis honestly just focus on being the healthiest version of you ...... don't focus on weight, what men want / like etc cos different men like different types. But just about everyone wants a partner who is healthy. And in my experience when people are healthy they not only look good/better but they got that glow that they are at ease with themselves and they feel good. Also focusing on health vs weight will stop the yo-yo weight
