    EPIC Dan 👏👏👏
That was truly AMAZING. Loved the intro and documentary style. Could really feel the hurt and the determination. It looks like we both had similarities in the way things unfolded during the 50 miles. It's been great to share the training journey for our first 50 milers together and so pleased that we both completed it. Wear the medal with pride, you really earned it.

Chris, it was really reassuring to know a fellow runner was out there on the course that day. I kept an eye on my phone when times were tough and knowing you were battling on as well pushed me further. We did something few people get the chance to do and complete and we get to hold onto that for the rest of our lives. Enjoy the rest and recovery Chris

This should be mandatory viewing for anyone thinking of running their first 50 miler. Absolutely epic! Dan, you impress me beyond words! Fantastic racing on a tough course. You have inspired a lot of people with this effort and this video, especially me. Very VERY well done. Really enjoyed watching that open and frank review of your NDW050. I did an ultra on the SDW and also struggled with the hills. NDW 50 was my first ultra two years ago, felt everything you describe. Great, incredibly honest, account of all the things that go on with your mind and body. When you mentioned that you have two options, one being let it get on top of you, that really resonated with me. At last year's SDW 50 that happened to me and I got stuck in a mental rut and ended up being timed out at 34 miles. Well done, great effort! Hope to see you on another Centurion event some time!
