  • I was honestly blown away by Leipoldtville! A very small historical town with so much character on the road to Clanwilliam from Lambert’s Bay. It was really interesting to speak with the groundskeeper of the church. He was born in Leipoldtville and lived there his whole life. The population of the town is only 298. I would love to live there. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #velddrif #portowen

Hi. What a lovely clean pretty little village. I am busy catching up on your earlier videos and becoming addicted. I love South Africa and all it offers, but watching your videos of all the lesser known towns and villages has grown my appreciation even more. Thanks for all your lovely videos , keep going please.

Your addiction is a good one! 😁 We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying our videos, it means a lot to have like-minded folks join us on our travels. You're so right, the little towns are incredible and have so much to offer. It always amazes me when we happen upon a new one we knew nothing about before.

Bird Island was still closed when I visited Lambert's Bay earlier this month - a huge pity. But what a great little village Leipoldtville is! Those church gardens are magnificent, kudos to the groundskeeper. Such a great channel guys, you earned my sub :)

Thank you! 👌🏻Leipoldtville was such a surprise to us, we loved driving around the little village. Agreed about Bird Island, I was looking forward to visiting after a very long time. The little office was manned, but they said the ocean was too rough and was splashing over the walkway at the time. I missed seeing the birds up close.

Hoekom praat die mense nie Afrikaans nie , hulle is tog al twee afrikaans. Daarom kyk ek nie verder nie!!!~!!!!

You assume that I'm Afrikaans-speaking because I have an accent! For your information, I'm an English-speaking person who grew up in the Free State and therefore have a strong accent. My elderly mom, the rest of my family and many of our friends are English-speaking and would also like to follow our travels. Rather ask next time instead of jumping to conclusions! 😁
