I have to say this is probably one of your best sets of images you've put out in a while. I'm a sucker for buildings in a landscape rather than just prettiness. The colours of the sky, buildings, plants and algae just bring the whole image together.
I've been here many times. Mostly going to the top of Holyhead Mountain and South Stack. I know about North Stack but have never been. You have whetted my appetite. My wife and I go every year and will make sure we visit North Stack. One of the attributes of good photos, is to make the viewer want to go and see for themselves. You've done just that. Thanks Paul.
Hi Paul, what a cracking place that was, it looks absolutely beautiful and it looks so peaceful so a very good find in all 😁. The photos you took were fantastic and so colourful but I think my favourite photo was the window surrounded by the trees and shrubbery, it was just amazing, and definitely like something out of a fairy tale. Loved the video Paul, thanks for sharing it with us. 😁👍
Walked this a few times, Paul - and further along to South Stack and back a different route. When growing up I was able to hear the foghorn a good 10 miles inland on a foggy day or night, quite eerie and that sound will always be in my mind's ear! Well captured.\💪
Many times, and over many years. this coast of Anglesey was a particular favorite BH destination. The walk over from Holyhead to the Ice Cream parlour/cafe over holyhead Mt. It was particular favorite normally done with two cars though to negate a circuit, There are even better walks on this coast. took a pop at the the rock climbing there on one occasion, supper intimidating and a bit above my grade TBF.
Strange I have been to Anglesey many times and never stopped to take pictures I have always gone straight to Holyhead got on the ferry and away to the island of Ireland! Thank you for showing us your pictures!
Great place Paul. I really enjoyed the shots showing the flowers, curved wall and the magazine building. We are off to Anglesey in September, so you have inspired me to search out a few places. Great stuff!!!
Was there a few weeks back at South Stack and did notice these buildings in the distance so thanks for this I now know what it was and add it to my list for my next visit. Keep up the good work.
Definitely well worth a visit Paul. In the right conditions there looks to be a number of great compositions to be had. Really liked the one at around 11:32 with the wild flowers in the foreground. The vertigo kicked in when you were standing right on the edge mate so please don't do it. 📷👏👏
Once again Paul, a very nice presentation. I enjoy the way you put the video, commentary, and stills together. You definitely have a nact for how you incorporate the video story. Keep up the great work.
