Patna Village Blue Basin River Estate Trinidad and Tobago Caribbean Road Trip by JBManCave.com

A rainy day where we look at the following areas: Patna Village, Blue Basin, and some of the North Post Rd. We make some stops along the way and I comment about how it used to be versus how it is now. If you used to live in any of these areas or would like for somewhere new in Trinidad to visit then this video may be of interest to you.
For those curious as to why some parts may be blurred: Usually if the camera focuses too much on the faces of children or some awkward moment then I blur it to protect the integrity of the people around me. These videos focus on the general surroundings and not specific people unless I am conducting an interview or approached by someone during the course of recording.

I grew up in GreenHill Village and migrated 46 years ago. I remember knock-in-about in all areas in this video, also remember when that River Estate road was forest . thanks for the memories.

I always enjoy a good road trip with dialogue..it makes the vlog more interesting...thx mate for uploading...i remember back in the 80's going to Maracas waterfall with my cousins..we had to park and hike it to the falls the trail had natural spring water coming thru rocks.....it was an adventure i will never forget...absolutely gorgeous...Legend Baby!🤘⚡

Thanks JB for another outstanding video. Never been to this part of Trinidad and probably never will in person but you gave me the opportunity to experience it on my big screen from the comfort of my home. I love the extensive greenery. The garbage issue is a big eyesore. Maybe there was some kind of labour dispute. Great job and again another five stars.

Bagatelle and Patna village was always considered very bad areas. Hiking trails were built from Chaguaramas straight across to North Post through the CCC, TTDF and the local black communities beginning some 40 years ago thereby rejuvenating the North Coast areas.
The Hindu community must have recently, in the past 15 years moved into the community.
