- One of the most remote places in Trinidad and Tobago is the village of Brasso Seco. In this video, you will see how long and what you have to go through in order to get there. I will both comment and play a mixture of world music. You need to watch the whole video if you want to catch what I have to say as I come in every now and again with thoughts. We make stops along the way and see some interesting parts of nature. It is a very beautifully green road trip that makes you feel as though you are there with me in my truck.

Have you ever been to Brasso Seco in the Caribbean island of Trinidad? It is an amazing road trip through tropical forests as you will see.
No i've never been there. I'm not a fan of the beach; even though I'm a Trinidadian....
Viewing from abroad... Philly.😊
Zena, did you watch? There is no beach featured in this video.
I’ve been there for a hike to Double River Waterfall this year amazing scenic view at Las Lapas lookout very picturesque
@@jabarireyes4097 thanks for sharing your experience.
Hey JB, I know I'm late, but that crab looks like a juvenile Manicou crab, also known as a mountain crab. They taste excellent.
My name is Ulric Assee and I left Trinidad forty years ago. This is a great service. I have never been to Blanchisseuse. Your video makes me feel I am actually in Trinidad.l
I really commend you. I live in Delaware in the USA and I miss Trinidad very much.
Thank you for this great service.
Maria / Ulric, thank you kindly... that is what JB's Man Cave is all about... helping you feel the REAL of whatever I am viewing. There is a lot more: th-cam.com/play/PLehpyDJDvEdgKWXTh9BxREp7ZIsx1r5qD.html

@@JBsManCave indeed... will do !
Thank you for making this video available to the public. I have viewed it for just 1/2 hour and I must tell you how much enjoyment and tranquil pleasure I have experience. The accompanying music is appropriate and blend well with visual forms of green. It was a nice touch when a knowing dog was given what he wanted. The local authority must be credited for good maintenance of overhanging vegetation. I look forward to viewing the remainder soon.
Victor, thank you kindly, the feeling of tranquility and peace is what I was trying to portray.
I wanna see your platform grow we more Trini influence in this world 🌎
John, thank for the confidence. Please invite your friends, family and others to Subscribe... that will help with the growth,

Sherba, welcome. Thanks for watching.
Watching from Long Island N.Y.I moved here with my parents from Cocoyea San Fernando since 1970.
Sherba, ah, I have some videos around San Fernando, did you see them?
Nice job … did the Blanchisseuse route from Lopinto to Maracas… took for ever even passing by the Asa Wright Centre.
Would definitely say the route is for experienced and confident drivers only🧐
Sure, even more so if you are going down to Brasso Seco and beyond.
Hello JB great job on these TH-cam Video. I would like video on La Romaine and Barrackpore where I grew up. Thanks
Don, you can see a drive through in this video which captures some of Barrackpore: th-cam.com/video/yRL6DCxT2Ws/w-d-xo.html
Tfs! I haven't seen those places in years!
Sonia, neither did I til I made the video. 😉
Absolutely Beautiful trip🇹🇹enjoyed this video
Jenny, thank you kindly. Ever been to Brasso Seco Village?
@@JBsManCave no I’ve never went their. It’s a beautiful nature trip
Jenny, for sure.
JB you are doing a very good job by giving the world a scenic view of Brasso Seco with all it's lush vegetation ❤🇹🇹

HiJB for me you did such a marvelous job bringing back memories. You started in front of the Girls Govt school of which I am familiar. When you reached the T on Prince St the house across the street was Tanty Priscilla parlor a landmark for Arimians and Blanchisesuse people. You took me up Mt Pleasant Rd. I saw all the places I used to visit as a child. Then you took to the Blanchisseuse Rd the journey I took many times when I would see the trees ‘moving’ sometimes fast, sometimes slow while I was on the bus until I fell asleep.Oh JB it felt like my birthday. I just turned 70 anyway. THANK YOU ❤❤❤❤
Happy Birthday! Glad you enjoyed this Brasso Seco, Trinidad drive. Please let others know so they can Subscribe for FREE. 🙏
Nature at it's best, lush greenery everywhere. Born in Trinidad, heard of this place. Thank you for your exploring and bring this remote place to your viewers.
Appreciate it. Thanks for your thoughts on the Brasso Seco road trip.
Yeah J.B. that's a mountain crab 🦀 red of course and yes they inhabit the areas with rivers
all part of the natural fauna, nice one..
Carlisle, thank much. How big do those red mountain crabs get? I was wondering why I saw so many occupy the unnatural element of 'paved' road rather than hide in the green.
@@JBsManCave All I can say is that they're a delicacy for many trinis ,big enough to eat there are some local content on social media...
@@JBsManCave Sometimes mating season.,.
Carlisle, I wish they would leave wild life alone and eat more fruits and vegetables.
This North Coast topography is more in line with mainland South America. Beautiful drive ❤
Thanks for your take on this drive to Brasso Seco in Trinidad. I actually have a North Coast drives, have you seen them?
It does not have any street lights there? I wonder how I will make out if I was driving there at night😂😂 but it is a very beautiful place to live. I wish I could live there
Nice video 😊
Thank you kindly. Feel free to check my other similar videos.
I am new to your channel. I watch your channel almost every day. I did not know Trinidad was so beautiful. I love the places you visit, especially the rural parts. I hope one day to live in the countryside of Trinidad. I love the moruga video. I wish you could do a video of LA Lune and Marac
@@ruthstewart9354 that's cool that you watch my Channel everyday... is it for my T&T based videos or everything? Where do you live now? I get loads and loads of requests so here is how I handle them: www.jborde.com/frequently-asked-questions/
@JB's Man Cave I live in trinidad. I mostly watch your T&T based video. I recently found out you cover other topics. I love this Brasso Seco video. I did not know this place existed. I do not mind living here or Moruga. I think this video is my best one after Moruga video. Lol
Cool. If you are mostly into T&T then you will want to see just how much I have captured: jbsmancave.com/trinidad-and-tobago-road-trip-map/ happy viewing! Please do Like and Comment in the respective videos. I will look out to see what you say!
Nice!
What about this trip was nice for you?
Beautiful area ❤
Thanks for your thoughts on Brasso Seco.
Have you noticed the expert construction of the drywall around those sharp corners? Those have been there for more than a century although there are no barriers on the top of those wall I have never heard of anyone going down the precipice.
Thanks for pointing that out in this Brasso Seco, Trinidad road trip.
This is an amazing trip in Trinidad
Thank you kindly. 🙏
I think where you stopped by Asha’s is right where the high tension electricity wires run through the valley.I always wondered how they ever got those poles and wires through there.
Thanks for your continued input into Brasso Seco drive in Trinidad. If you add a timeline then we can see exactly where you are referring to in the video.

Interesting and lovely to see! Thanks for sharing. It would be good to see the routes from Sangre Grande through Coalmine, Biche, Charuma, Cushe, Navet into and around Rio Claro.
Ms Jones, I guess you are not a Subscriber... make sure to Subscribe as I already did those road trips. 😉 Please see: th-cam.com/video/M5wh3nyJN2E/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/GV_R-SrbiVM/w-d-xo.html and more. There is a full playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLehpyDJDvEdgKWXTh9BxREp7ZIsx1r5qD.html
@@JBsManCave I’ve been following you on Facebook. I hate endless TH-cam notifications. In any event, it appears none of the routes you listed or referred me to goes along the length of Cunapo Southern Main Road which runs from Sangre Grande through the villages listed above and ends in Rio Claro. Maybe that route scares you?
Ms. Jones, I've been through all those areas. Maybe this one which is 5 hours long: th-cam.com/video/dS_4aaHWTQQ/w-d-xo.html
@@JBsManCave no it’s certainly not this video. I’ve been through several of your videos any I cannot find the Cunapo Southern Main Road on any of them.
Ms. Jones, hmm... maybe I missed that road, I have made a note to pass through there just for you!
Blue mountain crab. Normal occurence
Terri, thanks for your input.
take a trip to Dominica. carribean airlines fly there. And drive all over the country
good roads. most roads in the mountains are made from concrete. 365 rivers. very much nature and un touched. the have a original native people settlement called kalinago and formerly known as the carib people.
Desmond, you mentioned that country in another video as well but never actually mention anything about the actual video at hand.
@@JBsManCave you video are great. I like what you are doing. people have migrate from trinidad over 20 to 30 years and have not seen how the places have developed. your videos bring memories to lots of people. I commented on Dominica because as a small country with a GDP of half a billion US as compared to trinidad 20 billion US , Dominica has better and less pot hole roads in the country.
Desmond, I understand... we can do so much better here.
Went to Dominica a few years ago bathed in the sulphur springs and went up to Loada with the river in the ‘sky’
awesome 👍🏽
@@desmondburnett9286 trinidad is actually 45 billion usd but got your point
Where do you live ? , And are you from Trinidad and Tobago
Franco, from T&T, I'm a traveler. 😉
@@JBsManCave That's awesome man thanks 👍
Correction bringing.
All good. Thank you kindly.
Where is brasso seco?
Within the mountains of North Trinidad, an island in the Caribbean.
