Over time, I have found four Prism kites that were in such bad shape most people would have thrown them away. The staff helped me find the correct parts and get these kites back into the sky where they belong.

I know this video is older but it is a great video about a great company! I just order the Tensor 5.0 and dealt with Mark in emails before the purchase. It is refreshing to deal with a company that cares about the customer and their experience!

@@WorldsGreatestKiting got curious and wanted to see how some of the other manufactures are doing. Nice to see prism and Tim benson still making sports kites. Sad to see that R-sky stopped making sports kites a year ago, really wanted to try a Nirvana. Also, what ever happened to blue moon kites? Did they go under as well?

Very cool video! I got a couple Prism Design kites: Alien, Hypnotist, 3D, Ozone, Zenith 7, Quantum, Micron, Elixir, and Micron 5 Stack. It feels good when you see one of the kites you actually owns and it is hanging at the headquarters like a piece of museum. I would like to find a Prophecy and Zephyr, but those are no longer made. But on you video I saw one that catched my attention and I decided to buy it rught on the spot! The Zero G

Great video! I have several Prism kites from the early days and was glad to see them make the transition from just stunt kites to single line and I had the Triad ASA it was released (I worked in a kite store in Denver).

Can’t say anything nicer about them that you didn’t already say. I have had problems with other companies and they brush you off and don’t care about the customer. Prism went above and beyond when I had a problem with my synapse, it was fixed and back to me by the end of the week. I will be buying Prism kites again, no doubt!

Hi Drayton I recently found you on TH-cam and have been watching your videos. I’m from the Pittsburgh, Pa area and was in San Francisco many years ago and happened upon a kite store at pier 49. I bought a Prism Snapshot 1.9 and was excited to take it home to fly it. I tried it a few times and was disappointed with it because I couldn’t launch it long enough to actually fly it for more than a few seconds at a time so I put it away for several years but think about kite flying often. Last spring my wife and I were in Pawleys Island, Sc and went to a kite store in Myrtle Beach and I bought a Prism Quantum, took it to the beach and absolutely LOVED IT!!! Just a few weeks ago I was online and bought a Prism Tantrum 250. I haven’t had it out yet but plan on taking it to Pawleys Island, Sc in May. I haven’t seen any of your videos on the Tantrum, did you produce any? If you haven’t please do so? Thanks for listening and I will continue to watch your channel. Thanks for making easy and interesting to watch videos. Dan Jankowski.

I used to have 6 Trilby Stunt kites I used to fly attached together along with tails attached, as a 13 yr old girl! (Yes, I was atheletic and into sports;). When I did 6 I’d get drug way down the beach heels dug in the sand, but it was a ton of fun! I was good at entertaining folks in the restaurants in Lincoln City and would fake my mom out doing dive bombs to her on the sand (thought it was funny at the time), but I also enjoyed doing full speed dive bombs from the very top down to make it look like I was about close to crashing then pull super hard at last minute to have it glide across the sand of even the water then back up….or do a couple twirls soon after toward the bottom to keep up the suspense of looking like I might crash them. Sometimes the tails might make it not pull off the trick if they got too wet from water tricks like that.
6 kites tied together was a ton of force so I usually preferred flying 3 because I felt like it would still give the beautiful looks when doing all the stunts - different colors plus tails were a MUST!
    Fewest I would do was
2, but never liked the looks of only 1 kite even though I always used tailed on the kites! Never liked them without the tails.
Will you guys ever make one that attaches multiple stunt kites with tails?
Btw I am 50 now..yikes! I have 2 prism kites I got from Amazon and the big one I have it seems like the strings are not attached correctly and someone might have messed with them as it isn’t flying correctly and even tends to curl a wing in and I’m not sure why. It just doesn’t seem like the lines attaching are well balanced for my big one - the small one is fine. How do I know if they are messed up and how can I retye them on the kite so it is is symmetrical and in balance when getting launched by the wind?
Also I have some kite boarding lessons waiting for me in Hood River area but not done it yet. I know how to wake board at least but what would be the best kite to prepare for kite boarding or a kite we could actually use to do kite boarding? We live right on the Columbia so it would be cool to just get on a board and fly a kite when I see enough wind out our window! Lol 😂

Like smartphones and other delicate precise stuff. China is not always equal to bad quality. But inhouse production would be nice.
