The fact you were able to not only fly it, but turn and relaunch, in wind that would barely ruffle water, says a lot about how efficient this wing is. Wow.

This Prism Mentor 2.5 is a BEAUTIFUL FLYING POWER KITE, that is very kite flyer friendly. In the right conditions she is very stable. I’m harnessed into her & so far all my sessions have been getting more glorious than the previous. I’m so glad I bought this kite, not just her but her big sister too, Mentor 3.5 Looking forward to her maiden flight.🇺🇸🧂🇺🇸

Hello Drayton my name is Dan and I live in the Pittsburgh, Pa area. I subscribed to your channel a few weeks ago and have watched several of you videos and l like each and every one so far. My story (in a nutshell) is this: Many years ago my wife and I were in San Francisco and I happened upon a kite store at pier 49 by myself, (my wife was a at business meeting She would have killed me if she knew I spent a hundred dollars in a kite). I walked around the store mesmerized and decided to buy a Prism Snapshot 1.4. I brought this kite home and tried to fly it several times and became very disappointed because I couldn’t keep it in the air more than a few seconds at a time probably because the wind speed was not fast enough. So I put the kite away for several years, although I thought about flying it many many times since. Last spring while we were on vacation in Pawleys Island, Sc, we visited a kite store in Myrtle Beach where I bought a Prism Quantum. I took this kite straight to the beach got it in the air and absolutely LOVED IT! A few weeks ago I bought (on line) a Prism Tantrum 250 but have not taken it out to fly just yet because our weather here in south west, Pa is bad. We do have a vacation planned at Pawleys Island, Sc the beginning of May and I plan on flying it then plus my Quantum and Snapshot 1.4. My question is, so far I have not seen any of your videos using the Snapshot 1.4 or the Tantrum 250. Do you have any such videos and do you have any tips, tricks, pointers for these two kites? Pleas keep posting your videos on TH-cam and I will continue to watch them.
    Sincerely
    Dan Jankowski

I do have a few videos with these kites, however I think its time to re-visit the subject with a few kites currently out on the market in a new video! Thanks for watching Dan!

But what about peter Lynn skim, hq4 hydra, and a lot of other kites, the all have enclosed cell design, what you was talking about is Inflateble leading edge.

Great video. How to handle when the kite rotates more than 360 degrees? To get the lines parallel again? Since you can't rotate the bar, like you would with a harness?

    • @theprojectproject01

Easy! You just steer it so the leading edge is pointing up, then steer it in a spiral opposite of how things twisted up in the first place. You just unwind the lines using the kite.
Because the lines didn't magically connect to different sides. Right is always right, left is always left.

I like your kite bag from the first few seconds of the video. What bag is that? And how long is the inside?
