Prism is to Kites as Spyderco is to Knives & I've been collecting both for 35 years. Fun flying!

When you hear the kite is making this buzzing sound in strong winds, adjust the briddel.

Is this your first dual line kite? How was the learning curve? I’m trying to decide between a dual line framed like nexus or a dual lined foil like a synapse. Prism site says the synapse is a good one to learn on. Wondering what your experience was. Thx

@joshcampbell6682 This is my 2nd dual line. I bought a foil kite about the same size as a synapse when I was younger. I had fun with that and lived in a place where there's not a whole lot of wind. So I never flew it that much. But it was pretty easy to learn. I wanted something more agile, quick, and something I could eventually learn to do tricks on. The stunt/sport kites really caught my eye, and so I bought one. Stunt kites are pretty easy to learn as well, if you are talking about basic stuff. I've also tried a quad line kite, like a revolution, but I returned it because I tried several times and couldn't get the hang of it. I'm sure if someone taught me, I'd be able to learn. They look super fun once you get the hang of it though.

How did you attach the tail to the kite? I have a hypnotist and I don't know where to attach it. Great video btw ^^.

There are two elastic bands that run on the bottom you can hook both of them at the same time to ensure it's even. I had the same problem at first and was looking for a dedicated hook point but I could never find one so I just used the elastic bands. I'm sure there's a name for them but not sure lol. Thank you! I want to eventually try to get into Revolution Kites, They look extremely fascinating.

@@KnifeFanatic Ah! I was thinking of doing the same thing but with the typical keychain rings, maybe some elastic bands would be better for the cause, thank you very much. :D

Great video. Did you think that 75 foot tail slowed you down? It looks super light in the video. I'm getting reacquainted with my Prism kites and have the Prism Illusion which has been discontinued. I believe the Illusion was the start of Prism making the Quantum. Nice flying.

Thank you!! Ya, the tail definitely slows it down and requires winds a little on the stronger side if you want to be able to whip it around and have fun with it. This is my first prism kite, and I love it. I've tried a revolution quad line kite a couple of times and returned it because I just couldn't get it. I think if someone who knew how to fly a quad helped me learn, it would be better. They look super fun, but I think the learning curve is pretty hard (at least for me) because I was trying to use the same mechanics for a dual line on the quad. I don't think I've heard of the illusion. I had a little 4 or 5 ft parafoil when I was younger, kind of like the synapse, and that thing was a blast. I just recently got back into kiting with the quantum. I think stunt kites are more fun because you have the ability to land and re launch the kite without the walk of shame, lol. Plus, there's so many tricks you can do once you get more advanced with it. I'm not really there yet, but hopefully, with time. Thanks for watching!!
