    Nice to learn.
I have exactly the same yellow one. 🙂 It's flying great at 3-5 bft with 20m lines.
    Greatings from germany.

      What's bft?

@@justme.9711 , bft = Beaufort scale (classification of wind strengths)

Maybe it's like a paraglider where you must move in the direction it's falling. I guess to be a kite it needs to be in constant stall position which may explain the instability. I think I'm gonna get one and have a go anyway!

Was there any adjustments you made to the kite ? I got a 1.8 and mine keeps collapsing when i try turning it

No, just flew it as is. Got it out a few months ago to try again but I must have wrapped the lines up wrong as they were impossibly twisted when I rolled it all back out. Haven't messed with it since. Lost interest.

Could it be used for an RC paraglider conversion?

Not without modifying it by adding steering lines at the trailing edge, making risers, etc..

I found these need a lot of wind to fly successfully. ALOT of wind!

If you want success in power kite flying start by buying a better kite. I have never owned a Sportzone kite but have watched a lot of videos about them that have been posted on youtube. It is very evident that this model is a bad choice for anyone - beginner or experienced. I guess a lot of people are attracted by the low price of sportzone kites but along with the low price you get extremely low build quality and performance. There are so many better kites available for not a lot of extra investment.

why you say performance is bad?

When the guys hands are in shot you can see that the kite is very slow to respond to control inputs sometimes it does not respond at all. It also sits very low in the sky, collapses in turns and sinks if not "worked" by the flyer. This video doesn't really show it but the canopy shape is very uneven on these kites which is bad for performance

@@garyrobinson312 Hi what kites do you recommend?

    • @garyrobinson312

@@MissMarshall for a beginner I'd recommend any of the HQ Symphony kites, Spider kites amigo or Crosskites air. Various sizes are available in these so easy to find something suitable for any age, ability and budget. They will cost more than the sportzone but will be higher quality and have better performance. Lots of videos of these brands on TH-cam.
